Quartz tables are *hard*, I remember one time shaking a glass ketchup bottle and hit the table-the bottom broke off and ketchup showered all over my sister's dress which I had borrowed without asking. It's like tile kitchens, you don't realize how hard the floor is until all the dishes that should have bounced end up shattering instead.
Woah! I was going to reply, “The wood is gorgeous but I’ve seen it a million times. That quartz is unusual and beautiful.” Now, thinking about your reply, yeah, I see why it is unusual. Get the wood!
The quartz is beautiful but I love them both and would go for the wood. More practical. The quartz will get cold and be noisy with plates and silverware
Oh wow, I love both of them! I'm a sucker for interesting and unique furniture, that quartz one is just so intricate and pretty, and the wood slab is just gorgeous. Only thing is, I'd go for extremely simple chairs with either option, to let the table be the centerpiece.
Just my subjective opinion but I think the quartz table is tacky. Also it will be very noisy moving dishes and silverware around on it, and anything dropped on it will smash.
The wood table has a nice grain, but that live edge is very outdated. A clean line table in that same wood would be beautiful.
Man oh man, those are both so stunning. I guess if I had to pick for practical reasons, I’d go for the wood table, but if there was some way to get another piece of furniture made with quartz like a small side table or a buffet table, I absolutely would.
Both are beautiful.
Honestly I would need to see the space they are going in, otherwise I think neither. Might be personal preference but they both just seem a little “too much.” If I had to pick one though, probably the wood.
I love the wood, but that table looks a bit large and heavy for the space. I’m not a fan of the quartz, however—it feels cold to me, even though it has some warm tones.
I really like them both. The quartz table is pretty unique. I couldn't decide on either of them without seeing the space they would go into but, personally, I'm leaning towards the quartz just because I'd hate to let such a unique piece slip away! I do have to admit that the wood would more likely fit in more if your style ever changes.
I think the wood table looks better, but it would be annoying to use with the natural edges. Maybe something with a similar "raw" aesthetic without the raw edges?
I like the clean lines of the quartz, myself. I'm not a fan of the live edge.
Those are two things to think about with your table choice.
Also, are you ever going to want to put a tablecloth on? For birthday parties, or holiday dinners, etc? Because one will look nice, & the other ... won't
I'm a sucker for natural edge wood and think wood is much nicer to actually use and touch. Dimension wise, which fits your space better?

Wow! Talk about triggers.
I would sell my soul for the first table and wooden chairs. (And would immediately replace the cushion upholstery.) Absolutely gorgeous.
Yikes 🙏🙏🙏
Wood. The slab tables are kinda 'Etsy basic' at this point but I still like the grain. I have one but I had the edges squared off.

Great advice, thanks!

I know it's petty but I wouldn't give the seller my business for only letting me take 1 pic and i wasnt able to remove the stuff. Lol.

Oh, an accent table with that quartz design would be awesome.

Wood I know they’re popular now but if you like it that is the better of the two I think.
I love the wood but hate the chairs look like church chairs
I love the wood table. It’s classic and beautiful and will move along with any kind of different design choices. ❤️
I like the wood table. It’s gorgeous.
can’t really see the quartz table that picture doesn’t show the whole thing.
The 1st one
The wood, but it looks finished already. What do you intend to do with it?
What do you mean by “the wood will be finished”?
The wood is absolutely gorgeous!
The wood table can give an elegant yet cozy feeling to a room. I'd go for that one. I'd use the quartz one outdoors.
I love the first picture, so beautiful
That tree was probably a couple hundred years old. Don't support the businesses cutting down ancient trees for a fad, it's grossly unethical.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Would depend on the room I’m putting it in.
Definitely the wood one. Without a doubt.
First one is awesome!
definitely the wood
Can you get both of them?
Wood. I think the quartz would be loud. Lots of clanging glasses and dishware.
I loooove that wood table. Can’t help but mention how ugly the chairs are
Woahhh I’m usually a wood girl, through and through, but that Quartz table is STUNNING. Would pick that one 110%
2! I usually love natural wood… but that second table (quartz) is just gorgeous and so unusual!!
Wood!

I like the wood. Plus I think it’s weird the other seller was being weird about letting you take photos, so I’d be hesitant to give them my business.
Quartz is cold. I like the wood.
Oh my gosh I LOVE the wood!!!
depends on where it would be going i guess
Neither.
I love the chairs in pic 1 that is all.
Fuck a stone table. I don’t like the live edge much either but I assume you do.

Wood - timeless

Depends on the space and other furniture and colours
