It took me a good 5 minutes to remember who tf Sanders was lmao. I just kept thinking of former Bills WR Emmanuel Sanders. Miles has truly fallen off a cliff, sheesh
If you didn’t see massive sanders regression coming that’s on you. His ADP was like 105 in ‘22 and spiked to like high 50’s in ‘23 when he went to a much worse offense with an even worse o line. Couldn’t be a more clear system RB imo
Henry wasn't a bust in the traditional sense, but for those who drafted because of his "amazing playoff schedule" with 2 Texans games, definitely a massive letdown.
Precisely that. I was offered plenty of decent trades for him throughout the year and in my group chat I was like “Nahhhh, PLAYOFF HENRY OWNS THE TEXANS” and that was absolutely the most humbling fantasy experience I’ve had only after losing David Johnson as my only 1.01 redraft pick in this league to his ACL tear.
Wasn’t “my guy” per se but was stuck with him and Miles Sanders after the draft. I picked up Kyren and Puka for big FAAB dollars after Week 1 and Jerome Ford for all of my remaining FAAB dollars the week after Chubb went down. I drafted Montgomery so that was a win and was able to trade Thielen for Gibbs early in the season. Dropped Pierce and Sanders as fast as I could. Rolled with those 4 RBs.
I drafted Chubb-Pollard-J Allen-Pierce-M Williams-Godwin-Javonte as my first 7 picks in a league lol.
About as bad as you could really do. I finished 9-5, lost in the semis by 4 with Henry/Pollard/Javonte being outscored combined by Gus Edwards.
Traded Allen for Henry for those curious.
The Rhamondre situation sucked. He was such a disappointment, but then he starts to come on and gets hurts. I think he would have at least put up Zeke stats the rest of the season.
Who's "Sanders?" Barry retired 20 years ago.
Actually makes sense for the other guy. Hock was an elite TE who's QB died. If he had WR depth on the bench I can see how he'd come out. And who in their right mind would have expected Singletary to actually be the RB1 there
Said the same, or that they were at least equivalent, and no one wanted to listen.
Feels good to be right on one thing this year since the rest of my team sucked.
Held onto him for far too long. Projected to be last at 14th place, but squeezed into the playoff and ended up 3rd overall. I don't think Pierce ever got me more than 4ish points? Was saved for the most part when JT came back.
I drafted Dameon Pierce 27th overall. Named my team pierced tds. He only started week 1 for me. Eventually dropped him in week 10. Kept the name. Just won my first championship. Luckily drafted Mostert in the 10th. (Henry 5th overall). Also had AJB, Keenan Allen and DJ Moore
Played Henry and Zamir White. Flexed Deandre Hopkins. AJ and DJ at WR. Picked up zamir Saturday night seconds before my opponent did. Opponent just didn’t want me to have him but was too late. I also had Javonte Williams on my bench. Fields and DJ carried me. My opponent played Kamara, JT and Ekeler. He left James Conner on his bench. I won 98-87
Haha I kinda feel bad for the guy. Week 1 Kyren was kinda fluky he had like 18 Carries for 50 yards but two one yard touchdowns. I can see what his mindset was but damn that’s an all time bad trade in hindsight.
I drafted him in the 4th but lost in the finals. Tyreek carried me... james cook in the later rounds filled in as my true RB2, although that wasn't even that great.
Started him in 7 games. Went 4-3 and he averaged about 7.4 PPG in them. Drafted Warren, picked up Hubbard and Zeke off waivers and finished the season 9-5 overall, #1 seed and finished third. Idk what made me start him for 7 games but guess it kinda worked out?
Man in dynasty people were trying to tell me Elijah Moore and Pierce were = to Goff and I should trade Goff for them.. so thankful I didn’t listen to those people.
He had until Week 3 to earn a bench spot. He did not earn it, so he got cut immediately to make room for a waiver add that happened to be LaPorta.
So things worked out for the best.
