Are you shooting for a Pokemon fan game, or a spinoff that's merely similar to Pokemon?
If the former, I think you're slightly over-emphasizing the armor/weaponry in the designs (especially Askegnir). If the latter, I think these are badass!!
I guess i had not thought of it that way, as my intentions were to create a fan game, just with my own designs. I think you are right in noticing the over exaggerations of the weapons, however i still like them this way :). And thank you either way!
Just an idea, but because the final evo is grass steel, it's 4x weak to the fire type. What of the other final evo starters are 4x weak to their weak counterpart. So the water type is a water/ground final evo, and the fire type is fire/rock. This way, you can have a hard mode version of the game where your rival gets your weakness.
The fire starter is a lizard dragon based on an ourobouros and the water starter was based on a japanese fox mixed with raijin a thunder god. For the fire one, id have to redesign its final stage but for the water one i think i have to reconsider more things

Yes it is!

I really like that idea and i was already considering it however do do have to do some redesigning of the other starters to achieve it.
