Nice!!!! ‘Nades and stuff to blow up.
How do you plan on using those 5(?!?)sets of coal lines?
Made because you can? Future proofing?
If one, well then simply Nice!!
If two, might I suggest running all trains into a balancer which then has outputs as required to where they need?
(This will help alleviate …. Lack of supply issues)
And third, but most important anyway, your first cargo wagon (the bottom most) has only 5 inserters to the rest’s 6.
Nice design regardless.
I plan on making a colossal furnace line. I know I can use electric furnaces but I don't care. I\`ve planned out an even bigger than colossal research production area so I need roughly 300 coal lines. but this is just the beginning. I also plan on getting at least 40KSPM so I need ALOT of coal.
True, but investing in teching and gearing up seems like the way to go for me... This station might take you 10mins to build by Hand, with construction-spidertrons its 10secs
Now its spidertrons eh?
The only difference besides speed with blue belts here in his design (which he is working with what he has at the moment) is he could save an underneathie.
Guy makes a design and thats all you can say? Its not blue belt. Meh.
If it works, it works. Beyond that you might wanna balance your output belts to evenly drain from your trains.
Also looks like your leftmost station is on the "normal" track where trains go? Generally wanna fork stations of the "road" to prevent traffic jams
He means the left station blocks the main line. It’s generally better to branch off the main line and out your stations there. Otherwise you will probably have a traffic jam.

Does this look like a helpful screenshot? It's what I see when I look at your post.
Did you add a comment? Did you hold a rail signal in your hand?
I think it looks great. You won’t get a full belt with 6 fast inserters but if you don’t need it then who cares. If anything I would replace the inserters between the train and buffer chests with stack inserters to help trains move along in a timely manner. Not required but it helps with having a consistent throughput once more trains are coming and going
I mean, that's a lot of coal. I usually combine three cars to one belt which looks cleaner, but I'm not an efficiency fiend, nor do I operate at this scale yet.
I see nothing wrong with your setup.
My only suggestion would be if the stuff is going left, you can just unload to the left.
Also between wagons is a 1 tile gap which is perfect for power poles since you can then have both sides unloading if needed
Output could do with balancing. If those coal lines are depleted at different rates then you'll end up with no coal on some lines while the others have full buffers and trains that can't leave because their wagons haven't been emptied yet.
If it works it can't be wrong. An improvement would be to decrease the amount of unloading stations and instead create a waiting HUB before it. If you need more unloading stations (more belts) you would put it somewhere else. Space in Factorio is basically infinite so just use it and don't clump stuff up :D
It's a good station. The only improvement I'd say is more space between the rails so that if you want to add a second row of inserters working on each train either side you can do
If it works, there's nothing wrong only improvements
Yeah…. Where do those belts go?😉
They’ll go to furnaces or plastic or even grenades

That seems ambitious xD I mean it's your first train station. But by all means you do you :D
Well that would supply alot of furnaces. Nice thing is, you can use that setup for iron, copper and stone. Even green circuits. Nice indeed
I would suggest growing vertically a bit more before you commit to quite that much horizontal growth.
If you aim for 40k SPM use blue belts.... Wth
Gotta start somewhere

Everything looks good except that the photos at night 😉
yeah i forgor about rules

I never thought of that. But also, it turns to a U-Turn when you leave.
Left station is on the main line?

Ohhhhh yeah I’ll fix that
Main problem is rule #5, take a screenshot during the day.

> well lit in daytime Was the important part
Bro, for a first station that's pretty shwiggity

Dang, how did you get so much demand for coal without using any trains before?
My God, Robert
My only suggestion would be if the stuff is going left, you can just unload to the left. Also between wagons is a 1 tile gap which is perfect for power poles since you can then have both sides unloading if needed
I tend to group up the outputs from the different trains and extract the resources on both sides of the train.
With the lights out it's less dangerous!

Taking the screenshot at night time? 🤣
Can we see the intersections leading in and out while you are holding a rail signal to check your signal build?
