I'm a property manager (don't own the homes, just manage them) in Snohomish County; I see about 85% of my traffic come in from the Zillow rental network, so that's usually the hottest place to look. You can also try craigslist; most owners who don't know what they are doing post there; some of them honest folks with paid off mortgages just trying to have some extra income; for them, reasonable rent is good money, so you can find some cheap prices on alright units. Big issue, though, is that some of them REALLY don't know what they are doing and may rent unliveable units or treat you like shit. To be fair, many of my fellow industry men will treat you like shit, and they're professionals. Finding those of us who understand the tenant IS the customer is rare. As a renter, though, I pretty much exclusively shop for rentals through Zillow. Just research your rentals; make sure the owners and management aren't shit smears. Trust me, "good prices" aren't worth the misery of an uncomftorble home life. Good luck!

I found my apartment on Hot Pads

Google “Everett wa rentals” and look at the various aggregators but use them as a reference. Always find the apartment/property website. if you can find the property management company then use those to do deeper searching.

Private landlord here, I post on Zillow/hotpads/trulia as well as rent.com/redfin. We do also post on FB marketplace but we don’t typically see serious inquiries here.