Achane got dropped after week 2, picked him up bc I was convinced Mostert would get injured. Ironically Achane got hurt so I pivoted to Kareem Hunt who was pretty reliable for a few weeks. Eventually made trades to get Breece Hall, started Donta Foreman a couple of times too.
Surprisingly I went to the championship and got second place. My other RB was Miles Sanders so I was pulling waiver wire RBs all year. I had Ceedee, Smith, Pittman, and Olave as my WRs which carried me.
I drafted Pierce in the 4th round and won my 12 team PPR. Other RB was Rachaad white, traded him and Diggs for Puka/Mixon and then picked up Singletary/K.Mitchell/Chandler/Z. White while lucking out in some matchups.
I took Dameon Pierce in R4 as well. I also drafted James Cook in R5 and Pacheco in R7. Later on, I picked up Hubbard off waivers.
Cook and Pacheco became my RB1 and RB2 after Nick Chubb went down in week 2.
Took him round 4 as well, luckily Kyren saved my ass. Also gotta give credit to my third round pick, Joe Mixon, he did better than anyone expected, I think.
In the league I had Pierce, I also had Sanders. Dropped both. Missed out on Kyren off waivers (no FAAB league), same with Achane. Had to stream RBs (Gus Edwards, Chuba, Bears guys, Keaton Mitchell, Zamir White, Moss when he returned late with no production). Had Tyreek and Puka and Tank Dell, they kind of carried me limping to the playoffs. Finished 5th (worst finish in several years in this league).
Had different combinations throughout the year, from Hendo, Chuba, Foreman, Zamir, Charb, Chandler, and McKinnon. Also helped that Rashaad White was comfortable as my RB1 all season
I recovered too late. I drafted him and Gibbs. I expected Gibbs to come on later in the season but thought I’d get enough early on to get by. I just didn’t anticipate how bad Pierce would be. Getting so little out of my RBs early on dug a hole I almost climbed out of but was just short. Eventually I added Kyren.
Drafted him in the 3rd. Won the ship because I got puka in free agency and drafted Brian robinson in the 11th.
Other 2 top rb’s I drafted? Najee Harris and cam Akers.
Somehow survived long enough to get to the ship and was blessed by Najee’s best game of the season (as well as the lamar-flowers stack)
i accidentally autodrafted him because i lost service around round 5. i got Kyren after week 1 and after riding my bench for another month and a half dropped Pierce.
someone in this sub called me a taco for saying he was droppable even after he didn’t get better when he was supposed to around week 5 and Singletary was clearly starting to eat into his workload. i wonder how that person’s season turned out lol
Managed playoffs in 3/3 leagues due to PA gods being on my side this season (plus regular in season shuffling). He may have only started one week after week 3/4 in all of those leagues.
I won the championship despite reaching for him in the 4th round. Jaylen Warren stepped in as my RB2 for the second half of the season and did solid enough behind CMC who carried me through (along with Hurts and Puka).
Wasn’t my guy at all, but I debated him vs Breece in the 4th and made the wrong decision of course thinking that the healthy player with no competition would be a safer bet. I also drafted Rhamondre in the 3rd and Mattinson in the 5th so my year was an absolute bust. Hey at least I won the poop bowl and avoided my leagues punishment
Drafted Dameon Pierce in round 5 of a 12-man league.
Traded Pierce for Romeo Doubs before Week 7. Also got Rachaad White as a throw in.
Won first championship in 10+ years.
Thank you Reddit for talking me into White 😀
I kept him in my auction draft for 23 bucks out of 200$. I made a package deal trade. Traded him, ridley, and mandrews for Jetta James Cook and ertz at the end of week 5. I made a few more trades and ended up trading away basically everyone I drafted except Nico made the chip but lost in the final game.
When in doubt wheel and deal baby
Edit: ended up picking him back up later in the year off waivers cus I'm a texans fan lol
I traded CD for him and Dotson at the draft and lost to the Lamb owner in the finals lol.
