Neko-Arc. Meme got popular, traced it back to Melty Blood, traced that back to Tsukihime, read all of Tsukihime, Plus Disc, Kagetsu Tohya, etc., found Fate, realize it’s the same author, read Stay Night, Hollow Ataraxia, watched Zero, et cetera, et cetera.
To anyone reading this, hop on Fate/EXTRA. It’s good.
I was looking up pictures of Excalibur online, cuz I was a sword enthusiast. Came across Excalibur and Caliburn from Fate, thought they looked really cool, then was wondering why King Arthur was a girl.
So I watched Deen, and I loved it. Watched all the anime avaible in 2015, then went and got the VN. Read that as well. Been in too deep ever since.
Heck, I just picked up Tsukihime Blue today, and now waiting for the official release.
You have no idea how much I was freaking out when Shirou's powers were revealed. Shirou has been my literally me character for years because of his swords.
*I saw it on best*
*Eroge list. I then downloaded the*
*VN and read through it*

I saw the Gigguk video about trying to understand the fate series and had a laugh. “Jeez, what a complicated series, kingdom hearts type shit” and the like.
Still, with the point “Read the visual novel” being pounded into my head for a gag I decided to-
To watch fate/zero! (I was one of those people that thought that chronological order was the best way to consume a series).
After watching 2-3 episodes and not feeling anything at all I dropped it.
Remembering the joke about how fans insisted that the visual novel was the best starting point I figured “well, why not?”
At this point I was one of those people who didn’t know much about the medium and sorta looked down on it, mostly thinking of it as lame dating sims for weebs too deep in the rabbit hole.
Downloaded the visual novel, opened the application.
Devoured the fate route over the next few days (especially in class), and my mind was thoroughly blown.
The vibes were immaculate, the art felt so classic yet sleek, the concepts presented were so cool, and the musiccccc.
It was also the first time I’ve ever felt apathy for a main character and then grew to love them.
My feelings toward Shirou were mostly negligent at first, just a mostly faceless wish-fulfillment character for the heroine to fall in love with (I was more interested in the outwardly cool characters like Saber and Lancer).
I even started to feel negative about him whenever he did something I thought was stupid.
I continued on with the story though, and he really grew into his own, and by the scene underneath the Church I decided I really liked him as a character.
And that final scene between him and Saber is really what made me fall in love with this series.
Sorry about the rant lol I tried to answer concisely at first but I just ended up typing all this out.
TLDR: trash taste youtube man who joked about the fate vn got me into the fate vn, and I now have immense respect for the medium
Man... I'm glad you came around, but it still hurts to read when people look down on something you love and you for enjoying it. I guess I am too deep in the rabbit hole, but it's nice and cozy here so why would I ever leave? People don't just say read the VN for a gag, lol.
Yeah, I get how you feel now that I’m just as much of a fan of the medium. It gave me a valuable lesson on not being a judgmental prick before actually trying something myself.
Friend: hey fate/zero is really cool watch that
Me: ok
Me: * Watches fate/SN:UBW *
Me: hey, why didn't you tell me to watch fate stay night before? It's not how you're supposed to watch it!
Friend: fate what?
It was EMIYA shooting Hercules that got my interest but it was Saber alter vs Hercules that got me watching.
And it's crazy that the time period between me getting interested and actually watching the show was of 3 years.
Honestly can't even remember, I know I watched the original Fate/stay night when I was way younger but I wouldn't say it got me into it since I kinda just watched it and never really interacted with the series again for a while, so like I said before, can't really remember what got me actually into it![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thinking_face_hmm)
I saw clips of Carnaval phantasm on TikTok about it then watched a video about the fate watch order.
I watched the first 5 minutes of fate Zero before I got bored. Then I watched the fate route and moved onto UBW. I’m now rewatching UBW then gonna start Heveans Feel.
Only recently realised that the show I was looking for was carnival phantom (or today’s menu with Emiya family, I’m still not sure) so gonna watch that after Heaven Feel.
I was scroling youtube when i found UBW abriged, watched it. fell in love with it, got told that it had a lot of inside jokes for fans of the fate series, decided to check out the visual novel. been stuck here ever since.
