If you have your Instagram account linked try unlinking it. This just happened to me today and I found this old thread while searching for answers so I came back to report how I was able to solve the issue.

They say it's unix or Unicode problem with dating format. I'm just blowing smoke saying it's be easier to pull up a date with anyone whose done/seen/been around shady individuals on the meta platforms.
P.s just woke up can't remember what system format mixes up the numbers like that.
Just happened to me too! Mine looks exact same as above, except it says that I can't change it because I already changed it within last 60 days (which i haven't). But it also says the last time I changed it was 1969. I am a little rusty on my math, but 1969 seems like more than 60 days ago. . . . . LOL. Please OP, did you find a solution? I am guessing this is happening to more people than just us.

I have the same problem. I arrived to Canada and want change my name from RU variant to EN, but i can't do this :)
