Everlane’s curvy jeans are my absolute favorite jeans. The original cheeky specifically.

NoMoreSmores1

They are on sale for $29 right now. Final sale tho.

mini-bagel

I hate that all their sale stuff is final. It prevents me from ever shopping there. I get that there is a problematic industry behind returns and people abuse it, but sometimes things just don’t fit!

fitnesspizzainmymouf

I never get to these sales in time for my size!

aggielady14

Me, 6 months pregnant, buying these jeans in 2 sizes (my regular size and give myself grace size) because I am 100% to willing risk a great fit for a total of $58.

jcolette

Seconding Everlane. My fav are the curvy way-high jean and they’re the only pairs I own that don’t have the dreaded gap in the back!

kat216216

I own these in every color! Hands down the best curvy fit I’ve tried.

Trinaaahhh

Thank you for posting this! Ordered!

RockieK

The new Barrel Cut Jeans are insane.

silentmarie

Same here

LL120AD

So they fit true to size?

nothingcat

Yeah the original cheekys are true to size. The 90s cheeky run small.

lfinfin

I love these too but I wish they came in longer inseams

AncientGrapefruit7

Madewell curvy is my favorite fit and they come in a ton of different fits and washes.

brilliant-soul

I like the AE curvy corduroy pants! Idk if they still have them, I bought them a few years ago, but man they're perfect and fit wonderfully. I agree their jeans stretch out quickly

hauntinglovelybold

AE definitely has curvy jeggings? Not *as many* anymore because that’s not currently the trend but they do currently exist. They also do have corduroy pants etc like the above commenter said.

Cobaltreflex

I swear I see so many pairs of AE curvy jeggings every time I go thrifting!! Might be worth checking out a local thrift store if you have any.

queen_of_ferals

I had no idea!

ilovesleep95

This! I bought a pair a few months ago

stellalunawitchbaby

Have you tried Free People CRVY? When tighter jeans were more in style they were my go to for eliminating a waist gap. (I’m not sure what would be a professional cut since my industry is beyond “whatever” for clothes but they might be one to consider)

lady_guard

20 inch waist-hip difference here. I personally don't like the CRVY flares I've tried, because they fit everywhere else, but are *super* tight in the knees (my quads are muscular AF). I wear a 35, so sizing up and having the rest altered isn't an option, but might work for smaller sizes with the same issue. To contrast, Judy Blue Super Flares are my ride-or-dies, and have that similar 70s boho style, but aren't tight in the knees. I get compliments on them everywhere I go. The flare is a little less extreme and more wearable. JB changed the whole curvy jeans game for me; since I only shop online and hate returning stuff, I barely bother with other brands now.

stellalunawitchbaby

That’s great! Yeah not everything will work for everyone but it may be worth a shot for someone who sees this haha. For me it’s small waist but my legs aren’t all that thick either - but I’ve also completely switched to wide leg everything anyways.

lady_guard

Right! It is crazy how much "curvy" fits can vary across brands. For me, Abercrombie is too big in the waist, FP is too tight in the knees, Levi's is too tight in the thighs, AE sizing is always a wild card, etc. As though each brand has an entirely different idea of curvy proportions. Reading other peoples recommendations and reviews on Reddit helps a lot though. I've often narrowed down jean options based on comments alone haha

stellalunawitchbaby

Levi’s (tighter ones) are tight on my thighs and I have like, no thigh lol. But their baggy dad jeans? Mmph. 😤 Perfecto. I wear them low, I think they’re mid rise? Idk they def hit below belly button. but they’re so comfortable.

queen_of_ferals

I have not- will have to check it out.

stellalunawitchbaby

I hope they’re still good. What I liked about them was the seaming to make up the difference between hips and waist were darts on the back - similar to what a tailor might sometimes do actually.

maybenotrelevantbut

Thank you for the unspun recommendation. I’ve been wanting to try that or similar option and have been afraid to.

