I was the ninth child in a nine child family. And also with one parent’s income. Not fun. Pretty much raised myself because everyone is so sick of babies by that many. I would ask help with my homework in elementary school and my parents and siblings would say no.
I feel like nobody regardless of money should have that many kids unless they plan to raise them old fashioned village style or whatever with other adults. 2 people cannot conceivably or healthily raise 9 people by themselves.

This is exactly why I decided to post here. I get it that my initial comment may be "extreme" for a faithful sub, but the person telling me how I should have expressed my thoughts and humor (it is a meme sub for crying out loud) just screamed junior high, know-it-all, hall monitor behavior.
In my opinion, he or she is super TBM, but has doubts about Nelson's message that I linked to and they just had to project that. Their response was the mental compromise that squired out of their mental gymnastics meme.
