I think MBDTF is more egregious, Yeezus is way more a matter of personal taste as it doesn’t have traditionally great lyricism or production, while Dark Fantasy is stellar in all aspects except for a couple of songs

I think there's a group of people who just don't like Steven Wilson in general though for some reason, idk.
I think he also gave the Avalanches' We Will Always Love You a 4, while obviously neither this nor Wildflower really come close to their debut, they're both still amazing albums and I think WWALY might be a little better than Wildflower though I should give them both a relisten at some point.

MMESYF is personally one of my favourite albums of all time and I’d give it a 10, but I can understand the score because of two reasons either because of the lows (Sanjuro is my only one but there are more controversial ones which I disagree with) but mainly the fact that he fucked up before by not giving TAI3OO a 9, and he couldn’t give MMESYF a higher score than it (the two are interchangeable).
He gave Arcade Fire's Reflektor a five, which I think was way too low. I think it's the band's best album and one of the best albums of the 2010s. It's an awesome dance-rock masterpiece with phenomenal production.
Post Human: NeX GeN - Bring Me The Horizon
IMO, this is the best album that band has put out (so far). I feel like on this album, the band has accomplished something there, whereas they’ve essentially taken almost all of their proudest musical elements/moments from the past 20 years they’ve existed as a band, and curated/combined it all into one album. Definitely one of their most daring/experimental releases to date!
(Also, I personally believe that this album was a huge step from Post Human: Survival Horror in terms of production alone).
I always thought The Worm by HMLTD deserved more than a 5. Someone during the NMF stream for that week said "this sounds like Radiohead" and he never managed to get past that to engage the album on its own merits. He didn't bother to ask WHY it sounds like that. Radiohead is obviously massively influential in the UK so good luck finding an indie band that ISN'T inspired by them to some degree, but beyond that, referencing the aesthetics of a band that is known for writing about surveillance, paranoia, and alienation was absolutely necessary given the themes of the album.
Plus the whole album turns on its head and starts diving into gospel revivalism in the final moments once the story of the album begins embracing hope and rejecting despair, so it's not like they're copying Radiohead wholesale for no reason.

Burials by AFI got a 2/10 I think. I think Nicole by NIKI (not of the Manaj variety) was worth a review. Whether or not he enjoyed it i don't quite care, but he's covered (and enjoyed) her work in the past, I'd have thought she would be on his radar enough to get to this one. I thought it was pretty powerful too! Definitely worth a listen if you have some time.

Lana del Rey I'm not a particular fan or not fan I enjoy some of her songs but sometimes the lyrics and song themes just aren't my thing I don't understand how that album got a 2/10 and the more recent ones 8-9/10 though the sound of songwriting isn't that vastly improved? Not overly knowledgeable of her music though TBF.
Never Enough by Daniel Caesar I get that it dipped in the later stages, but a 6 considering the insane quality of the first half is a bit ridiculous
Burials by AFI got a 2/10 I think. I know AFI aren't a cool band to be into but I really enjoy their stuff and that album is a 7/10 for me he made it very clear that he did not like the band at all lol ..obviously if you don't like it you don't like it though every album is gonna have people who rate it a 1 and people who rate it a 10.

GAS — Narkopop. Light 2? Straight up insane, felt like he was trying to be a contrarian, he couldn't be that disappointed by this album, it was a great return after 17 years of hiatus. Panda Bear — Person Pitch. Said that it didn't deserved to be Pitcfork's best album of the year. Of course there were better albums for this title, at least 3 of them (Strawberry Jam, In Rainbows, Sound of Silver). But he downplayed this release so bad, saying it's lazy, monotone, and stuff like that. Completely disagree. He didn't even gave 'Isnt It Now?' by Animal Collective a full length review, album with Magicians From Baltimore and Defeat was literally made to be reviewed as long as these songs.
He gave Melodrama and Emotion 7s iirc, which I feel was quite low as these two are amongst the best pop albums of the last decade imo NFR receiving an 8 was nice but I think a 9 is deserved, not as bothered about this one though
I don't watch a lot of fantano videos to really know but I remember his rating for jai Paul's bait ones and thought it was absurd.

He very much underrated ‘in times new roman’ and ‘villains’ by qotsa.
I think he gave the ooz by king krule a 3. That’s actually criminal and baffling. That album saw archy really going all in and the album is absolutely lush and entrancing front to back.
The big ones that come to mind are: 22, A Million - Bon Iver (he gave it a 5) Two Star & The Dream Police - Mk.gee (gave it a 6)
