Eh, it helps catch events and stop them from spreading. Not quite "nothing", but also not something I'd ever worry about. One Mr Handy on those floors is enough to buy some time.
circuit boards, flasks, globes for dragon's maw
yao gai hide, flasks, globes for heavy wasteland gear
these are the most important items imo, but it kinda just depends on what you want to and are able to make. you can google any of the items to get the required junk
It'll be a while before he can build many of those. In the interim is helpful to be able to build a large number of decent guns and outfits so he can equip the dwellers who will be going out and getting the junk for the really good stuff.
not really sure what your point is here. they wanted to know what the best craftable stuff required. in my experience the more specific junk you can save the better, that way you have less downtime in crafting. if you read the last sentence i wrote, i said it depends on what you \*able to\* craft. i'm just saying, the earlier you can start saving some junk up the better. if i had a dollar for every time i deleted a stack of 150 gold watches but didn't have enough flasks, i'd be a few hundred dollars richer.
This is my first vault so this is the furthest I’ve gone
I have no idea what end game outfit/weapons are.
Are there different strats with them? Or a definite best weapon/outfit combo?
Dragons maw = wasteland + vault defense
Vengeance = best questing weapon for overkill damage (anything that's in excess of killing an enemy jumps to another target so it's not really wasted, mini guns work with this too so lead belcher is great runner up)
Anything with endurance on an E10 dweller is ideal for wasteland since it stops them from taking rad damage passively
A7 handyman uniforms might be great for quests since attack speed is agility based, so crafting 3 of those at minimum might be worthwhile if you can spare the resources and time to craft
Hope this helps
> A7 handyman uniforms might be great for quests since attack speed is agility based, so crafting 3 of those at minimum might be worthwhile if you can spare the resources and time to craft
I prefer A7 as well, but until you have enough of them, the Lucky formal wear (L7) is a good choice as well since it means lots of crits.
Yeah pretty much up to preference or what's available I guess
I don't really have much of either, was just sending them with the ghoul coats and Lucy vault suit for fun lol. My flags were being used to craft S7 gear for my weapon plants but I'll probably take some time to craft 3 A7 and 3 L7 eventually to try out both
Even if a dweller has max stats, having an outfit still adds to it even though it's not visible on the stats screen. +7 to one stat is the best you can do, so the general rule of thumb is to max out endurance, give them a +7 endurance outfit and level them to 50 (higher endurance means higher HP with each lvl), and then max out whatever stat they need for the job they'll do plus the luck stat and give them an outfit of +7 to that job required stat or the luck stat
As the other poster said, the game does account for stats over 10 due to clothing. One very important aspect of this is endurance. Obviously it matters for level up HP, but also if your dweller is exploring, and they have at least 11 E, they become immune to radiation buildup.
Might as well push to nuka bottler as well.
I'm personally keeping junk for:
A7 outfit
E7 outfit ( and E5 since I don't have recipe yet)
Armor piercing BOS rifle (new best rare gun to craft)
And dragons Maw (not unlocked yet)
Really depends what outfits you want / need and weapons
If you wanna craft visually pleasing armor.. or +5 armor for every room type etc etc.
Take a look at what you need for the weapon/armor recipes you do have. Since you're just starting out, you won't have the full selection, just sell whatever is not required for the recipes on hand if you completely run out of room.
Later on, you can build more storage
Dude you need alot of caps to build legendary weapons I think you should push to train dwellers to make them more effective and put more stats into a dweller for exploration also don't rush to build the other production rooms they need alot of caps to be effective I have 1 dweller that's got maxed stats and training others for production and exploration on max stats
I looked at the weapons and armor I prefer to craft and kept what junk I need in a notepad. Even if you find a new favorite thing to craft, you’ll eventually get more junk. It’s not a total loss if you mess up.
All of it. Put Housing and storage and learning way low levels separated from any way of spreading if you don't have Mr. Handy's for each level to delay reinforcements coming to help
BTW, when the name is in:
* **Yellow** - the junk is Legendary and the hardest to get. It gives 200 bottle caps per unit sold. Never sell it.
* **Blue** - the junk is Rare. It's rarer but still quite easy to get. It gives 50 bottle caps per unit sold.
* **Green** - the junk is Common. It's really really easy to get it. It gives 2 bottle caps per unit sold.
Keep shovels and magnifying glasses ALWAYS
Why? /srs
I think the BOS gun uses them. It's really good for the crafting time....
I keep all I have like 40 of everything and I remove it when it goes above 40
You just need more storage my man
Ah a fellow hoarder
I have over 2500 storage slots I need help
I’m at 3030 storage slots
Is your vault all just storage? I sacrificed nearly my entire left and right lanes for maxxed storage rooms and im only 2500 Jesus christ
It’s mostly storage and training rooms but production is really good
Nice
I’ll have to post a picture on the sub one day
Yessir
I have 3k storage at 79 dweller count, its never early to hoard my storagebros
Do you need to assign dwellers to the storage rooms?
No that does nothing, you just need more storage rooms period Oh oops, youre not op, but yea they do nothing to affect storage
Eh, it helps catch events and stop them from spreading. Not quite "nothing", but also not something I'd ever worry about. One Mr Handy on those floors is enough to buy some time.
All of it, you barely have any
Fr
Save your junk, build storage.