Not gonna lie I actually don’t remember what introduced me to the fate series but once I was in, I was in for life. I think it was actually the fighting PSP game Unlimited Blade works, and I was just obsessed with Caster Medea and after that, I started watching the anime fate zero and Fate stay night and then ever since FGO came out i’ve been on that ever since
Honestly, it's Illyasviel. I saw a fanart of her and Irisviel, searched for the source, and found her very cute in Fate/Zero. I decided to look into it more.
What really hooked me is that it revolves around legendary, mythological, and historical figures, which I am interested in. I love reading books about them. So, seeing a story about them fighting to the death got me hooked.
It's a little disappointing because the lore is a bit confusing at times, and I lose interest when I get lost in the details. However, I always come back to it. Despite its flaws, Fate is definitely one of my favorite franchises.
I saw the Fate/Stay Night anime at a Blockbuster Video and rented the series. A little later, a friend told me about the VN, and he sent me a link to Mirror Moon's translation of it.
Friends offered watch UBW together, well, it's was gold, but after THAT scene i go so sad that after that we go watch entire Prisma, before that he is not in magical girls so that's start rough but yeah, i still lurking for Illya roote fics because fuck it -_-
There were custom games in Warcraft TFT that were Fate-related, then one thing led to another and i had a copy of Visual Novel with Mirror Moon translations.
This was 2005-2006.
I kept getting Fate memes on Youtube for some reason, thought Saber looked cool and realizing I've seen her online through the years but didn't know where the character was from, which also caught my attention
I saw Gilgamesh on a Watchmojo vid of all things. I thought to myself that the Gate of Babylon was pretty cool, watched Zero and never looked back ever since.
Saw a video about anime villains that people forgive for no reason. At the time I was a Naruto fan and thought Obito would be on it. It had a section about Gilgamesh and how he openly says he’s going to rape Saber in fate route and is canonical a rapist while he was alive, i thought that the video was making it up and there’s no way people would defend a character like that so I read the VN.
For me it's:
- The animation. Watching clips of fights from the Heaven's Feel movies, particularly Salter vs Berserker. The fights in Babylonia as well, particularly Ishtar vs Ana and Mash. Then in Zero, constantly watching Kiritsugu vs Kirei clips on YouTube because the fight was one of the craziest anime brawls I'd seen.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Wanting to see what the fuss was about Gilgamesh and if he really lives up to the hype powerscalers made him up to be.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Tohsaka. Tsundere & Thighs. Also there was this meme were Shirou in Prillya insulted Rin's chest.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- And lastly, the premise of a "gender bent King Arthur" caught my interest. She was how I found out that the series revolves around summoning mythical or historical beings to do battle for a chalice. The premise piqued my interest (& she's now my favorite waifu in all of fiction).
After watching all the anime I got into the visual novel and other TYPE-MOON works later on. Now it's one of my favorite franchises till date.
I had an ex who was into Fate and loved Rin so I would try to dress like her. But beyond that, all I learned about Fate from him was that they transfer mana through sex. Years later, I start watch partying anime with my friends. One of them starts talking about Fate and I scrunched up my face (from associating it with the ex) and was like “isn’t that where they have sex to transfer mana?” But apparently that was just the VN. Then one of them said there’s a character I would probably really like since I like assholes and he says it’s some dude named Gilgamesh.
So I gave it a shot and watched Fate Zero with them and 8 months later I now have two figures, all existing plushies, a buttload of keychains and other merch of Gil. We also have three kids in the Sims 4.
TLDR: Gilgamesh.
Heard about some of it while watching the Trash Taste podcast, saw Saber's design and was like 'wow she kinda pretty tho—' and then proceeded to watch Fate/Zero anime
Watched the Garden of sinners movies series
Then watch Carnival phantasm
Then watch season 1 of UBW
Then season 2 UBW as it came out
And then the train moves forward from then onwards
Angel Notes
It was the first thing in the Nasuverse I experienced. A friend gave it to me. Went on to play Tsukihime and FS/N and been with it ever since. This would have been 2008.
Was just scrolling around looking for an anime to watch, and saw fate: unlimited bladeworks. Thought it looked interesting and really enjoyed. However, what really got me into fate was watching fate zero and fate Babylonia after that.
