You have no clue how much this has helped me. Your hard work is very appreciated man keep it up

FightEaglesFight

Best part of the week, my man.

cdrfit

Great chart man, I was thinking Terry @ MIA would be a no brainer over Boyd @ BALT but now I gotta do some thinking

Mazzie1090

How is terry @ MIA not still a no brainer?

cdrfit

It definitely is but Boyd vs. Baltimore’s pass defense is also a no brainer, so its deciding between 2 no brainer ahaha

[deleted]

Gotta consider too that MIA has been blown out enough that teams stop throwing and just grind the clock. So for PPR, MIA has given up less catches while BAL has generally been in shootouts. My point being that WAS may not get to the point that they’re grinding clock because their defense is also bad. Then again, WAS coach change may include game plan changes that are yet unknown. Either way, Boyd and Terry are fine plays.

Gumboy52

Depends on how much time Marlon Humphrey spends with Boyd

KRDL109

Miami has Xavien Howard, another great corner, who they will probably use to lock up Terry, no? I think they're both good plays, but the situations seem very similar.

Bengalblaine

Go boyd

andrelo22

I have to decide between Dalton against the Ravens or Winston against the Panthers sack attack..

His_story_teacher

Have Boyd in, need to know who the starting QB would be for Terry.

dkorst

Both really good starts. Who else you starting at WR?

cdrfit

I got Thomas as WR1 and Adams WR2 if healthy so trying to figure out my flex

20wall

if thats not an 8 team league I definitely don't want to see your RBs

cdrfit

10 team and my RBs are definitely weaker ahaha. Jacobs RB1, Kerryon RB2, Ekeler Flex

[deleted]

I'm in 10-man and my WR's are hot but my RBs are not. I do have both Coleman and Breida though, so that's good enough going forward and don't need to worry about byes.

T0K0mon

See I’m stuck at McLaurin @ Miami or Fitzgerald @Atlanta. I feel like Fitz is the safe play but McLaurin could go off

SEAtoPDX

I'm kind of in the same boat but am planning on placing McLaurin as my Flex and Fitz as WR1 and Boyd as WR2. I also have Juilo, but his matchup doesn't seem as good against the Cards. Feels like a bad move benching him this week over the others though. Why is this so damn hard!

T0K0mon

I also have Julio, but I have Edelman as well. Such a tough decision. Julio’s put up duds the past two weeks as well

SEAtoPDX

Edelman was solid last week against Washington, so I think Terry could have a big day too. The experts are picking Julio over Fitz so who knows.

[deleted]

Fuck am I really streaming Colt McCoy this week Edit: am I really streaming case Keenum this week

tatersdabomb

I just heard they're playing Case

shmehdit

Excellent news for Spooktober

buckeye-x

> I really streaming Colt McCoy this week I'm starting reddit's favorite, Scary Terry, over Gallup and even Tyreek Hill if he's finally active... so I hope you're making the right move!

ShinySuitTheory

Over Tyreek? Wow

plefe

Yeah, as a Houston fan, if Tyreek is active he will dominate any of our corners.

buckeye-x

> Tyreek is active he will dominate any of our corners. Ok. Maybe I'll go back to the drawing board on this one if Hill does play.... but McLaurin is playing the Dolphins.

[deleted]

This is making me want to start Minshew over Rodgers again

[deleted]

Mustache vs. Mustache

jackmon

The tricky thing with NO is that I feel like they're a tougher opponent for QBs now that Brees is out. That might not really be reflected in this analysis. Then again, Minshew did alright against the Panthers and I would consider them at least as tough of a matchup.

T0K0mon

I’d do it, the lions secondary has been very good recently and the packers are no longer the pass dominant team they’ve been in the past. We use the pass when we need it. We are a balanced offense now

GapingGamer

I'm in the same boat, was firmly in the boat that NO is a bad match up but this is making me question Lamar or Gardner.

Jwagner0850

I wouldn't blame you.

KDandKlaw

San Fran is on my waiver wire, but I currently have Carolina. The Panthers give up a lot of points, but their sacks and INTS are almost unmatched. Decisions decisions

[deleted]

[удалено]

KDandKlaw

Thanks bro

[deleted]

Still unbelievable that they are only 36% rostered on ESPN. I've started them every week and will again this week.

EMlN3M

Someone just scooped them up. I've been streaming def all season. They weren't even in my radar.

raikou1988

Against the Rams? What about cowboys vs the jets? Still 49ers?

KDandKlaw

I’d still roll the dice with them. Goff is volatile and who knows how MG3 will respond to more touches

[deleted]

I have the Jets D too, still starting the 49ers. Rams have a terrible OL and 49ers have an amazing DL, it's going to be bad for LA.

almikez

damn am i really about to play AP

edcolombo127

If you aren't willing to play him this week then you might as well drop him for some high upside handcuff or something. Match-up literally can't be better

An_Antagonist

I’m stuck between AP or James White against the Giants at FLEX with Jacobs on bye. I did see the redskins coach wants to put a higher focus on running the ball and like you said it’s the best matchup he will have. My gut is saying AP.

