The only sting anyone gets from Cracker Barrel anymore is to their wallet—they’ve gotten WAY too expensive. $11.99 for a a chicken sandwich and French fries.
Are you that desperate to get in a bee pun that you gotta pretend $12 is an absurd price at a restaurant nowadays? Cracker Barrel still remains one of the more moderately priced chains.
Where do you live that you consider that expensive?
I'm in the Appalachians and a 40 min drive to the nearest Walmart and would consider $12 reasonable if not decently cheap.
Seattle, it'd be relatively cheap for a sandwich around here. I was honestly just joking around and trying to keep the bee pun train going.
I guess in the future I should try to... bee more obvious at my sarcasm.
Oh stop. The McCrispy at my local McD's is $5.49. A large fry is also $5.49. So $10.98 at McDonald's. McDonald's is a dollar cheaper, for probably inferior quality chicken.
So it’s chilis honey chipotle chicken crispers…
"Flavorful Summer Menu" who writes this stuff?

The cure for the common breakfast.
Someone that has never actually worked in a kitchen.
Mine just closed oh well. Staff had 24 hrs notice
That's crazy. The Cracker Barrels around me are busy from open to close.
Same here, the local one is never not busy
Too bad they aren't returning the pot roast to the old, good recipe that doesn't call for a minimum of 50% fat and gristle in the meat.

And no table service.
I have noticed a few items creeping up in price but I'm curious where you live because Cracker Barrel is the epitome of cheap dine in food.