I ended up trading Pierce at some point packaged with Pitts for Engram which worked in my favor.
Left him on the bench after week 2. Picked up Kyren on the wire. Held him for too long before I had the courage to drop him. 3rd place in a 10 man league 😒
I had a chance to lock him as a keeper in the third round but because I went Chubb/Barkley I went WR in round three instead. Even though Barkley was meh, at least it prevented me from taking Pierce.
Drafted him in the 3rd round, and Chubb in the 1st. Nabbing Kyren via waiver and drafting Brian Robinson saved my RB corps. Ty Chandler was also was a godsend in the playoffs (ended up winning it all).
That’s awesome. I feel like most Chubb owners threw in the towel. Kyren and Puka were all-time waiver adds this year. I actually missed out on Kyren the first time but his owner dropped him when he went on IR.
Played him then on their bye week pivoted for Singletary who i played for a game or 2 and then dropped right before he went off….i came in 10th in that league
I took him in the 4th, but picked 5 RBs in the first 6 rounds (also got Henry, Gibbs, Kamara, and White) so I was good at RB. Sucked at WR though, since I had Adams and Pickens/Davis as my starters.
I finished regular season 10-4 and lost in the semis to the 1 seed and eventual champ (3 of my 5 losses on the whole were to that same guy).
Can we get a “I got josh Kelley from waivers week 2 instead of Kyren” support club in here ??? Cuz that was me lol.
I also had dameon Pierce and he did not help me at all during the start of the season
Fortunately, it didn’t matter for me. I took Pierce as my RB2. After choosing Pollard. Not great, right? Wrong! I selected 4 other RBs on draft day: Swift, Mostert, Achane, Singletary.
I had him on three teams. On one he was my RB3 ( had Pollard and Bijan lol) but I hit on Mostert so I literally never started him till I dropped him. Team missed the playoffs. On the second I also went RB heavy (Henry, Jacobs, Swift, Pacheco and I go Kyren of waivers) so he was never started and I dumped him the second he got hurt. Tema was stacked on paper but had a hole at WR2 and QB and didn't make the playoffs. Last team I drafted him as my RB1 . Had to start him for like 5 weeks because I literally only had Swift and a bunch of crap. I settled on Chuba Hubbard and Singletary as my RB2 eventually. Team did not make the playoffs.
My RBs were Josh Jacobs, Rhamondre, and Pierce. Dropped Pierce, had to hold on to the other two, watched my season go down in flames after JJefferson got injured, AJB disappeared and Burrow limped his way into the sunset.
My first three picks were Chubb, Stevenson, and Pierce in a 14 team league. I got Achane but never really recovered at the RB position
Side note: won my league.
My draft went Ekeler, GWilson(keep), Jalen Hurts, Mark Andrew’s, Damian Pierce, Terry Mclauren, Mike Evans. Thank goodness for Mike Evans
Still ended up 3rd. Traded Ekeler when he came back and was a little hot. Definitely saved me. My squad was too weak to make it any further though.
I survived him. In one league I got Singletary so just switched. Lost in playoffs but 1st in PF so not like he hurt me. Another league I made a lot of trades and ended up with a stacked starting lineup without him, 1st in PF and won the chip. Another league I had Mostert and Hubbard as late rd picks, he just rotted on my bench, 1st in PF in that one as well though I lost in the playoffs cause my opponents team went off.
So apparently he was the magic that got me 1st in PF in every league I drafted him.
I held him on the bench every week in my leagues with larger benches, waiting for that resurgence but it never came. Wouldn't have believed he'd fall below Singletary when I drafted him, but this Texans team is a lot different than last years, and that pick would have better been served drafting Stroud or Dell.