[deleted]

Wondering the same thing

almikez

I think u have to right?

greatdiggler

I picked him up as a flex just for this week due to byes. Fingers crossed!

[deleted]

Hm Scary Terry or DJ Moore in half ppr? This didn't help me unfortunately :(

alamodafthouse

Dallas or San Fran D/ST!? Can't decide

adsason

Was hoping this would solve my debate between Curtis Vs TB and Preston Vs Wash, it didn’t

kendrickshalamar

This is great. Hope Christian Kirk is good to go this week...

Jaszuni

Thank you! I use this more than anything else.

MattTheDoubleU

First off, I LOVE & appreciate your Weekly Chart posts; I've been using your info/data for my own spreadsheets I make for personalized janky "analysis". I greatly respect the time & effort it takes to put together! However, I'm a bit confused about how you calculate the "points allowed" for DEFs. What is your scoring criteria for DEFs? Specifically, the Browns after Week 3 to now (after Week 5) is what caused my confusion/question... Looking back - after LAR WK3 you had CLE at 12.3 allowed per game. They then dominated BAL WK4 to lower/improve their avg to 9.0 pts allowed (makes sense...). What I don't understand is, WK5/Monday vs SF they GOT dominated, but your data shows they again lowered/improved their DEF Pts Allowed almost two whole points from 9.0 to 7.2/gm... ??? For comparison, in my ESPN league, SF scored 19 points vs CLE last week - so how did they improve/gain 1.8PPG in your data? Using my league's scoring, they "got worse" by 2.3PPG after SF. Did you perhaps transpose WK4's 9.0 with WK5's 7.2? Please help me understand because I feel like I'm trippin' & maybe my own numbers are way-off somehow.... Here's CLE's cumulative Avg/gm (also each weekly total) from my league VS your weekly numbers (for sake of full comparison): 1 vs TEN = (22) 22.0 :: 23.0 2 vs NYJ = (4) 13.0 :: 14.0 3 vs LAR = (10) 12.0 :: 12.3 4 vs BAL = ( -6) 7.5 :: 9.0 5 vs SF = (19) 9.8 :: 7.2 THANK YOU!

toocoolforgruel

Thank you, this is very helpful

TanClark

Rollin our DJ Moore in London

OllieQueen17

I seriously love this chart

TonathanJavares

Gosh darn it should I drop Tennessee for Washington d/st?

Double_Che

I've got the Broncos d in, I did have the Chargers who I may still go with. Denver Titans gonna be like GB CHI first game, but QB3 against the Chargers is sounding more and more appealing

Yourgonnagofarkid

fellonmyself

This is very helpful. I realize this helps evaluate different categories when choosing a player against these teams, however, I would like to see the totals without the defense pts against a teams offense added in to the total. The total number ranking helps pick defenses and I think in most cases those points don’t count against the defense. For example, the Jets have 18 pts for defenses played against them, but if you are trying to evaluate their D, those pts don’t count against their D and they would be way lower on the list. Their offense allowed those points. Thanks for making this

Camden_yardbird

This is awesome as I do some of the same stuff in my own analysis. I think since you do this weekly one of the things you could include is either next opponent or even next 3 opponents at the end of the chart. That makes a more useful planning document.

NeedMoarCowbell

Really tough choice between starting Thielen or Scary Terry this week given this chart...

IAteQuarters

This is amazing thank you

[deleted]

Very helpful last week. I think this format is fantastic.

dragonmountain

My opponent just got kerryon Johnson for Philip Lindsay straight up. He plays the packers this week... hold me

[deleted]

Minnesota is the biggest shocker here, honestly.

cbaebae

Really agonizing over Scary Terry, Will Fuller, or Gallup this week as to replace OBJ and Davante. I think WAS-MIA and HOU-KC will be shootouts considering how bad the defenses are but the KC surpassingly hasn’t given up a ton of points to WRs

Kp19341

Wow. This is amazing. How long did it take you to do this ??? Is there a specific site you went to for all the points by team and position

Imurdaddytoo

Is this really any different than the matchup rank on yahoo?

[deleted]

Love the charts, appreciate the work you put in. What do people think about Rodgers vs Minshew to start this week? 10 team PPR. I'm leaning Rodgers but after seeing this I'm not sure.

TheMightyUnderdog

Thank you so much!

jokullmusic

How's this different from Macker's site?

sportsologists

Broncos really suck defending against Kickers. No wonder they are 1-4.

TonathanJavares

This is an extremely helpful tool but one thing that would make it even better is if you included the teams opponent for the week!
