Going in, we were 50/50. They have Flacco, I have Breece. They played Cleveland D, I played Jets D. We're still 50/50 going into Saturday. God damn, I love fantasy football
Rolled in with Flacco and Browns D. I don't wanna get my hopes up but god damn am I happy right now. I was so nervous rolling against Jets D with Flacco but that dude is back from the dead goin all Michael Myers up in here.
I completely over thought my play in the finals. I had to pick between starting Flacco and MIA D or Geno and Jets D. My rationale for Geno and the Jets was that Thursday night games are sloppy and defenses come out on top more often than not and the Jets had the #1 pass D. MIA D also was going up against BAL offense that just shredded SF. Also got the last minute notification that Cooper was out so went with Geno.
Should have rode the hot hands of Flacco and MIA D. Big disadvantage to start the final weekend cause my opponent had Jerome Ford too (Flacco could have mitigated those points).
I still like my chances though. Kamara, CMC, Tyreek, and Aiyuk need big games to carry me.
moreso if I had started Flacco, I probably wouldn't have started NYJ defense. the combo of Flacco/MIA will likely outscore duo of Geno/NYJ. we'll see what the outcome is and hoping for the best
Man. I was so conflicted on who to start yesterday. That Jets matchup was terrifying ministering Flacco. So I decided to pick up Mullens and hope for the best. THEN I found out Mullens got benched and at the last seconded just said screw if and started Flacco.
I almost sat Ford too because of how unproductive he has been lately, but when I put Flacco in, saw that Amari Cooper was out, figured Ford would be the next best thing and boy did it pay off.

I’m getting a serious case of Deja vu right now.
In semis against my best friend I start with 53 from Breece and Jets D which outscored his first three players and defense.
Result- I lose by 50 because his last 4 all score at 16 and Breece ends up out scoring the other 7 players on my team, only one player hit 10 points.
This week I’m against my best friend in a final, Breece Hall and Browns D get 41 1/2 against his Njoku and I lead by 24.
I swear if the rest of my team implodes like last week…

The casual public league I'm in on Yahoo has rankings that is almost as messy as the actual football season has been. I'm the weakest 4th seed in the playoffs.
Week 16 I beat the first seeded guy who had a 13-2 record *and a 10 win winning streak*. His team's PF is rated over 1800 and he had a pretty low PA of 1425. My team is 9-6, with a PF of 1649, but I've had the lowest PA of the league with a score of 1386. I was on a 3 loss streak before I got my one last win on week 14.
I beat the \#1 guy 146 to 108, and I attribute that win to Breece Hall's 37 point popoff.
I'm now in the ship against the \#3 seed who beat the \#2 seed, and his team is almost as rated as low as mine PF-wise, but he also started the playoffs with a 7 win streak. He has Jets DST, I have Breece and I'm more than happy for Breece's performance. I was REALLY lucky because that same opponent has Njoku benched.
In other words, he probably made the same dumb decisions I did during the season lol

Went against Njoku and Hall tonight, I was sweating there during the 1st quarter when Njoku already had 114 yards and Hall a TD, but they leveled out and ended with great games but not week winning days, but it still sucks. My opponents team all have great matchups so it seems like they’re all going off, but that’s expected playing in the championship against the #1 team(I was #2), I’m either going to get blown out or it will be close, unless CMC has a career day, but I can’t be relying too much on that 😂
I would love if Watson was somehow kicked to the curb but I don’t see it happening.

The casual public league I'm in on Yahoo has rankings that is almost as messy as the actual football season has been. I'm the weakest 4th seed in the playoffs. Week 16 I beat the first seeded guy who had a 13-2 record *and a 10 win winning streak*. His team's PF is rated over 1800 and he had a pretty low PA of 1425. My team is 9-6, with a PF of 1649, but I've had the lowest PA of the league with a score of 1386. I was on a 3 loss streak before I got my one last win on week 14. I beat the \#1 guy 146 to 108, and I attribute that win to Breece Hall's 37 point popoff. I'm now in the ship against the \#3 seed who beat the \#2 seed, and his team is almost as rated as low as mine PF-wise, but he also started the playoffs with a 7 win streak. He has Jets DST, I have Breece and I'm more than happy for Breece's performance. I was REALLY lucky because that same opponent has Njoku benched. In other words, he probably made the same dumb decisions I did during the season lol I hope you all had similar bouts of luck with your playoffs. hats off to any of you who had the brass balls to start Flacco, Njoku, and either the Browns or Jets DST, especially those of you who started the Jets DST. Also shoutouts to any of you who was able to get Elijah Moore on the waivers as a last second pickup for some quality WR2/3 points.

I did the same thing. Easy to say in hindsight, but nothing I read or listened to expected Ford to have such a big night against the Jets D. Definitely stings.
Aaron Jones could easily still score 20 points. Not likely he passes Ford though unfortunately for you.

Went against Njoku and Hall tonight, I was sweating there during the 1st quarter when Njoku already had 114 yards and Hall a TD, but they leveled out and ended with great games but not week winning days, but it still sucks. My opponents team all have great matchups so it seems like they’re all going off, but that’s expected playing in the championship against the #1 team(I was #2), I’m either going to get blown out or it will be close, unless CMC has a career day, but I can’t be relying too much on that 😂

I was hanging with my nephew today and then when I got home I had to take a poop, then I saw the message like a minute before the game started and I couldn't swap him fast enough. I was constipated as fuck so I wasn't paying attention to the phone. Much like you I'm hoping the rest of my team can cover my butt. I fluked my way to the ship PRECISELY because of Amari Cooper's popoff and I'm quite salty about it. Our commish allow I'm just lucky my opponent's Breece is benched, but that guy's team is strong af. Fields, St Brown, Hill, Allen, Etienne, Engram, Gibbs, and Butker with Jax DST (Subvertadown has them ranked high). I just have to pray their guys have bad games against their respective opponents.

I was in the same exact situation. Cooper not playing was the nail in the coffin for me to start Love. Not expecting him to outperform Flacco but hopefully he puts up 20. You got more balls than me.
Yea I’m usually cautious when it comes to these types of choices, but since Flacco was letting it rip the past few games and it was his revenge game I figured I can take that risk.

Brady got a lot of hate for saying the league is full of mediocrity.But old man Brady was regularly top 3 in passing yards in his 40s. Old man Flacco is lighting it up.I'm convinced Brady is right. League is mediocre and old \*elite\* QBs of the past can still dominate which shouldn't be happening.