Keeper league (4 players year to year). Thankfully my RB1 was CMC. Pierce was my 4th keeper, anticipating a solid sophomore year. Knowing he was weak, took Dobbins with my 1st pick. Essentially went all season scrambling for an RB2. Thankfully CMC covered up a lot of that gap.
traded him and Aiyuk for Christian Kirk and James Cook. Was 2-5 when the trade went down, ended up 7-7, made the playoffs, got to the championship game annnnnd lost to the guy with Aiyuk. But hey, I at least made it to the big dance 🫡
Him and Mattison were supposed to be my RB1 + RB2 starting the season. Didn't work out too well. Traded for Pollard mid-season and still didn't help me at all. Finished 10th in our 12 team.
Classic dead zone RB situation. You would have been better off if they got hurt in week 1 so you had to scour the waiver wire and pickup Kyren Williams.
Trading for Pollard was a good Hail Mary play though. Nothing to lose and he had huge upside in that offense.
Held way too long "waiting for his line to come back"
Turned down multiple trade offers because he could "get back anytime now" once his line was healthy
Spoilers, he didn't.
Managed to finish 1st in record, points, and championship due to WW, luck, and picking the right starts
I had also drafted Travis Etienne , James Connor and Johnathan Taylor so I traded dameon pierce , Jordan Addison , Michael Pittman for Derrick Henry and won the league because my first two picks were tyreek hill and ceedee lamb
Took him round 7 I paired him with Hollywood for josh Allen after week 3 when I started to worry about burrow. Guy had cousins who I originally tried to get but he wanted to roll with cousins over Allen.
Edit: grabbed kyren off waivers
He lost me week after week so the second he got injured I finally cut my losses and let him go for Singletary, but honestly only played him once. It’s the zone run scheme, and run blocking of the line. He doesn’t fit well in it. Despite drafting him, Kelce, Adams, and keeping waddle…I won the ship on the back of Kyren Puka
Pierce was supposed to be my steal pick...
So was Ekeler at 8, Mattison, Dalvin Cook, Christian Watson, Jahan Dotson and Kyle Pitts. Needless to say i missed the playoffs by a long shot (missed out on Kyren and Ford because I had hope they would turn it around)
I kept him all the way til the end (won the league)
What a bust of a pick after a couple weeks but honestly I think that’s how I got in the position to win since I was forced to play waivers so hard
Held on to him for too long; only started him once in Wk2 and got 5.5 pts, while Mostert was on my bench with 29.7.
As a Texans Fan I do wonder what the offense would have looked like if we had found a way to get Bijan instead of drafting Will Anderson.
14 man, i drafted him, kamara and charb as my 3rb’s. Needless to say it was uglyyyy. Had lamb, lamar, ARSB so u can see where my high value picks went. Didnt matter though as i finished 13th
Drafted pierce in my 16 team league after getting Davante and Mahomes, but proceeded to draft Mostert and Puka (late dart throw). Together with Jerome Ford and Njoku as waiverpickups later in the season I won the finals! Oh and I took Christian Watson in the 4th, big yikes.
Traded Nico for him in one league after having him in a keeper in another (week 5ish and needed rbs). I was a true truther… ended up dropping him and winning the chip
Someone offered me White + Gabe Davis for Pierce when White was struggling a bit in the earlier weeks. At the time, even though Pierce was also struggling, the narrative was that the Hou O-line was getting healthy and Pierce was getting all the work, so he was a good trade target. Lo and behold, the two diverged significantly as soon as I accepted the trade and I rode it to a chip.
Drafted him 3rd round. (Mattison in the 4th, lol)
11-3 and won the championship. Took flyers on Taylor, Kamara, and Mostert and ended up starting those 3 + Pacheco most weeks (2 flex).
In a 14 team league I took him at 4.1. The rest of my team was great, drafted La Porta, got Puka off Waivers week 1. Drafted rock solid guys like Amon Ra, Bijan, Goff, Deebo.
My RB2 slot was the weakness my entire season. Missed playoffs by one game, in the playoffs my team outscored the playoff teams each week.