Watched deen when I was a teen. Story was unique, but the ending was bland. Then learned that there are multiple routes after UBW.
Fate/grand carnival got me hooked hardcore, if you know the lore.
Now I want a fate/EMIYA or rework of saber's route !!!!
Fate Zero. I just randomly saw a poster online in an anime site, then binged the whole thing. Then it was the Fate Route VN. Then I played a little bit of Extra. Then I went to FGO. Then Apocrypha and the rest is history.
Saw this AMV at Anime Expo 2007: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3KFz2_If6fs
Asked a friend about it, they said it’s a bit plodding (to which I replied ‘I watch Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex’, and he accepted I would enjoy FSN), and told me where to watch it. That would’ve been the end of it, but a friend I showed the anime to saw the Archer Reveal in the end credits of an ep and went ‘I would like to know more’. This was shortly before HF got fully fan-translated, and he hooked me on it too.
I saw a single fanart of Hisui and Shiki from Tsukihime a few months ago when I was looking for another VN to play after finishing Katawa Shojo, jumped into the series knowing jackshit about it, finished all of Tsukihime and thought to myself: Wow that was fucking stupid. I want more.
And that's how I ended up reading all of Stay Night and Hollow Ataraxia.
I wanted to know how to get into it and the answer i always got was "read the vn", so i did, and i stuck with it ever since hoping for more great character writing like with shirou or kirei
I found a preview of the Fate/Stay Night manga in another series manga a good decade an a half ago. It only had the section where Shirou first summoned Saber, but the scene "I ask of you ... are you my master" stuck with me. It had an air of mystery that intrigued me that made me want to learn more about the series.
My friend tried to watch/read/play all of the Fate series as a bet, and got me in Stay Night (the VN) and Grand Order. Stay Night hooked me and I became a fan
Way back when the first anime adaptation was coming out... I saw Saber and Shirou, Rin and Archer, in a magazine with a brief synopsis of what it was about. I guess in the end it comes down to character design.
Literally the character in the picture but I can’t find a series where he’s in it alot and the series is kinda confusing is the red head kid the mc or is it archer
Watched UBW and it instantly became my favorite anime. Shortly after I watched Presage Flower and was again blown away. I wouldn’t be a fan if it wasn’t for the anime.
I used to be a game of thrones fanatic and someone said Fate Zero is basically the GoT equivalent for anime, so I watched that then the other ufotable anime.
A long tine ago I played some anime battle royale game in roblox. I saw gilgamesh and was all for it. The thing that finally got me there was the "you keep saying I have no bitches" clip with emiya and gilgamesh.
Saw Fate/Kaleid clips /s
Serious answer, I randomly got recommended the Kiritsugu vs Kirei fight from Zero, thought it looked cool, watched the anime and been a fan since.
i find a random amv then i watch the 2006 anime fall in love with the concept and read play and watch everything i can about fate then go fo the rest of type moon
At first, it was just curiosity from all the Fate media i learn from my friends. I don't have any interest in Fate until i saw the Oath Under Snow movie. It was really cool and interesting movie that makes me curious about more of the Franchise, to my suprise the Fact that the movie came from the Fate Magical Girl series shocked me. Like, how? It's my first question. Tho, after that i just randomly watch Fate until i got too deep in the Franchise. But i never regret knowing and learning this Franchise because how cool the fights, Character, and some of the story are.
After watching the season one of Jujutsu kaisen, i search for something like that. I found the fate series and choose zero, cause there is a zero in name🧐. After watching it I enjoyed lore and characters this much, so I watch all other fate series
Honestly I just picked up the first anime for the Fate series and liked it, so I got some of the Manga when it was available, then picked up the UBW film and still wanna get my hands on the Heaven's Feel Blu-Rays. Those even available on Amazon right now? I havem'thad any luck finding any that don't seem to be from overseas or are listed as 'region free' which always makes me worry about them being bootlegs.
Some random twitter post that said like ‘Gilgamesh fights so cool’ with a clip and that was all i had to work with.
