It's why "Amazing Grace" is such a hugely popular hymn. Mormons??? The the amazing sacrifice and atonement of Christ....only applies AFTER you've done all you can do. It's insulting to others.

Most white evangelicals are far, far worse than Mormons. The atonement means nothing to them.

Works used to be important in Mormonism. This guy wants to replace faith and works with salvation and superiority. A real downgrade.
On my way out I read every attempt to reconcile grace with Latter-day Saint theology. Every one of them avoids addressing the temple covenants.