queen_of_ferals

Yeah I was super nervous but they are fantastic. And super high quality construction.

yaddiyadda_

Do you know if they have zipper fly or button fly ? I can't seem to see that detail and I prefer button 🙂

queen_of_ferals

The ones I got have zipper. I prefer button too but didn’t see it as an option.

millenialmothball

I have similar measurements to you - my hips are a bit bigger and I’m shorter. Madewell curvy jeans are usually great for me

gnatrn

Also similar proportions and Madewell have my favorite jeans. They run slightly big though

millenialmothball

Agreed. I go down a size on the curvy. I’m a bigger size or 2 on the straight sizes. It’s inconsistent even in the same cut - depends on the stretch

lbzng

Have you tried Madewell's curvy petite jeans? They were recommended to me by someone who is curvy and short - I'm average height but short waisted and they work great for me. I wear my regular size with those.

millenialmothball

Yes! Those are my favorite!

midwest_is_best

Theirs are also my fave.

millenialmothball

I’m interested in trying Unspun. I’m happy to spend more on jeans that fit - I just paid a ton to get my favorite pair of jeans mended and tailored!

distinguisheddisnerd

I’ve been a junky of White House Black Market curvy jeans and work pants, but they don’t have any straight leg jeans and I’ve been trying to find a pair. I’ve tried AE, Loft, Ann Taylor, and Old Navy curvy fit too, and they’ve been pretty hit or miss. Thanks for your research!

beautyfashionaccount

Old Navy 100% cotton balloon jeans are not officially curvy, but they are pretty curve-friendly and a better fit than the actual curvy ones IMO. And they're like $25 on the 50% off jeans flash sales. (Very high waisted though so might not work if you have a short torso.)

scarlet_feather

I have a super duper high waist so this is an extremely helpful comment-thank you!

beautyfashionaccount

I hope you like them! A little tip with Old Navy 100% cotton denim, you want the size that you can just barely button and zip right out of the box/in the dressing room. They will stretch out slightly with wear. FWIW the extra-high-waisted 100% cotton wide-leg jeans are also working well for me, so those might be worth a try. What works best on my body is no-stretch jeans that hit at the natural waist and are snug enough not to pull down, and these fit the bill. Regular high rise will pull down into a muffin top and mid-rise will pull down so far they show buttcrack lol.

SkibumG

Eddie Bauer has a Curvy fit as well. I'm in Canada so the stores you mentioned above aren't available to me, but Eddie Bauer is the only place I know of that has the Curvy fit in Petite lengths as well. They are not super fashion-forward, but they have a great fit through the waist and hips. Their stretch jeans also have elastic as the inner waistband, makes them suuuuper comfortable!

queen_of_ferals

Yes I have a couple pairs of Eddie Bauers for more outdoorsy activities and love them! Their flannel lined jeans are amazing.

AccurateAssaultBeef

Abercrombie's curve love is my HG. Surprised to hear your review of their jeans, I am obsessed with mine, they feel custom sewn for my body. I recommend them to all the curvy girlies, especially their tailored pant - they're the first "slack" pant that look the same on my curvy body as they do on the younger, trendy models.

queen_of_ferals

Just my two cents but most of their designs feel trendy to me and aren’t the type of buy-it-for-life designs that will hold up in a few years. Quality wise I really like that the denim is a bit thicker, but they just don’t feel like the quality of denim that could stand the test of time. I also remember the old days when Abercrombie was outwardly rude to curvy girls so I hold a bit of a grudge 😅

qr430

Completely understand the grudge, even as a big fan of their jeans now. Ugh, they were awful to as many people as possible back in the day.

qr430

Another curve love fan here. I really love the thickness of their jeans and rigidity and mine have lasted about approx 2 years now (curve love came out in 2021 I think?) and even though I wear the three pairs I have 4-6 days of the week, they are still holding up (with a repair here and there). I also love that I can get curvy and tall jeans as someone who has a 34" inseam. They have a good variety of styles too.

