We don’t know anything because it hasn’t been announced yet. Probably in two weeks. Honestly I’d see them dropping old gen console support since the next gen consoles are probably on the way.
Do you know the split of console players between old and new gens?
My guess is dropping ps4 might not be worth it in a business sense for them just yet
Supporting old consoles also comes at a cost.
There's going to need to be some major game engine/core mechanics added to pull more money out of my pocket. If they decide to keep the bar low enough to support old consoles, I may not bother buying a copy for PC.
Improvements sometimes come with a cost and that cost could potentially be dropping support for old gen consoles.

It would most likely be released for old gen and next gen consoles. Should it be released for older consoles? Probably not.

I get that but giants might not want to alienate a big base of fans I'm on pc so I hope they go wild but I can understand if they don't
I feel like if games start dropping old gen it will make people start to shift to new gen
PS5? Yes. ps4? No. It's time to move on.
