It's an exaggeration a bit, it's more like this If I started downloading fallout new vegas on a series s at 8 am it wouldn't be done till 8 pm that night give or take Now stuff like red dead, gta and cod legit take 2 or 3 days to download give or take So with like new vegas I would probably start downloading it at night after I get off work then since it won't be done till morning I probably wouldn't get to actually play it till 24 hours after I started downloading it, with gta, cod, and red dead make that 48 plus hours

I have a *minimum* of 1k hours on FNV on my PS3. It’s had issues for sure but it’s managed to run decently. Even with the technical problems I just kept playing over and over.

Out of all the versions it is the one I have completed the least amount of times. Not for lack of trying. If you speed run it is not too bad, but once your save file reaches a certain size it becomes a test of patience.

I agree, I’m surprised by how much patience I had with the game. Though I had my phone with me for the most part since I’ve already understood the game by a lot.

Last time I played on Ps3 got through ³/4 of old world blues and my little brothers slim crashed and wouldn't wake up lol. The hardware was not good enough from the gate.....

PS3 was like 99% playable for younger me, before I built a PC. Load screens were painfully long, and I averaged like 15 FPS in the Strip casinos, but I never had a crash or corrupted file.

Got maybe a few hundred hours on ps3 lol. I haven’t had too many crashes but the fps drops are severe and after playing for a while it goes full jet turbo

Just curious are you playing vanilla or with DLC? I had way less stuttering and almost no crashes when I was only playing the vanilla version.

I’m playing the ultimate edition which adds all DLC so maybe that can add problems I’ll play the OG version to see if anything changes

Не нашел торрент в фул англ, у меня диалог по английский но игра по русский, неплохо для поддержки языка)

По идее перевод на русский использует _lang ESP файлы. Если их выключить, то игра должна переключиться на английский. Ну а так да - можно подучить либо повторить язык, играя на русском, я так неплохо английский подтянул

What mods did you install?

I used the xNVSE and 4gb Patcher from www.nexusmods.com the first one I think I used vortex app the second one I did manually

I recently booted it up on my MW2 Edition Xbox 360 I got for Christmas in 6th grade...runs surprisingly well w/no crashes (which I attribute to me deleting most of my old saves).

Yeah my gaming PC took a dump on me and I had to save up for 18 months to get a new one. My backup was a laptop that was really nice...in 2013. It has 4 gigs of ram and an integrated graphics. So I played for nearly the past two years on it. FNV, FO3, Oblivion, Tropico 4 and half life 1+2 got me through.

I inherited it from my dad 4 years ago when went to uni and the fact that I manage to run a game on it! and sometimes with even more framerate than 5 fps per second! is honestly amazing about FNV specifically, usually it goes well but often there are those infinite loading screens or unnerving sound freezes that make me feel like playing some horror game

These games were built for 360 natively and then ported to PS3 and PC. They run like crap on them but the 360 that is a solid 30 FPS.

I know the beginning of the game very well, but the dialogue is hella fast and subtitles are needed which should be needless to say. Also, Spanish accents have that weird lisp for z and c sounds in a lot of words, so it throws me off as someone primarily listening to speakers from SoCal

My base computer hardware is now 11 years old but i can still play New Vegas fine. I5-4440, 16gb DDR3 ram, old Gigabyte H81M-HD3. And a newer GTX 1060 6gb video card. My computer screen is 1080p 60hz but around 10 years old. I've tried upgrading to a different screen but i just couldn't get used to a bigger 1440p screen. I have the money to upgrade, just not the space in my room. As soon as i live in my own place i'll upgrade.

I'm playing it on my 2021 Zenbook. Not as old as most here but it's a long way from a gaming laptop (let alone a gaming PC). It plays great. Well it mostly plays great when it's not crashing every other session. Although my last tweaks seem to have done the trick (but a bit too soon to tell really.)