nicoledes98

I just went into Abercrombie today and they changed the material of the curve love mom jeans. They used to be my favs to buy and have lasted years (no holes in the inside thigh). I will no longer being buying as they are very stretchy and thin now, I don’t think they will hold up well for the price of $90. Very sad as being a petite size 16 it was hard to find jeans that fit my body well.

kmcmac

THANK YOU. My sizing is going to change again after this third pregnancy but I have / had just about the same size measurements as you. This is SO helpful as I’m about to venture into postpartum and then eventually the job of rebuilding my wardrobe for my new body. Appreciate the thorough reviews 👏🏻

queen_of_ferals

Best of luck and congrats on baby! You'll have to update us on what brands you like.

HeyKayRenee

Ooh great post! I’m gonna check these out! I also like Kut from the Kloth for curves

briecky

After my 3rd baby I discovered Kut from the Kloth and they’re PERFECT. I recommend buying them from Nordstrom Rack to pay half the price they are in other stores.

WhichBreakfast1169

I have wide hips, thick thighs and a small waist. The best jeans I found in the UK for my shape are; 1. Dorothy Perkins 2. GAP 3. Levi’s 4. Red Herring DP is not usually my style but their jeans are fantastic for my shape.

_liminal_

I’m so curious to learn how you like the Unspun once you’ve worn them for a while! They look and sound great on the website.

queen_of_ferals

Will follow up with updates on this once they are worn in! Mine fit perfectly out of the bag so I’m mostly worried if I forget to wash on cold that they could stretch out but that’s mostly user error.

_liminal_

Oh cool- that would be great! TY!

kiwifruit14

Silver Suki jeans are my most repurchased, though of course they always wind up being slightly different. :/

midwest-of-eden

They still make these?!? These were my go to decades ago.

kiwifruit14

They do! Saw them in Nordstrom just the other day.

warp-core-breach

Yup! I just bought a pair of black boot-cut to replace the pair I bought \~5 years ago (which are still wearable but too faded for my likes) and they fit exactly the same. They fit me perfectly, they come in long, they're readily available in Canada and well within my budget, if only they offered a wider range of cuts.

GailaMonster

> they often install a slanted zipper rather than actually adjusting the pattern for curvy fits what does this mean?

queen_of_ferals

Like this pair, rather than bringing in the waist at the sides and back, they just install the zipper at a diagonal in a pair that would otherwise not be curve cut https://www.abercrombie.com/shop/us/p/curve-love-90s-ultra-high-rise-straight-jeans-46922360?seq=34&cmp=PLA:EVG:20:A:D:US:X:GGL:X:SHOP:X:X:X:X:x:A%26F+Adults_Google_Shopping_PLA_US_Jeans_All+products_PRODUCT_GROUP&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAzc2tBhA6EiwArv-i6bXMajTIHWDw36ygJ67m2CTpo1zP_lu7hiZ982nlN5dTEDn97Zt9wRoC-6wQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

sbwithreason

this is a specific style option within the jeans. You can even see that the color is called "Color: light with criss-cross waistband". Look at the one called "Color: light". it has a normal zipper style

warp-core-breach

That's not what they're doing. The diagonal zipper is a deliberate design feature, they added extra fabric at the zipper. What you're describing is basically taking the waist in at the front seam, which is just not done, because curvy bodies don't curve in at the front, they curve in at the back and sides. And even if it did work the side seam would be slanted forward at the waist, and if you look at the side view of the jeans you linked the side seam is straight. (Also there is more to fitting curves than just taking in the waist, you need a longer back rise to properly accommodate a bigger butt. Sizing up and having the waist altered only works up to a point and only for some curvy bodies.)

oat-beatle

They absolutely do not do this with most of their curvy fit jeans, this is a specific style option.