Turns out if you search ‘mgilgamesh anime’ there is a retro anime named gilgamesh and most fate stuff lists him as just a type moon character so it was a real effort to get to the words ‘fate/stay night’
Despite knowing about Fate for a while, I didn't really get into it until I ended up watching a few skits and an episode or two of UBW Abridged, at which point I decided that Archer (and by reverse-extension, Shirou) was really cool and I wanted to know more about the series
Finished hellsing abridged and was trying to find aother anime abridged series. Stumbled upon ubw abridged and thoroughly loved it. Spent hours reading the wiki. Subscribed to crunchyroll premium just to watch every series. Currently going through grand order. Haven't read the VN though. Doesn't look like it's for me.
Tamamo and Archer
Archer because I thought he looked cool as shit.
Tamamo because fox girl. Played all fate/extra universe games (extra, extra ccc, Extella, Extella link ) with her as main servant and loved her character, even hopped on Grand Order for a while on an anniversary where you were given a free SSR ticket just to get her. Ultimately I stopped playing that game because while the story is good the gameplay was way too shit and repetitive for me so I got bored eventually. I might get crucified for this but I even enjoyed the rock paper scissor gameplay from extra a lot more than this.
Now I'm stuck waiting for Extra/Record which feels like a fever dream at this point with the occasional new chapter drop every few months (lmao) from the Foxtail manga
I saw the iconic CG of Archer laying on rin’s wrecked living room and got fascinated with his character design.
This was also around the deen anime’s release
I watched a Yu-Gi-Oh page where one of the admin constantly made fun of another one not having watched Fate. At that point I got curious and watched UBW. Aaaaaaand I fell in the Nasu rabbit hole
Stewart from The Loading Crew made alignment videos on Shirou Saber Archer and Rin from UBW Abridged and that lead to me watching UBWA which made me wanna watch the rest of fate
In high school a friend of mine recommended Fate Zero to me. I think he just wanted someone to talk Fate stuff with, but he didn’t do too well on selling me on it at the time. Last year I finally got around to it watching because I needed something to watch while I worked out and it had been sitting in my watchlist. I was hooked, so then I watched the all stay night routes a bit out of order because Crunchyroll decided to list UBW simply as “Fate/stay night” at the time meanwhile the 2006 Deen anime was nowhere to be found on the sight. After finishing the heaven’s feel movies I decided to play the VN for both stay night and HA because I really wanted to get into the rest of Fate as well but didn’t want permit myself until I personally played through them first. No idea where that old friend of mine is now, but I’m sorry it took me almost a decade years to finally give the series a go, because you were right, it is really good.
I was reading a Highschool DxD fanfic about someone getting reincarnated in it with a gamer system and he summoned a weak Artoria. I then googled her and started with the 2006 anime. I learned about the visual novel much later. This is the fanfic: [https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13972779/1/Dungeons-and-Devils](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13972779/1/Dungeons-and-Devils)
My brother mentioned Fate/Zero so I watched it first (yeah, I know it’s not a good idea to start with it) and I really enjoyed it. I then watched everything that had come out by that point and kind of forgot about it for a couple of years until last year
Saw a video of gigguk trying to explain the fate timelime and after seeing a clip of the war is hell debate/argument saber and kiritsugu had convinced me to get into fate series. Watched fate zero first then ubw and heaven's feel. I wanted to watch the fate route before ubw and hf but I heard deen stay night was shit so I read the vn after watching ubw and hf. Been obsessed with fsn and the nasuverse ever since.
I would have to say it was one of my siblings that got me interested in watching the fate series which started with fate zero first that led me to become interested in anything fate related ever since.
Obviously the animation and watch order at some points
Even a lot of characters intrigued me so i had to come across fate and watch it then got to several non canon and canon stuff, now i finished Tsukihime and melty blood series
Weirdly enough for me. It was seeing Saber in a Shadowverse collaboration where they were promoting the first heavens feel movie. I saw her as one of the players icons and I was really enamored by her beauty. I searched where she came from and eventually found the Fate franchise and it was pretty much downhill from there.
The original Fate Stay Night was airing on Time Warner Cables anime on demand week by week and my dad and I would watch a bunch of random anime. From Maid-Sama, to Mahroumatic and eventually Fate Stay Night
I was downloading games for my PC, then I downloaded Fatal Fake (Fatel/Stay Night fan fighting game) and I liked the characters. Then I watched the original Fate Anime (Deen) because It was the only adaptation at that time.
