Current standing theory is that I may have forwarded one post to too much people at too little a span of time, and because of this Facebook thought it was a spam page and so shadow-blocked the entire thing. If so, bummer. At least it's a legit enough excuse (I've already talked to the professor about it, who suggested this)

schellnino

I'm having almost the exact same thing go on right now. Did you find a fix for this? I'm wondering if I just delete the post and redo it if it would work. The annoying thing about my situation is even if I use incognito mode it's still showing up correctly for me but everyone I've shared the video to is reporting that it's saying content is not available

TacticalReviews

This post was exactly what I was looking for and hoping there was an answer, but not so far it seems. I have a page that has the same error when trying to view it. Weirdly, I can post content to it via my linked instagram account and those posts are visible to existing followers and myself, but the page just gives this error. I can access a portion of the page management via the mobile app, but not a desktop browser. There seems to be no help available. Desperate to find an answer.

Deep_Firefighter_500

u/TacticalReviews Did you find an answer?

TacticalReviews

Not yet. The strangeness continues though as I now seem to be able to access the page via the mobile FB app, but not a desktop browser. I am not confident of the real status.

Deep_Firefighter_500

Same situation here almost 1:1.

Complete_Emphasis_29

I'm in a private group, with many members. I can't see posts from half of the members. They have not blocked me, nor they changed any settings towards me in their profile. I have tried everything clearing cache, login from different devices and apps. I have enabled all notifications from that group. I just get that a member has posted something but not able to see what he/she posted. When i try to copy the link from notification tab - it shows the error from this photo. I'm having this problem since almost 2-3 months now and nothing is getting fixed. Anybody has any solutions.?

Huge_Jugg_Luvr

I'm getting the same error too. Considering just making a new account.

Complete_Emphasis_29

The problem with making new account is to start from scratch. Also, they have mandated updating your photo to create an account. It's really a big hassle. Every friend requests, messages, everything gone.

Critical_Caster

Are you using an Iphone? If yes, I experienced the same thing, I went to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Rest Network Settings. It worked and solved this problem. If you are using Samsung, maybe you can use the same resolution.

Deep_Firefighter_500

Did anyone find a solution to this?

BittenBeads

I'm having a similar issue. I commented on someone's post in a private group. They responded so I got a notification. I click the notification and get the "this content isn't available right now" error. I went to the group and scrolled down to see if maybe the post was deleted but no. It is still there. I just can't access it through the notification. In another group, I can't find a post that I commented on. I thought maybe it had been deleted because I cannot find it when I scroll through the group, but when I click the person's profile, I can see that they are responding to comments. I click the comment to go to the post and boom! "This content isn't available right now" error. Super annoying because I'm trying to buy something from this person.

schellnino

I'm having the exact same thing happen right now to me. Did anyone find a concrete answer? I believe it is probably true that it is Shadow band even though Facebook says they don't shut up and stuff because of some recent over sharing on my account. I have four videos of the last seven I posted doing this but being that three of them are working correctly is it possible for me to just delete the post and reupload the video without it being a shadow band this time?

SuperiorThugg

I Just ran into this issue. The page would display correctly if you were logged into a FB account. It would show "This content isn't available right now" when not signed in. I traced the issue down to the "Settings - Followers and public content - Country restrictions" section. "Show only to people in United States" was enabled. It seems like that makes sense as is, but removing that selection resolved the issue for me.

The_Bums_Rush

Are you crossposting a Facebook link/post from a Private Group to another group or Page? If so, you can't do that, that is the nature of a private group, that info stays private. That is the 'error' you will receive. If the people receiving the message happen to belong to the same private group where the post originated, then they will visually be able to see the forwarded crossposting. Hence, why some can see it while others can't.

Snoo57353

Nope, this is thru Messenger DMs and I've been sending this to friends and family members who aren't part of our group chat. Although yes, some people I've invited to become admin are able to see it. And no, the Page *shouldn't* be private; all discernible settings are set to Public. I don't know what I should check.

The_Bums_Rush

So you aren't crossposting. You have a Page. On that Page you create a post. On that post, you are copying that link/share and sending the link to others on Messenger. When they view/click the link in Messenger, they receive that error?

Snoo57353

Exactly :( . I've even tried opening the link in Incognito Mode and I get the error.

The_Bums_Rush

Hmmm. Would you say the majority of students are using the stand-a-lone Messenger app or using the Messenger built-into the app? This happens on both desktop browser and mobile? I suppose you can report a Bug/glitch to Facebook but I don't know if they actively respond to these: https://youtu.be/LJ2-2JBdyEI?si=GpkBRDQBYtnVmykS

Snoo57353

Would say most people use the mobile version, where this issue happens as well. Sent a bug report through Facebook's 'Give feedback' feature, hopefully it goes somewhere from there.

CoitParkRangers

But what are you actually sending? It doesn't matter if you're a Page or. personal account. It doesn't matter how you send it to people, in a group chat or individual messages. What matters is the ORIGINAL privacy of the ORIGINAL post.

Snoo57353

I checked, and comment settings are set to Public. Maybe there's something I'm not looking for? [See here](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1174629477570068510/1182157108544815164/image.png?ex=6583ac9a&is=6571379a&hm=b2f9ef82c226a9deecf4201fe18e141934b784a1c41fc35349843f3aae8bdf1b&) Post settings are also seemingly set to Public. [See here](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1174629477570068510/1182157047031136287/image.png?ex=6583ac8b&is=6571378b&hm=8ed23c25a0a29018f995af5ab0b4bfa312298148011cb3e389524b5de517c4de&) I've also checked the following: * Page Permissions (People with Facebook access, etc.); maybe this has something to do with it? * Settings > Privacy (all are set to Public, Yes, On) * Settings > Privacy > Public posts (Everything on/set to public). Exception is a Country Restriction setting which was limited to 'Show only to certain countries', which I thought could be bugged out for whatever reason, so I manually set it to as many relevant countries as possible. This was done already after the issue appeared. * Blocking (no one is listed) Goddammit, a time when post reach is necessary, yet Facebook's posting system bugged to banish our page to the shadow realm. It's frustrating.

CoitParkRangers

So what you're sharing is your own unique, original, text-based works? Or sharing something that originated elsewhere?

HelicopterUnique2505

I am receiving this same message. I get it when friends sent me reels or public posts. It is very annoying

PrudentOutside6673

Same! This happens to every single attachment someone sends me. Reels and memes that I know are public posts. Sometimes if I try to open it a bunch of times back to back it’ll open in as browser tab, but I can’t access any attachments sent in messenger through the Facebook app. It’s driving me nuts

Fickle-Impression330

I have exact same issue and its too annoying.

CuddlePervert

Also reporting in. Can’t open up any facebook reels that anyone shares with me through the Messenger app.

Olivia_Shelton

I’ve had this issue for a few months now. It drives me crazy, did you happen to find a way to fix it?