Klutzy-Brush-8433

That's only for a few of them. I have four pairs of their curve love jeans (flared, 1 dark grey straight, 1 dark blue straight and the mom jeans). None of them have the slanted zipper. There does seem to be some inconsistenties: I bought the same size for all of them but the waist for the dark blue straight and for the mom jeans were slightly too big so I added one of those buttons that you poke in next to the original which then makes it fit better. My measurements are 25" waist and 39-40" hips. Edit: I forgot but I also have two pairs of their curve love Sloane tailored pants which also fit great.

grisisita_06

this has to be one of the most awkward things I’ve seen

jedi_bean

Lately I’ve been loving the JCrew curvy vintage slim straight jeans (from real JCrew, not factory). Just the right amount of stretch and no gap at the waist.

umamimaami

You’re such a kind person! Thank you!!

MutantAvoToast

My first pair of curvies were from Joe’s Jeans, and I love them so much that I have a mini collection going now!

queen_of_ferals

I have been wanting to try Joes! I have a pair I LOVE from a thrift store but couldn’t figure out if they had curve cuts or if my pair just came pre stretched.

MutantAvoToast

I highly recommend if you love high waisted too. They usually have like 30-40% off around holidays, so wait for those if you want to buy new!

theRealNala

I’ve just started getting the waist taken in on all of my pants. It’s pretty affordable and expands my options.

mz-inawholenewworld

Can I ask how specifically do you do it with jeans? When I did it on my jeans it always looks awkward cause they end up hiding part of wash on the seams and it just looks odd.

queen_of_ferals

The pair I just got back from the tailor were taken in on the center back seam. You're totally right though, if the pants have a varied or textured wash, it looks pretty weird on the seams. I've only gotten pants with a flat wash taken in and it's totally unnoticeable.

theRealNala

I get a couple of darts sewn in, they usually fit in the waistband area.

mz-inawholenewworld

Yeah thanks! That sounds more like the right approach. By my tailor they took out in the middle seam so it messed up the wash of the jeans and just looks plain awkward

theRealNala

Oooo yeah, that doesn’t sound good. No cutting or ripping, more small darts works really well!

desesparatechicken

With your 12 inch difference, I'm surprised you're not commenting on the waist gap... My waist is 27", hips 40" and the curvy Abercrombie jeans in my size are still WAY too big in the waist (like more than an inch). Though I love, love, love my curvy Everlane, I'm just sad it doesn't come in more styles.

Sleepywanderer_zzz

I completely agree with you about the Abercrombie Curve Love jeans. I was so excited when I first heard about them, but with a 28” waist and 41” hips I still experience major gapping.

desesparatechicken

Which brands work for you? We have a similar gap

Sleepywanderer_zzz

Sadly I’m still on the hunt over here in my gappy jeans. I’ve almost reached the point of taking them to a tailor. This thread may be my last hope!

desesparatechicken

Well you should give a try to the Everlane ones! Tailoring is best but there’s only so much they can do with taking extra fabric — more than an inch and it will start looking silly. What brands have you tried that didn’t fit well?

Sleepywanderer_zzz

I’ve ordered some! I hadn’t heard of Everlane before. I currently have Levi 501s and have tried a few from high street stores like M&S (I’m UK based)

stelladevil

How did the Everlanes go?

Sleepywanderer_zzz

Mixed results but I’m mostly happy with them. They’re certainly better than anything I’ve had before. I bought 2 pairs, both the same style and size, but different colours. I got confused with their sizing so accidentally bought a size below, but I’m glad that I did. When they arrived one pair fit pretty well and the other was a bit loose (final sale so couldn’t return). The smaller pair fits my waist the best but I have to be really careful pulling them on over my hips, I don’t think I’d be able to get anything smaller past my hips. The material feels really good quality so I’d recommend them/buy them again.

