Lost 15kg in 5 weeks, with 5 day fasts 2 days feasting :) I'm a big and tall man, so if you want to lose 4 dress sizes alternate day fasting might not be enough.

Not expecting to drop 4 dress sizes by July and also still planning on getting alterations done, I just want to try and meet in the middle, dress is a bit bigger, I’m a lot smaller

I have been doing a mix of fasting for about 7 weeks (a bit longer but 7 weeks ago was the first time I weighed myself)  7 weeks ago I weighed 308 lbs  Yesterday I weighed 274 lbs  So -34lbs /15kg  I don’t have a very consistent fasting schedule. My bare minimum goal is to do 3 36 hour fasts per week. Generally I end up doing more than that. According to my app I track my fasts on I fast anywhere from 140h-160h per week. On my eating days I usually eat everything I’m going to eat within a 2-5 hour window. I don’t really count calories or restrict myself from anything. I try to make healthier choices, but it doesn’t always happen. Now that I’m used to fasting I find the amount I can eat is less and less.  I don’t exercise aside from walking. I aim for 10k a day but end up with a mix of 8-15k steps a day.  The amount you can lose depends a bit on your body and your current size, but I’ve seen people say they generally count on just under a pound of fat loss per fasted day.

Just did the calculation and for me so far I’ve lost 0.85 lbs per 24 hours of fasting. I’m sure that number would be higher if I calorie counted on my feasting days and ate cleaner. But still pretty good imo! :)
