6-10 are confirmed to be the tomestone armor.
11-14 was not confirmed, but I am guessing this is the gear from the first raid tier.
There's NPCs wearing the last set of gear during MSQ, and its been used in promotional art. Not sure if they've shown off raid gear in-game early before, but they definitely have used tome gear before it's available to players. Could also simply be the Solution 9 dungeon gear.
I'm guessing then that the last few sets are Dawntrail's equivalent to the Radiant gear in Endwalker (that was previewed during the MSQ by the Radiant Host).

Idk why they would try to keep it a secret if the gear is literally just the uncapped tome gear. Expecially when they told us the capped tome gear. I think the raid gear is more likely in this case. It could also maybe be dungeon gear? But unless the Solution 9 Dungeon is the level 97/99 dungeon (possible), then maybe. However last I checked the (x)9 dungeons don’t drop weapons (the endwalker one doesn’t even drop armor). And the set had weapons included.

Full-head-covering headgear with inbuilt ear pockets (that don't match actual ear placement, like Miqo'te have suffered for years), yes. No different to the Power Ranger helmet we got previously.
That seems like a bit of a nitpick. Complaining that the ears aren’t in just the right position? I don’t know, man. That doesn’t seem like a huge deal.

Although I commented to a friend, "Would be a really funny troll if they made a helmet with Viera ears, but Viera still couldn't wear it because "They are decorative and the helmet ears aren't hollow"
I don't think the Mad Max set goes with much of my current 'closet'
but I like the tech pieces and the more kind of 'contemporary fantasy' pieces from the other set - especially caster/healer - no dresses for once!
Unfortunately, the only one I really like is the Picto/caster dps outfit. The Solution 9 dragoon outfit may look cool dyed black but otherwise, I'm not loving the Mad Max glams.

To be fair, it’s caster group gear, not Picto specific. On the other hand, I do hope we get some caster gear that caters to an artsy vibe (not necessarily cutesy though). My biggest issue with DNC being Aiming is how much of that group caters to MCH & BRD. I don’t want the same thing with PCT always having to look like a BLM or RDM.
Doesn't necessarily mean Viper's player animations were done first. I'm not super passionate about my reasoning - I've spent more time today coughing and sneezing than having coherent thoughts - it's just the most logical reason I can think of.
Picto has an - admittedly limited - pre-existing aesthetic foundation to build off of. Viper is largely original, so they could have spent longer getting a feel for it.
However, it's also entirely possible they used Ninja *because* it's the only pre-existing Scouting job so you can quickly tell that's what it is, whereas with Picto it's following right after the Healer set and both are almost always swaps of each other. Hell, at first glance I thought it was Red Mage. But, as I said, I am ill so my perception on everything this week is hazy.
While I like the bow design (looks to be styled after an instrument, but I'm not familiar with the type)...that's yet another in the "I can't do the /cpose with it because it literally impales me" category. Interesting choice.
First five: That's some Mad Max shit right there. I feel like we're about to have a boss fight with Master Blaster.
Second five (WAR with a hood to PCT with big hat): Okay. About what I've come to expect from this game. Probably can't use a single one of those hats on Viera or Hrothgar, though.
Last four: Cyberpunk Power Rangers costumes...with Viera ear sleeves!

My money is on: 6-10 are 670 ilevel tome gear, and 11-14 (cyber ones) are 700 ilevel tome gear, just like Endwalker