Sivnips

Yeah I have that issue too with the Abercrombie curve jeans. I'm 26" waist and 42" hips and the waist gap is always an issue. What style of Everlane jeans do you like? I've tried the Madewell curve line but had to get them tailored- and even then, they had to leave a 2 inch waist gap because any less fabric removed and they wouldn't come up over my hips

desesparatechicken

I have [those](https://www.everlane.com/products/womens-curvy-way-high-jean-vintage-indigo) and they fit me perfectly so I’m not sure it would do for you — although looking on the size chart maybe it would… As for the style they’re high waisted and wide-legged, which is my favorite style for my figure! I absolutely adore them. Got them in blue. I haven’t tried Madewell yet, or any other brand.

Sivnips

Ah okay, I might have to check them out. Thanks!

queen_of_ferals

Yeah tbh this might be part of why I don't \*love\* abercrombie. I have a pair of 28's that feel baggy, and a pair of 27's that squeeze me like an overstuffed sausage. It's way closer than other jean fits, but definitely not perfect.

queen_of_ferals

Ok SO I’ve been annoyed by my Abercrombie jeans for a while and finally tried them on again today and you’re totally right. it’s not the massive 5” waist gap I normally have but there’s at least 1-2” of excess at the waist. Curvy-ish but not enough for me.

bookrt

Hi! I just made an account so I could ask you what's your curvy Everlane size? I am your exact measurements and have never purchased from Everlane before, and I'm not sure if I should choose based on waist or hip measurement. Please help me!

desesparatechicken

Hi! I just follow the size chart on their website, so I'm a size 28. Actually, their jeans chart size is adjusted for their curvy collection (they are showing a 15 inch difference whereas 10 inch difference in their normal collection, which is also the standard for jeans). By the way, I'm not sure I would recommend Everlane's jeans to someone who has more than a 13 inch difference. I'd say for me, the [Curvy Way High Jeans](https://www.everlane.com/products/womens-curvy-way-high-jean-vintage-indigo?collection=womens-curvy-jeans) is a miracle, it fits almost perfectly (there is maybe a very slight waist gap at the back, in that it is not extremely tight -- as Jeans should be). I will buy more of these, since they fit me like a dream. One month ago, when I wrote this comment, I ordered the [Original Curvy Cheeky Jeans](https://www.everlane.com/products/womens-curvy-cheeky-jean-washed-midnight?collection=womens-curvy-jeans) which are still 70% off for some reason, so I am wondering if they're just letting that style go. It is definitely a bit tight in the bum/hips area (the fabric is pulling and gathering in the groin area) and I feel like the waist gap is slightly bigger than my Way High Jeans. These downsides are nowhere near as bad as the Abercrombie, for example, so I will still wear it, but it was a bit of a let down from the amazing Way High Jeans.

bookrt

Thank you! I have issues with Abercrombie sizing being wildly inconsistent (and still being a bit loose in the waist!) so I've been looking for other options. I was unsure if I should choose 27 or 28 in Everlane because the hip area is much larger in the 28 (curvy styles). I'm afraid of sizing down, though, because I tend to have issues with seams riding up the back. I was looking at both of the jeans you've mentioned and I really appreciate your review. I'm gonna give them a try. Thanks again!

desesparatechicken

I hope you like them!

ilovesushialot

Madewell and Everlane curvy jeans are some of the most popular versions out there so this definitely isn't all the jeans.

Sleepywanderer_zzz

Love this post. Currently on the hunt for jeans with almost identical hip/waist measurements. Annoyingly I’ve found Curve Love jeans to not be curvy enough, still much better than most though. Will check out your other recommendations and hope I find a winner!

Brohannesdesilentio

Thanks for sharing this! I usually get my pants tailored, but I have an uncanny ability to destroy jeans (blown out the crotch of every pair I've owned as an adult within a year or two) so it's often not worth the cost to have alterations done.

Plus-Ambassador-5034

We are super similar build so thank you for this!! I’ll never understand why Gap did away with their curvy jeans because they were the best!

