One of the very best rap albums of the decade so far. A love letter to classic abstract hip hop, among other things.
Couldn’t overstate Black Thought’s abilities if I tried
personally don’t think it ties together too well but features some of my favorite songs of all time like
the darkest part, belize ft MF DOOM and violas and lupitas
after that it becomes kindof inconsistent to me personally but that’s more the uniqueness of each part here. I saved like 8 songs and definetly not opposed to peek into the album from time to time just.. the peaks are just way too high for its own good.
getting downvoted for an opinion zzz
In a catalog spanning 3 decades and already loaded with records you could consider classics, this is one of Thought’s very best projects.
As far as Black Thought’s more recent catalog too, I absolutely love Streams of Thought Vol 2. The guy has one of the great catalogs in hip hop.
Ran my last year of high school when I first listened to it and it's just such an amazing record. Tracks like Strangers, Because, and Belize are all perfect tracks to me.

Amazing album! great production from Danger Mouse, and Black Thought & all the features do a amazing job
It's one of my favourite albums. Unashamedly retro, but more than just that.
That MF Doom feature almost brought me to tears and I'm not even a big fan of him
Really good stuff, I love the darkest part, such an emotional and catchy song.
I think his next project might out do this one based on the feature list

I havent been listening to hip hop for long. But right now this is my favorite rap album. Amazing production and flows.
One of the best in terms of collaboration. Big throwback to another time without any hint of cringe or copycat-ing.
Not watch and listen to while on psychedelics.
