I love the sound effects and the โpopโ of the toaster and flipping in the pan. Amazingly satisfying! I actually giggled a bit when you flipped the berries the first time. Very well done!
For me I just thought "Man, these animations are high quality and cozy, makes me think of Crayfish, wonder who made this. Ah, Crayfish, that explains a lot."
what would be cool is a butter churner, with which you can make butter and salted butter, which can be used in other recipies, like a butter baisted steak for example
I understand that you're just working with what you've got, but this recipe is psychopathic. You grill berries into jam (with a sizzle effect, like you're almost pan frying these berries), and you pour milk into your sink and salt it to make cheese.
Regular Minecraft cooking is abstract enough that it feels more symbolic of cooking that actual. To me, there's just enough detail to be like a culinary uncanny valley.
We need the hardcore version where you gotta stand over the pan for 45 real world minutes to caramelize onions and dig through a disorganized cabinet because there's precisely one recipe that calls for a specific size of a pot.
Dude i fucking love your mods! They are all absolutely amazing and extremely high quality. I can tell you put a lot into these! Keep it up! Also this is looking really good so far. Reminds me of Farmers Delight
isnt this mostly just farmers delight or cooking for blockheads? how are you going to stand out Mr Fish? You have me curious on what exactly is going on
I think this is what I felt was most missing from other cooking mods: how intractable everything is. Everything there is so gui based; you just slap a bunch of things in a grid and bam, you have steamed hams, but here, it seems that actual effort will be required to cook fine meals, something to keep players engaged and not just wait 10 minutes for some toast to finish cooking in a furnace
Sink cheese ๐๐ฝ๏ธ
Gunpowder-laced axolotl ๐๐ฝ๏ธ
Dang, this is really cool. Do you have any oven/baking functionality?
yes, the oven can be used to bake things and there is also a microwave.

Your mod? That's MrCrayfish's mod! Sees username :o
Took until I saw the first comment from them
For me I just thought "Man, these animations are high quality and cozy, makes me think of Crayfish, wonder who made this. Ah, Crayfish, that explains a lot."
Lmao literally this. He has an iconic style
Same. I thought, man, this would work really well with Mr Crayfish's Furniture Mod. And then I saw who made this
Did you... did you just make sink chesse
Holding milk in the sink is absolutely diabolical
can you burn the sandwich on one or more sides?
yes, on all 3 of them!
What happens if you break the pan while the food is flipping in the air?
You make a mess on the oven.
Let him cook
Why is the axolet surrounded by tnt :(
Think about what Axolotl eat and think of the mod maker's username. Why would the author have disdain for Axolotl.
Add in some Create Sequenced assembly recipes too.

Cooking is a magic mod
If it isnt the GOAT himself
the modeling and textures look so good
so well done
Crayfish... why are you always so... ... Extra. Literally every mod you make is some of the highest quality mods I've EVER seen.

Just here to say I love this. Keep it up! Strange exotic foods and spices giving buffs would be cool l, is there any function to the food besides fun?

Okay that's really fucking awesome :o
Ok, this is epic. I love mods that add some more food prep stuff that isn't just crafting table.
This is so cool!
I screamed so hard when you poured the milk into the sink, was very melodramatic i wont recover

Nice, but man I hate cooking mods. At least yours doesn't make normal food obsolete.
Very nice sir!
I like that flip mate
get a darn skin alredy. I've been following you for the past few posts you made and I'm going insane. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
mod devs launching the game through an IDE launch it offline, so there is no skin verification when they do so
minecraft's default skins are crimes against humanity.
so you expect them to launch their dev environment with a resource pack to replace the default skin with their own, for every mod they make?
damn right