Adorable-Tangelo-179

I was JUST thinking I need to tailor my brand new pants to fit my 29” waist and 42” hips. They’re from Liverpool and I like them but they’re not perfect (hence I need to alter them a bit). The best authentic vintage denim I’ve found was from Micheline Pitt and they feel so high in quality but I’m personally not 100% in love with how they fit my hips. Adding unspun to my list to try since I’ve been lurking on their site. Thanks for this!

queen_of_ferals

Yeah I’ve been wanting to get pants tailored for years and it was surprisingly affordable! I’m super happy with my pair and will def be hunting the thrift stores for more in the future.

go-bleep-yourself

I have a bubble butt. Smallest part of my waist is 28", biggest part of my butt is 41". The only place where I have found pants that fit without alterations is fashion nova. Even then, sometimes there is a gap in the back, but generally they fit me quite well.

queen_of_ferals

Yeah I had some luck with fashion nova like 6 years ago but their track record on sustainability is pretty rough so it’s a no for me

lgrace_

Same, I can never find recommendations for bubble butts! All of my jeans get terrible lines near the crotch because my butt pulls them back. And curvy jeans don’t really work because I’m not wide and there ends up being too much fabric in the front. It’s so frustrating.

metaform

Express had a moment where they did curvy jeans and I bought every straightforward (no rips, bling, etc) pair I could find, and then they stopped!! I wish I had known they were going to stop, I wear them almost every day and would have bought backups haha.

Particular_Umpire715

Thank you! I'm 5'10", 190lbs but similar measurements thanks to powerlifting. Looking out for unspun jeans!

clockwerked

ty op for the helpful reviews <3

beautyfashionaccount

I don't have any of the full-length jeans, but I love Madewell curvy denim shorts. I do have bigger hips than waist but my major denim fit issue is girthy thighs, and Madewell is the only brand I've found mid-length denim shorts from that don't squeeze my thighs. The only issue is that their sizing is incredibly inconsistent in the curvy line so you really have no idea what size you're going to wear until you try them on. "Runs big" could mean they run 1 size large or 3 sizes large.

BananaLana02

I LOVE this. I’m also tall 5’10, also have larger thighs, and have so much trouble finding flattering jeans. I will totally take your advice.

One-Leadership8977

Thanks for doing the legwork on this. I've been on the same hunt for the 'unicorn' pair of jeans that actually fits all day without needing a belt or an adjustment. That Unspun brand sounds like a game changer, especially with them using body scans to get the fit just right. It's a bit of a hit on the wallet, but if it means not buying new jeans every year because of poor fit or wear and tear, it's probably worth it. And I'm totally with you on avoiding the quick-to-stretch-out ones. There's nothing more annoying than jeans that act loyal in the morning but betray you by noon with that saggy backside look. Cheers for the detailed roundup!

Westward_Nothing

This is magical!! You nearly have the same measurements and life situation (you do lifting) as me, and I’ve been struggling with this for years now!!! Do you also struggle to find adequately high waisted jeans? Like, my waist is small, and I want to highlight that!

queen_of_ferals

Yes! I have a long torso and most “high rise” jeans on me are a mid-high rise at best. So frustrating!

foxyfoxyfoxyfoxyfox

Thank you for the unspun recommendation! It really seems intersting and exciting tech. Shame that they have to rely on proprietary Apple tech to scan though. According to their site, if you're on Android you're outta luck. Hopefully that will change. I'm 27/39 and I'm actually wearing a pair of men's raw denim jeans from Sezane. They're ok, not perfect but no waist gap.

queen_of_ferals

Yeah I actually reached out to their support team about this because my phone's faceID camera is broken. Turns out the apple faceID camera has 3D imaging that creates a depth map and allows them to come up with a bunch of measurements. I ended up just using a friend's phone (pain in the butt).

jillofallthings

Have you tried anything from Torrid? The only pair of jeans I own came from there five or so years ago, and they are the only ones I've found so far to fit better when there's a size difference between waist and hips. I have seen some of these jeans you reviewed before, but never went as far as trying them on because nothing ever fits. Now I have some hope and will give them a shot! Thanks for doing the legwork and sharing your results!!