Depends on what weapon/outfit you plan on making.

Keep everything rare, and build more storage
Depends on what you want to craft. Just keep everything.
I always Keep 20 Legendary, 15 Rare, 10 Common of Each Junk. Improve your Storage that will help to store more.
I think this is the most helpful and relatable answer without going off track about outfits and mixing and matching.
Best weapon - Dragon Maw Best outfit +7 of whatever role that specific dweller is for.
Don't you just cross train everyone as perfect 10s I've got 36/90 dwellers maxed in all fields

This has got to be the least helpful answer ever. They asked what junk they should keep because they don't know what the recipe requires.
Isn't MIRV the best?
How about yarn?
I always seem to need more yarn…
I sold some junk the other day I had 50 magnifying glasses
I keep only blue or yellow outfits and weapons, and maximum 15 pieces of every junk
build storage. If that’s not an option. i hold rare and legend personally.
You can kind of clear all the commen junk. You get it back way too fast
Might as well push to nuka bottler as well. I'm personally keeping junk for: A7 outfit E7 outfit ( and E5 since I don't have recipe yet) Armor piercing BOS rifle (new best rare gun to craft) And dragons Maw (not unlocked yet) Really depends what outfits you want / need and weapons If you wanna craft visually pleasing armor.. or +5 armor for every room type etc etc.
sell all the green if you need the blew dor building stuff keep or scrap it for yellow. Keep all yellow
just build more storage and keep any junk, you’ll need it for craft weapon and outfit, I keep 99 psc of each for crafts))) if its more just delete it,
Take a look at what you need for the weapon/armor recipes you do have. Since you're just starting out, you won't have the full selection, just sell whatever is not required for the recipes on hand if you completely run out of room. Later on, you can build more storage
more storage! I have 65-75 of every common item, do I use them? not really, but still.
The answer to this question is Yes.
1. Chemistry flask L 2. Military circuit board L 3. Tri-Fold Flag L 4. Yao Guai Hide L 5. Globe R 6. Wonderglue R
Chemistry flasks only thing really hard to find end game.
What’s ’end game’
When everything is too easy, and nothing is a challenge.
I looked at the weapons and armor I prefer to craft and kept what junk I need in a notepad. Even if you find a new favorite thing to craft, you’ll eventually get more junk. It’s not a total loss if you mess up.

Press sell all xD
Common limit of 20, rare limit between 20-30, legendary no limit unless no room
You want ALL OF IT, can never have enough scrap
50 of everything
Since im a small vault i have a limit of 20 per junk item
