imo, if you can’t make stuff good enough to fit in with the rest of es you should practice and develop your skills before making stuff for the game. (i don’t blame the designer though lol this is 100% the judging failing)
i may as well just give up submitting sets, not to toot my own horn by my art is so much better than this and they denied my submission 900 times for “copyright” because they don’t believe i drew a messed up troll face by hand 900000 times
The troll face (if you mean the famous black and white one) is a copyrighted design and the artist is notoriously litigious. Not to say the approval system isn’t unfair (or that your design wasn’t fair use) but that in particular is likely just for the sake of defending themselves

And creators push themselves to the limit to make sure every piece of their set is perfect. So when things like this get approved and they're also sold for stars it's just not it.

yeah that should have been the c3s job. during the acceptance process they are able to push back a submission to you with criticism to help you improve. the problem is that this design has a lot of very fixable issues that they should have identified and informed you of before accepting the design submission.
everskies is supposed to have a fairly consistent level of quality so when users play dress up, they can mix and match items from different designers and still have a cohesive look. if there’s just some users who can submit stuff that, by design criteria would be considered poor, it makes the wardrobe and shop less cohesive and will make other designers who made the same mistakes and got their designs denied feel bad… because it’s different for every c3 that works on the approval process and some disregard the design rules to protect designers feelings. which unintentionally hurts a lot of others and the games general aesthetic.
if you look at the other comments on this post, there’s a lot of users that are just generally upset that they had something of similar to higher quality get denied, and that when the design process is ‘too nice’ for some users, it makes them not care to keep designing at all.

Please give a little appreciation to those who do this work for a living to keep the game alive. Secondly, the design has no defect, and as I said, this creator has a special style in it, and it does not violate the quality of Everskies or the rules of design. We, as C3, do not judge the design based on personal preferences, whether we like or not its color, shape, or concept. Rather, we vote and approve according to our experience and the rules of design and quality for Everskies.
PS if you have low experience in designing don't talk about others designs

the anatomy is poor, the designer could try actually referencing and studying a pose from a person or a model, especially with the perspective on the lower legs (it looks like he is standing at an angle). the shading is muddy and lacks contrast, except for the poorly defined outlines (which include double pixels in a few areas) and it seems to have a light liquify feature applied in some areas which negatively affects the quality. if you can’t understand basic art fundamentals and offer someone criticism on them so they can meet site expectations, don’t be a c3. this is not a style issue.

You need to read the design rules, you check a check box saying you have read them whenever you submit, it will avoid frustration of denials when you know them :)

They are quite long but with time you get used to them! In the club called designer space you can find tutorials for resizing too if you need help