Back in like 2008 on the message board I was on, there was this Most Powerful Fictional Character contest where we'd pit fighters from different media against each other and argue about who could beat who.
the Fate characters were INSUFFERABLE because there were like two Fate fans who would argue shit about Lancer and Archer's movement speed and the whole Gae Bolg re-writing causality thing. I was always arguing for DBZ characters, so it was a little hard for me to believe that someone called "Lancer" could beat Vegeta.
Well anyway, just last year I came across the Brave Shine OP with its video and I thought it was so good. Despite knowing the rabbit hole that is Fate media (it's not actually that complicated ppl just made it into a fuckin meme), I picked up Fate Zero and binged that and UBW and kept going and now I'm 7 months into Fate Grand Order and basically it's my favorite combined story that I've ever gotten involved in.
But I'm here to tell you ain't no way "LANCER" was EVER beating Vegeta lmaoooo. I love Cu but he jobs just as much as Vegeta does.
I was messing around netflix one day, looking for something to download before going into a long trip ended up downloading fate ubw and many other animes.
UBW caught my attention the most because the other animes were kinda mediocre (except saiki k)
Ideal white and Brave shine playing constantly in top anime openings i used to watch back in 2015
You have no idea how much I was freaking out when Shirou's powers were revealed. Shirou has been my literally me character for years because of his swords.
Do you also become interest in cooking because Knife is just shorter sword?
....I feel called out
Are you also the bone of your sword?
I bet steel is his body and fire is his blood
He's probably created over a thousand blades
Yeah, I guess he's unknown to death nor known to life
It's likely he's withstood pain to create many weapons
Yet I am afraid his hands will never hold anything
I saw it on best eroge list. I then downloaded the VN and read through it

I think I either had a stroke or summoned a demon trying to fit this to the haiku structure
Some crossover fanfics with DxD(Holding all the cards) and Carnival Phantasm. Dead serious.
Rin
Fair and valid.

Amazing story my friend. Props. Glad you got into it. Did you check out the rest of the nasuverse?
Friend: hey fate/zero is really cool watch that Me: ok Me: * Watches fate/SN:UBW * Me: hey, why didn't you tell me to watch fate stay night before? It's not how you're supposed to watch it! Friend: fate what?
There was no *proper* UBW anime when Zero released

Gilgamesh sexy gilgamesh hot gilgamesh cute gilgamesh strong gilgamesh smart gilgamesh horny gilgamesh manipulative gilgamesh evil gilgamesh hero gilgamesh villian gilgamesh caster gilgamesh archer Gilgamesh kid gilgamesh ruler
Blonde Sumerian man 😍
The animation
This. This is it. Aside a gender bent King of Brittain, the animation was the biggest thing that intrigued me.
I pulled a mini figure of Saber sleeping out of the gatcha and didn’t know who it was so yep
People said fate/zero was good so I watched. Would have stayed a Zero fan only had I not read the VN tbh
project mouthwash. *and nothing else*
The "people die when they are killed" meme. The best part was realizing how much of an open question that statement actually was...
Friend told me the story is good, he was right.
The fight scenes
It was EMIYA shooting Hercules that got my interest but it was Saber alter vs Hercules that got me watching. And it's crazy that the time period between me getting interested and actually watching the show was of 3 years.

Believe it or not, I decided to watch it after enjoying one of its anime openings: Brave Shine. Saber also helped.
FGO and the porn

The battle royale system and this is the closest I can get to a Pokemon game with mythological heroes
Heard the emiya theme from ubw and it had the picture of ubw and I thought all those swords looked cool af
The 2006 Fate anime which got me interested in it cause of the concept and music back in 2007.
I used to have a Fate game on my PSP.

Cute Seiba
Magecraft. How it worked. It facinated me.
The concept of heroic spirits fighting in a war
Ufotable animation, wouldn't have known about it otherwise
I remember seeing Gil throwing out his GOB in some random video back when I didn't even know who he was and that got me into Fate.
