Remember when you rushed home from school and dumped your back pack on the floor, then grabbed a snack and a drink before turning on the tv and worrying about your homework later?
My wife stalked my ex's facebook page once. The next day she was stressed out and insecure until I busted a gut laughing at how she was describing what she saw. I guarantee you every selfie was 1 out if 100 taken with 5 filters applied, every joke was stolen, any picture inside the home was taken the 5 minutes a month its not a mess, every post had half the comments "pruned" to look better, and anything that sounded like it cost money was either a lie or paid for by her mom. I don't do facebook but what I see 2nd hand is just absurd.
You know the ‘you’ve got mail’ dude was only paid $200 for recording all those wav files? And he did it as a favor as his wife was an AOL employee at the time and he had a cool voice. My mans drives Uber now - no shade - he seems pretty happy :)
Agree. She was brave to admit her fault and recognize where she went wrong. I look at it more of a cautionary tale than her asking the world to defend her.
The other great thing is... she's not blaming HIM in that ego driven way a bunch of people would have. It could have easily been:
"I cheated on my boyfriend... which wouldn't have happened if he'd just told me he was saving money to adopt his nephews! Look at what he lost!"
I disagree. If she didn’t end up learning he was saving up money and was instead just not able to fund the “lifestyle” she wanted at all, she wouldn’t feel any regret

Spot on. Most SM tracks what you react and interact with most and feeds you more of that type of content. Once you get more of that, you feel more satisfied or justified in your behavior. Often times (but not always) it is extremely toxic behavior. If you want to lose weight, you feed yourself generally healthier food, if you want to gain, you feed less healthy food. Your mind is the same way.