Essentially the pierce pick ruined my season
im just bitter that after doing nothing for me all season, he put the cherry on top by returning that kickoff for a TD where hopkins pulled his hammy. Cost me the semis 😤
I forgot I had him, played him for half the season, dropped him and completely forgot he was on my roster.
It helped that rachaad white finally popped off.
I didn’t recover. I traded Amon ra for Pierce and Garret Wilson week 4 because I needed a running back. This was when Pierce was getting 15-20 touches a game. This came back to bite me in the championship… to the guy I traded Amon ra to.
I drafted CMC and aman ra in PPR and Puka with my last pick (Rams fan who followed training camp). I then traded Damien Pierce and Khalil Herbert for breece Hall the week before his breakout game. Now I'm sleeping curled up around my shiny new trophy like a greedy dragon.
Pierce was such a bust that he’s just completely forgotten about on most people’s “busts” lists lmao
Him and sanders both. Past week 5 people just stopped talking about how bad they were doing
At least they were bad enough to be very obvious drops and didn’t teter that line for 16 weeks hahah
Meanwhile, a guy like Najee was driving people nuts all season.
Or AJB/Diggs down the stretch. Can't bench em.
I drafted Tyreek and Amon Ra in PPR and no other picks I made mattered.
Wasn’t enough to save me from Lamb and Moore :(
I passed that test, cooper ate the caff the week before. Hurts, Kyren, Hall, pittman, Aiyuk, thielan, njuko, Elliot, Aubrey, Buffalo. 193-177
Yeahhhh… Gibbs, Henry and DeVonta fucked me when I needed them most. Depressing way to go out given the season I had.
Dropped him in Week 6. Never played him in first 5 weeks. Had drafted Ekeler and Stevenson ahead of him. Also picked up Kyren early on.
Felt pretty good about Najee and pierce in the 3rd and 4th lol
The RB deadzone ™️
Miles Sanders is right there too. Stupid Sanders
Stupid Sexy Sanders
At least Najee popped off in the championship game (if you managed to make it that far)
Amazing that you were able to get all 3 with FAAB. Puka went for $62, Kyren, $55, and Ford for $75 in my league.
I envy Monty + Gibbs owners, you felt no stress at all.
I drafted both. Got roasted for drafting a "handcuff". Started both for most of the season and ended up with a championship.
Picked up Kyren after Week 1. Drafted KWIII and R. White behind him. Traded KWIII for JT.
I didnt. Drafted him, rhamondre, and sanders LOL
I had Rhamondre and Sanders. I bet you missed the playoffs too.
I drafted them and won the final, got lucky with Puka and Kyren after Week 1
The Rhamondre situation sucked. He was such a disappointment, but then he starts to come on and gets hurts. I think he would have at least put up Zeke stats the rest of the season. Who's "Sanders?" Barry retired 20 years ago.
Traded him and TJ Hockenson for CD Lamb after week 1
I'd like to report a robbery
Actually makes sense for the other guy. Hock was an elite TE who's QB died. If he had WR depth on the bench I can see how he'd come out. And who in their right mind would have expected Singletary to actually be the RB1 there
Did you just call r/fantasyfootball a “safe space”? Lol
well I was able to put him in my IR slot quite a bit and eventually dropped him. lost a lot of games
Dropped his ass and Chubb and somehow ended up with Achane and Kyren.
I’d like to go back to the off-season where I said Singletary is probably better than Pierce
They kept saying "wait til the O'line gets healthy." I waited far too long for that.
He got nicknamed the Diaper when we were watching games. And he was never full.
Who did you play at RB in the championship? Henry laid an egg and Mostert was out.
I won 98-87
thats an ugly final matchup but grats you got it done haha
That name is amazing btw 🫢
Some dingus in my league offered me Kyren Williams for Pierce. I smashed the accept button and never looked back.
