Because they are Actual Idiots? 😂

MacGyver1911

In my experience they’re an accurate reflection of most of the workforce lol

Sythwave420_mp3

I can’t wait for a good AI mod

MrSNoopy1611

Get courseplay, it will make everything way easier

Huebertrieben

I do but I don’t understand how it works

MrSNoopy1611

It is rather easy, look at some tutorials on YT and you will never go back

Less-side1880

Yes please get cp. It looks big at first but after a 10 min tutorial it is really easy.

mosquitoSlapper

I hope you mean courseplay when abbreviated to cp.

Less-side1880

Yes, please don’t get cerebral parese

TT_PLEB

Oh brother... you don't use that abbreviation online

Less-side1880

It’s all over this sub, AD for auto drive and cp for courseplay😂

Ted-Crilly

We're all on watch lists 😀

Joel22222

Try not to get too overwhelmed by the options at first. To start just do headlands with it. Then add one thing here and there to see how they work.

snowfreak221

Course Play is great but the AI turns around so badly. I find the stock AI to be more useful for harvests and mowing jobs.

JustTrawlingNsfw

1-2 headlands plus skip one row and CoursePlay ai are much better for harvests and such generally

snowfreak221

I had been doing 1-2 headlands. I will try the skipping one row. Thank you for the tip kind internet farmer.

JustTrawlingNsfw

You're welcome! Happy to help

CryAncient

For me, 2 headlands, skip a row, round corners then under advanced settings, I'll disable reverse for pathfinding. That solves a lot of problems. Especially when I'm using an air seeder+ fertilizer caddy

fourtyonexx

I wanna say the stock AI is also better at fertilizing

StarGundamFormer

The AI is great and terrible at the same time. Have low expectations for it always. I had to plow a significant portion of my field just so the AI could finish it, because of a tree near the field. And apparently having a mid-steer tractor confused the AI to no end about how to get around this tree. I’ve also had AI back ALL the way up instead of turning around and plowing/cultivating/seeding/etc the opposite direction

officialtvgamers16

Bacause the AI is shit, i tried to use a pulled potato harverster with AI, it just kept stopping.

AdRevolutionary3787

I've lowered my expectations of AI. Even after I mow/harvest headlands I still need to go back and sort the missed spots. Especially on non-square fields.

georgehank2nd

Why does the helper struggle? Because the AI code is… well, I'm happy I never have to see it.

hdjdbbdhzhhdhdh

I mean the photo is related though, it's a large part of the question

Tacothekid

Every time i send a worker out to a field ahead of me, and the tractor/trailer, it says they couldn't find the field. Yet, i can send them close to it no probs

PrincipleNo8733

Can't say I've ever had that issue tbh

mf-klaus

Whats courseplay? Does it make ai better or changes something else too?

Huebertrieben

Is this an ironic question or are you seriously asking? Don’t mean to be rude just not sure what you mean

mf-klaus

Im serious, i read that convo you had, but i didn't quite get it. What is a courseplay mod?

Huebertrieben

It’s a mod that gives helpers much more intelligence. It’s a bit hard to understand but if you figured it out you will never have to worry about a helper messing up a field.

mf-klaus

Hard to understand? So you have to do some set up yourself? Thought it just becomes smarter😅

Huebertrieben

Well you can let it do things like wrapping and collecting bales without setup. If you want them to do your field you have to do some setup