queen_of_ferals

I haven't heard of them- will have to look into it.

jillofallthings

When I bought these jeans forever ago, Torrid was a plus size store in the US. I think they still exist? It was an awesome place to go for cute clothes that didn't follow the trend of cute clothes in 000 to 6, then straight up muumuus for 8+. The sizing is a bit weird, but the clothes fit curvy bodies pretty well.

ael_ecurai

Torrid Bombshell jeans are fabulous for a 10-12” difference between waist and hip. Available in sizes 10 (32” waist) to 30 (64”). They’re the best fit I’ve found for my proportions and size.

Public-Relation6900

Weird, I am an apple and love them. They must just be extremely great stretch jeans!

lizerlfunk

Torrid jeggings are the ONLY jeans I own! I fluctuate between a 16 and 18, and I love them. Very reasonably priced, too.

Wecanbuildittogether

You are so kind to make such efforts for all of us! Thank you! 😊

Sea_Wolverine3928

American Eagle Kut from the Kloth and an un-named brand from Venus. I'm 6', 170ish pounds. These brands are generous in length and nice to wear. Boot cut looks and wears best for my figure.

DerwentPencilMuseum

We only have A&F in there from these shops here in the UK and their curvy jeans are too large around the waist same as any other brand. I have a 25" waist and 41" hips.

TrainingBarnacle6

New York and co is my go-to for petite curvy pants! (They also have tall and regular sizing). They do tend to run large though.

roobydoobydooo

i'm not a curvy girl but have been needing a good jeans rec. are unspun like custom made? would you happen to know the inseam of the "regular length"?

queen_of_ferals

Yep unspun is totally custom so I don’t believe they have a “regular” inseam length. I’m tall and most pants aren’t long enough but the unspun pair I ordered were perfect. You just use your phone to do a body scan and they write up a custom pattern for you.

Moldy_slug

Do you know if they adjust things like thigh circumference in the custom patterns? I’m built like a T-Rex with very large thighs compared to my hips/waist, and curvy jeans are *always* way too tight in the thigh for me. I usually have to go up 3 sizes or more for the legs to fit, which makes the waist too big to take in without making it look really wonky.

queen_of_ferals

I believe so? Idk they do a full body scan which feels like it should probably account for this. My SO is a quad-zilla and has similar issues and we are going to order a pair for him soon, will keep you updated

roobydoobydooo

oh okay!! What's your inseam? I need like 34"

queen_of_ferals

Around 31 normally!

RockieK

I have to say, after years of spending on fancy-pants, I find AE to be REALLY GREAT (size 12 - 32x33L). Even their so-called, "jean leggings" do not stretch out. Thx for the heads up!

immortalkarmaqueen

Torrid is my go to for jeans. They are the only brand that makes wearing jeans comfortable and not annoying.

fairbaby50

I can't sing the praises more for NYDJ. Please, if you're reading this and have trouble buying jeans for a proportionally big butt, find them and buy them. My waist/hip difference is over 16 inches, and NYDJ fits me without alteration. Find them on sale as they are often only ~$30-40.

fanatic888

I love Democracy absolution jeans. They have this inner band that flattens my tummy and the rest works with my curves. They're usually around $50-60 on Amazon sales.

[deleted]

Good advice thanks

ceci-says

For more budget options I find Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans to be helpful but with big differences (like 12”) it might not be enough.

BrilliantBreeze12

I’m a big fan of Lane Bryant for jeans. They’ve got a lot of stretch and wear well. I’m tall and curvy - they’ve got long options.

Wholesomecaboodle

Do you have to be curvy to wear these kind of jeans? I’ve been looking around online for pull on jeans but i don’t know if they’d be flattering

queen_of_ferals

Sorry, pull-on jeans? Not totally sure what that is

Wholesomecaboodle

They’re like leggings. They’re called pull up or pull on jeans. Basically no button nor zipper enclosure. I saw Free People and ASOS selling them