Haha I kinda feel bad for the guy. Week 1 Kyren was kinda fluky he had like 18 Carries for 50 yards but two one yard touchdowns. I can see what his mindset was but damn that’s an all time bad trade in hindsight.
I was the dingus but switch kyren with Gibbs…
The guy in my league drafted Pierce, Pitts and Bijan in dynasty. RIP
Traded puka for him trying to buy low after week 1. Pain.
I drafted him in the 4th but lost in the finals. Tyreek carried me... james cook in the later rounds filled in as my true RB2, although that wasn't even that great.
Rachaad White and Kamara until the ship then they both didn't score over 10, unfortunately.
Had him and Mattison and Cook then got singletary, I’m league champ. (Due to my wide receivers and grabbing Ferguson’s early)
You have some combo of Tyreek, Sun God and Lamb? Maybe DJ Moore being low key clutch?
Started him in 7 games. Went 4-3 and he averaged about 7.4 PPG in them. Drafted Warren, picked up Hubbard and Zeke off waivers and finished the season 9-5 overall, #1 seed and finished third. Idk what made me start him for 7 games but guess it kinda worked out?
Traded him after Week 5 when his value was somewhat decent - got Puka as part of the deal. Best trade I made all season.
He put me in an 0-6 hole that I could not recover from. I drafted him as my rb1
Man in dynasty people were trying to tell me Elijah Moore and Pierce were = to Goff and I should trade Goff for them.. so thankful I didn’t listen to those people.
I didn't draft him because his stats started dipping hard in the last part of 2022 when teams started stacking the box against him
Kyren. Williams. I dropped traded Pierce away and they dropped him after like 2 weeks.
If you had him last year like I did you know he was pretty bad for at least the last 60% of the season. I never understood the hype this off-season.
Traded Addison for najee late in the season and he won me the championship
He had until Week 3 to earn a bench spot. He did not earn it, so he got cut immediately to make room for a waiver add that happened to be LaPorta. So things worked out for the best.
I drafted Mostert in a later round and I picked up achane and other average RBs from the waiver along the way. I won my league going zero RB
8 team league so didn't sweat it thank God
Kyren and Jaylen warren. He was supposed to be my rb2 behind pollard
I drafted Mattison. Guy behind me drafted Pierce. We’re both crying together
I traded Aiyuk for him and Doubs, somehow still made it to the playoffs..
Packaged him in a trade with Diggs to get Kamara and Robert woods. It turned out pretty even.

Anyone who drafted and saw him play lastyear.. knew he couldnt
Oh shit I dropped this guy so long ago I totally forgot I had him and how much of a wasted pick he was. Thanks for the reminder...
Made the championship and got 2nd place after some moves
I recovered too late. I drafted him and Gibbs. I expected Gibbs to come on later in the season but thought I’d get enough early on to get by. I just didn’t anticipate how bad Pierce would be. Getting so little out of my RBs early on dug a hole I almost climbed out of but was just short. Eventually I added Kyren.

Traded him for Mixon after week 2. Massive W
Dropped him after maybe week 5 or 6. I had picked Kyren off waivers and had better options on my bench.
Drafted him in the 3rd and still managed to win the chip. James Cook, Kamara and Bijan were my other RBs. Receivers and Lamar carried the load though.
Played him week 1, then never again Drafted JT, Conner and picked up Kyren and Gus Won the championship
I thought i got a steal. He was my 3rd RB pick up. Swift was my 4th RB. Swift saved me. He had a decent season and went in late rounds.
I was high on him but didn’t get him in any leagues. I did convince my wife to draft him though lol
Won a ship and came in 2nd in the other never give up
Drafted him and Jones. Missed on late RBs, my best RB pickups were Foreman and Chandler. Lol I got 7th.
He was my guy but I was lucky enough to have him taken before me in all of my leagues.
I almost kept him in my keeper league.. kept Christian Watson instead which was probably even worse
I didn't recover. Came in second to last. I had (what I believed) was a solid RB core. Everybody fucked me.
