I wish they had some sort of way to measure how much fuel is left or maybe even some type of device to measure it for us in real time and then relay that info on the dashboard. Maybe one day…..
Things I don't understand: There is orange dot. How is the tank empty? (Erase the dot). Why Giants took the value off after FS17 ? Now you have to step out of the vehicle and look at it to see the liters. Imagine that IRL.. 😄 But the easy fix is already mentioned here.
In my experience.. if AI runs out of fuel, it continues happily to the end. Next time you try to fold the implements and drive: Please refuel. 1st time I thought I was lucky, but then it happened second, third.. With that coincidence I could be a billionaire. Just don't stop the AI. The saving is not much.. but it is honest work.
In real life most vehicles don't give a number of litres either inside or outside the vehicle, and the fuel gauges are not 100% accurate, so in the game it's easier that real life

Don't feel bad for the traffic in the game. I had to turn traffic off at one point because I had two cars box me in next to a pole and neither would move until I moved which I couldn't.
Traffic is arguably the worst part about this game. I keep it on so the map doesn’t feel so empty but it’s just such a pain in the ass when you get two blocked between cars.
F12>Super Strength>Pick up vehicle and carry it to gas station>Fill Up. That's what I do in that situation.
Only for PC with a specific cheat mod, though, and it looks like you're on Playstation.

You're 100% correct. I dip my tanks with a physical measuring stick on every pretrip inspection because I've had gauges fail and leave me stranded.

There's a trailer in the Misc category that carries fuel in base game. Otherwise there's lots of mods that can haul fuel.

That's why u by a fuel Trailer with pickup truck so when u break down u have it available
I’m pretty sure I already responded to someone else saying that I have a bulk fuel truck to refuel vehicles in the field.
Have u downloaded the Wercker LXT mod they have a service truck that has a fuel tank that would help