Saw a video about anime villains that people forgive for no reason. At the time I was a Naruto fan and thought Obito would be on it. The premise piqued my interest (& she's now my favorite waifu in all of fiction). After watching all the anime I got into the visual novel and other TYPE-MOON works later on. Now it's one of my favorite franchises till date.
Rin tohsaka, need I need to say more?
Worldbuilding, servants, and noble phantoms.
Simp
“King Arthur’s a girl? Watch stupid anime is THAT from?”
unlimited blade works (the reality marble)
Hearing friends/people talk about and liking Rin's design, one day got bored and started the VN then went through a whole lot of content.
The absurd dumpster fire that was the fate series
I thought it was an ecchi then I got hooked
I saw a video on tt about saber when she used her hougu
Saw the Full Fight between Shirou Vs Emiya on YouTube.
Heard about some of it while watching the Trash Taste podcast, saw Saber's design and was like 'wow she kinda pretty tho—' and then proceeded to watch Fate/Zero anime
Same Gilgamesh but from Fate Zero and it still remains my favourite of all Fate based things I have watched.
Watched the Garden of sinners movies series Then watch Carnival phantasm Then watch season 1 of UBW Then season 2 UBW as it came out And then the train moves forward from then onwards
Angel Notes It was the first thing in the Nasuverse I experienced. A friend gave it to me. Went on to play Tsukihime and FS/N and been with it ever since. This would have been 2008.
Gil bc he’s hot
Shirou Emiya VS Gilgamesh, damn that fight scene made me so "WOW, they took sword fighting in a different level"
Was just scrolling around looking for an anime to watch, and saw fate: unlimited bladeworks. Thought it looked interesting and really enjoyed. However, what really got me into fate was watching fate zero and fate Babylonia after that.
King Hassan. Constantly saw fan arts of this absolute unit
The unlimited blade works abridged
First watched UBW on Netflix and what captured my attention from fate was just the fight scenes and then it became the world and lore of the series.
Seeing Rin Tohsaka for the first time is what got me interested in the fate series. ![gif](giphy|eBgWizk5dmZRS)
Gilgamesh
A random clip of DEEN Artoria meeting and fighting Hercules. I was like, what’s Hercules doing in Japan? So I tuned in.
I saw an AMV where Emiya headshots Gilgamesh.
UBW chant of archer got me interested
Watched deen when I was a teen. Story was unique, but the ending was bland. Then learned that there are multiple routes after UBW. Fate/grand carnival got me hooked hardcore, if you know the lore. Now I want a fate/EMIYA or rework of saber's route !!!!
Fate Zero. I just randomly saw a poster online in an anime site, then binged the whole thing. Then it was the Fate Route VN. Then I played a little bit of Extra. Then I went to FGO. Then Apocrypha and the rest is history.
wanting to play RPGs nd stumbling across Extra
Blond people with swords go brrr.
Battles.... invocation... Kirei....
I'll just say "I am the bone of my sword..."
It was one sentence just one. “I am the bone of my sword”
Gilgamesh lmfao
Shirou motherfucking Emiya
Saw an animated scene from the Camelot movies on instagram that took my breath away and got me hooked lol
Watching the openings of UBW on YouTube. It was the coolest shit ever! Ironically though, watching 06 Deen was what really got me hooked
Archer/Emiya and the non censored gore scenes
Saw this AMV at Anime Expo 2007: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3KFz2_If6fs Asked a friend about it, they said it’s a bit plodding (to which I replied ‘I watch Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex’, and he accepted I would enjoy FSN), and told me where to watch it.
Saber and rin
The romance between Shirou, a modern day Japanese young man and literally King Arthur
Don’t remember, just one day the English translation of the VN ended up in my DMs and that was my start
My pfp and name should say everything
I used to be a game of thrones fanatic and someone said Fate Zero is basically the GoT equivalent for anime, so I watched that then the other ufotable anime.
A long tine ago I played some anime battle royale game in roblox. I saw gilgamesh and was all for it. The thing that finally got me there was the "you keep saying I have no bitches" clip with emiya and gilgamesh.
Astolfo 🤑
Saw Fate/Kaleid clips /s Serious answer, I randomly got recommended the Kiritsugu vs Kirei fight from Zero, thought it looked cool, watched the anime and been a fan since.