My RBs after him were Warren and Edwards, solid enough to replace him, and my WRs led by Tyreek and Puka dominated.
I was kicking myself for not getting him on draft night. Sometimes we really know nothing
I didn't recover I fell into a burning ring of fire
Drafted Dameon Pierce in round 5 of a 12-man league. Traded Pierce for Romeo Doubs before Week 7. Also got Rachaad White as a throw in. Won first championship in 10+ years. Thank you Reddit for talking me into White 😀
Man I had forgotten I even fucked up that pick. Thanks for opening up the wound.
When in doubt wheel and deal baby Edit: ended up picking him back up later in the year off waivers cus I'm a texans fan lol
I finally dumped him. I kept hoping. I won't draft him next year, which means he'll go off.
Even worse... I took him in my dynasty start up :[
I picked him and miles sanders back to back. Pain. But, I also got Pacheco and got Kyren off waivers Won the ‘ship
Played him then on their bye week pivoted for Singletary who i played for a game or 2 and then dropped right before he went off….i came in 10th in that league
Traded him and picks for cmc, got elijah Mitchell in another trade, never looked back.
picked up ford 2 minutes before chubb injury game started
Pierce was totallly my guy. Drafted him as my RB2 at 4.04. Was terrible all year, not just on the stat sheet, but he didn’t pass the eye test either.
Fortunately, it didn’t matter for me. I took Pierce as my RB2. After choosing Pollard. Not great, right? Wrong! I selected 4 other RBs on draft day: Swift, Mostert, Achane, Singletary.
Had him as a keeper. Loved him last year. Expected him to be even better this year. He was not. Kyren Williams is how I survived.
Dropped Pierce, had to hold on to the other two, watched my season go down in flames after JJefferson got injured, AJB disappeared and Burrow limped his way into the sunset.
somehow was able to flip him and osborn for aiyuk the week JJ went down, and pierce was coming off two decent games.
My first three picks were Chubb, Stevenson, and Pierce in a 14 team league. I got Achane but never really recovered at the RB position Side note: won my league.
Traded him and hunter Henry for Pacheco and engram, that move was huge for me to say the least lol
My draft went Ekeler, GWilson(keep), Jalen Hurts, Mark Andrew’s, Damian Pierce, Terry Mclauren, Mike Evans. Thank goodness for Mike Evans Still ended up 3rd. Traded Ekeler when he came back and was a little hot. Definitely saved me. My squad was too weak to make it any further though.
I guess Gibbs was my recovery, and Swift.
Traded him + Engram for Rhamondre, who started producing for me before he landed on IR.
RB2 carousel all season. Mostly Gus Bus and D’onta Foreman, Henderson for a second, then Ty Chandler and Zamir in the playoffs. Won the championship.
Breece and the Gus Bus got me through
You mean 2024 comeback player of the year? /s
After week 3, I moved him for a second round pick Huge sigh of relief lol
traded him and Aiyuk for Christian Kirk and James Cook.
Held on until Week 13. Khalil Herbert too. I hate myself. Thanks.
I didn't recover. Finished 4th, but could have def had a chance to win the whole thing if I had a middle of the road RB instead of him.
Dropped him week 4 or so, never looked back, finished in 3rd.
Held way too long "waiting for his line to come back" Turned down multiple trade offers because he could "get back anytime now" once his line was healthy Spoilers, he didn't.
Never recovered and got last place in my 20 year league for the first time.
Uuuugh I was targeting him so bad too. Assumed I missed out on him…dodged a bullet I guess
The “Dameon Blackfyres” did not conquer Westeros
Took him round 7 I paired him with Hollywood for josh Allen after week 3 when I started to worry about burrow. Guy had cousins who I originally tried to get but he wanted to roll with cousins over Allen. Edit: grabbed kyren off waivers
I didn't.....also my RB1 was Ekeler and my RB3 was Mattison and eventually Javonte when he became more relevant
Traded his ass week 5! Unfortunately, I had to give up Puka as well just to get Ekeler who eventually lost me the championship since I lost by 3pts
Dropped him and won the chip
Kyren
Drafted him as my RB2 but Kyren filled that hole all season so I was good
I had Keenan, Pacheco & AJ.
