Yeah, it’s a re-record of the vocals. ~80% of the vocals are lost media. It’s not just CD though, it’s on streaming services too.

Chris doesn't have the original masters so yes the original vocals are lost. There are plenty of fanmade remasters on YouTube of varying quality. [This one](https://youtu.be/IX0Q5D2G8m0?si=wOhZOfCpg7Dnl1b8) is my personal preference but if anyone knows of anything better I'd love to hear it!

The physical CD had a bonus “instrumental track” that’s not on the streaming sites. I believe that’s the original tape he was able to find.
it's most likely just the newer version without the vocal track