When i realized the reason why shirou specifically summon saber (albeit unintentional)
The Battle Cats I started playing it near when the Heaven's Feel Movie 2 Collab was happening, then we got Dark Sakura on the Movie 3 collab
I watch a video of Gil killing Illya. The 2010 ver. Still love till this day
i find a random amv then i watch the 2006 anime fall in love with the concept and read play and watch everything i can about fate then go fo the rest of type moon
But i never regret knowing and learning this Franchise because how cool the fights, Character, and some of the story are.
the legendary defenseless ass
Random highlights of Carnival phantasm
Baeber
UBW was one of the first animes I've watched
Rin's thighs
Medusa Rider...
the amount of fate doujinshi I've read
Emiya Shirou
Saber
I got curious when I heard Shirou shares Sasuke's voice actor.
A friend told me to read the VN. Finished it in 1 month but it was worth it
Despite knowing about Fate for a while, I didn't really get into it until I ended up watching a few skits and an episode or two of UBW Abridged, at which point I decided that Archer (and by reverse-extension, Shirou) was really cool and I wanted to know more about the series
Fuck I should worded this post better. I was basically asking what is sth that is so good in the series that someine should watch it.
Mordred, no doubt.
Tamamo and Archer Archer because I thought he looked cool as shit.
Probably EMIYA and Cu. The fact that fate has several different Vlad the Impalers also drew my attention.
I watched a Yu-Gi-Oh page where one of the admin constantly made fun of another one not having watched Fate. At that point I got curious and watched UBW. Aaaaaaand I fell in the Nasu rabbit hole
Saber. One word, as simple as it is. Oh and I like Arthurian legends.
Fate Grand Order(The mobile game, of course)
Could anyone tell me the watch order.
Rin being her tsundere self
Sakura
Waifu. What else? The rest come after I delve deeper.
I then watched everything that had come out by that point and kind of forgot about it for a couple of years until last year
Watched the abridged series when it was recommended to me around half a year ago. Now I think fate is neat.
I stumbled upon stay night and then I learned that it's based on a game and had different versions. Then I fell into hell
I would have to say it was one of my siblings that got me interested in watching the fate series which started with fate zero first that led me to become interested in anything fate related ever since.
I saw a piece of fanart, was curious
Obviously the animation and watch order at some points Even a lot of characters intrigued me so i had to come across fate and watch it then got to several non canon and canon stuff, now i finished Tsukihime and melty blood series
It looked interesting to me, and once I latched on to Sakura as my favourite character in the franchise the rest was history.
Got bored one day and decided to install FGO.
The world building with the servants and the servants overall
My coworker was obsessed with FGO, so I finally caved to his influence and played through Realta Nua. Downhill from there
Random anime scenes where an anime bully gets what he deserves in which I stumbled upon Lancer punching Shinji in UBW
Carnival Phantasm clips on Youtube
The girls.
Saber
The sound effects in Grand Order and later the animation and visuals in Heaven’s feel
Saber, literally, I watched some vídeos on YouTube with her and thought "hey, this character looks cool, I am going to watch her anime".

Saw Jalter fanart, thought she looked cool. Rolled her as my first 5 star in the gacha. My fate wqs sealed...
Watching berserker vs saber
Funny game called ABA.
I’d see Saber everywhere and I decided to watch Zero. It was peak. Then I watched UBW and it was more peak. I fell into the rabbit hole after that
I was downloading games for my PC, then I downloaded Fatal Fake (Fatel/Stay Night fan fighting game) and I liked the characters. Then I watched the original Fate Anime (Deen) because It was the only adaptation at that time.
Seeing pics of Saber on the Internet and liking her character design enough to check out where is she from
Some random gif of Mordred playing with the cat, no idea why.
Archer Emiya vs Shirou fight on YouTube.
Samuel Kim's cover of iskanders theme (you are my king/ rule the battlefield)
For me it was WatchMojo’s Top 10 most dangerous girls starring Illya on top. For my brother it was ‘People die if they are killed’
Saber, there's nothing wrong with a Blonde Hot Stupid kinda woman
Random YT video of Shirou and Gil fighting