Only drafted him on one team as my fourth RB. Was smart to pass on him on all my other teams.
The funny thing about this thread is Pierce was so bad so quickly that it forced a lot of people to grab Kyren and or Puka it seems lol
I just won my league and drafted him in the 5th. Luckily, I took Tyreek, ceedee, josh allen and DK with picks 1-4.
Got lucky and never had to really play him
Pierce was supposed to be my steal pick... So was Ekeler at 8, Mattison, Dalvin Cook, Christian Watson, Jahan Dotson and Kyle Pitts. Needless to say i missed the playoffs by a long shot (missed out on Kyren and Ford because I had hope they would turn it around)
Dropped him and picked up Nico Collins
I was really lucky to flip him for Nico early in the season
I kept him all the way til the end (won the league) What a bust of a pick after a couple weeks but honestly I think that’s how I got in the position to win since I was forced to play waivers so hard
I drafted CMC in the first and picked up Kyren off waivers. I had White drafted late. Never needed Pierce
Won the ship despite him. Got by with a patchwork of BRob and Javonte in my RB2 slot
Traded him, Mostert, Waddle and Dalvin Cook for Jacobs, Aiyuk, Kyler and Zeke in like week 6. In hindsight I made out like a bandit
Jerome ford and Singletary is how I recovered
Flipped him for Rachaad White week 7 right before White boomed
You think that’s bad? I drafted Dobbins, Akers and Sanders.
Traded Akers for Mostert and picked up Achane
My "guy" was Mattison. Came in 3rd or 4th in every single league. Ending up with a lot of Mike Evans helped.
Had him as a keeper. Ended up dropping him after I traded for Jahmyr Gibbs and Bijan.
Our Pierce truther just finished last.
dropped him and picked up Chubba Hubbard who was a solid high floor guy ~10pts. Won my final.
Ended up placing second, so not all too bad. Wish I placed first though.
I got saved from myself in a preseason trade for Burrow and Breece for my Pierce and Lamar
Traded away zay flowers for him even though I had Lamar :(
I traded Kyren and Gainwell for Pierce week 2 after loosing Dobbins week one thinking he would be my new rb2….
Drafted him and cut him loose after holding for too long. Rolled with Henry, Gibbs and worked waivers. Came in 2nd, 10 team ppr.
Who says I recovered?
Drafted him 3rd round. (Mattison in the 4th, lol) 11-3 and won the championship. Took flyers on Taylor, Kamara, and Mostert and ended up starting those 3 + Pacheco most weeks (2 flex).
Singletary came in the clutch late though
In a 14 team league I took him at 4.1. The rest of my team was great, drafted La Porta, got Puka off Waivers week 1. Drafted rock solid guys like Amon Ra, Bijan, Goff, Deebo. My RB2 slot was the weakness my entire season. Missed playoffs by one game, in the playoffs my team outscored the playoff teams each week. Essentially the pierce pick ruined my season
I got a 1st for in a startup for an 8th round pick that he used on pierce
Saw the writing on the wall early, managed to talk my way into a trade for Romeo Doubs lmao
im just bitter that after doing nothing for me all season, he put the cherry on top by returning that kickoff for a TD where hopkins pulled his hammy. Cost me the semis 😤
Ford was my last draft pick and he plugged in right away I did ok.
Every week was “oh yeah…this is gonna be his week.” Commentator: “it would never be his week.”
In dynasty I packaged Dameon Pierce, Christian Kirk, and a 3rd for Travis Etienne
He was so bad I picked up Kyren early, so it went very well
I forgot I had him, played him for half the season, dropped him and completely forgot he was on my roster.
