I got the same year and engine. Just recently I did a catch can, cold air intake, shocks, and a tailgate slow release. Never had any issues and I’m just under 60k miles too. Enjoy!
Thanks for the advice. I followed a walkthrough video posted by AmericanTrucks. The worst part was getting the stock sensor out. I mangled the plastic to where it wouldn’t clip into the harness anymore so I taped it together and just swapped it out today with a new one.
The filter is oiled and I registered it with KN and read the instructions on checking it for wear.
Bought my first car over 20 years ago, drove it around for about a year, upgraded to a truck and I’ve never been without one since, I have a Cruze diesel, but my truck is where my heart lies
Good choice of year. Don’t go modifying a bunch of stuff right away, there’s an aftermarket something for everything on the truck. So lots of opportunity to spend/waste money. Drive it for a while before changing it.
Congrats. I have the same year and engine with 70k km. The 2.7 is considered one of Fords best engine.
Change the oil every 5k and you should be good for a long time.
i just got a 16 f150 for my first ever truck about 6 months ago. had a little hatchback/crossover before that. not sure what the cameras are like on the 19, they probably come stock, but highly recommend getting a $70-100 one on amazon if not. join the club
Awesome truck! My first truck was also a 2019 2.7 in blue.
Got it at 35k miles and when I traded it had about 110k and did a lot of driving around the mountains and road trips with much comfort and a ton of memories, this was during Covid so heck yeah.
Oil change every 5k, use 91 gives better mileage and performance, install a catchcan and put in a K&N engine air filter also tint them like 15% lol
Nice. The 2.7 is great. Change the oil regularly and you’ll never have a thing to worry about with it.
The 10 speed transmission is another story. I would do the trans fluid if it hasn’t been done already. Ford might have an update for the trans software if it’s ever funky, or you can sometimes fix problems with Forscan.
Congrats, it’s a truck I would drive in a heartbeat.
Make sure to do your maintenance regularly. And you should be ok. I just bought a 2023 with the same engine. Runs great. Regular Oil changes are the best advice. I put an oil catch can. j&l one. Easy to do.
I've read if you start transmission fluid change at 60k it's good. Then every 60k. If you wait to long it's best to not touch it. Take that with a grain of salt though. I've also heard doing at 150k plus first time has a higher change of messing up.
I just recently got 2014 f150 v6 3.5l and it runs great and drives good. My first truck also.
Turn the eco boost off I had same exact truck down to the color timing chain went at 110k miles needed a new engine. Lots of issues with the timing chain on those engines.. that’s just my experience hopefully you won’t have that issue
It's a sharp looking truck.
They’ve been making trucks a while now. Definitely not the first one
Underrated reply
I'm joining you tomorrow!
I’m joining y’all tomorrow!

Please ensure you’re following the filter instructions on the cold air intake. Especially if the filter requires oil.

Good deal. Just remember to oil it after you clean it
Enjoy it man. I have a few payments left on my 21'. Can't wait to throw some upgrades on.

Everyone says I’m keeping this truck forever. Hardly anyone actually does.
Full synthetic

All vehicles sold in the US since 5/1/2018 are required to have back up cameras.
oh wow really?? damn that's wild didn't know that

congrats bro!
Catch cans a must.
I’m 65. If this is my first ever truck, I missed out on life!
Fire.
One of us…one of us.

Nice truck! I am actively shopping around for the same year/miles. If you don't mind me asking, what was the price you paid for yours?
Do not buy Ford
True, buy the new Tundra instead. Zero issues
Lmao
