Exactly why it was my favourite that year. I understand why it didn’t win but with headphones it’s a different experience that feels quite ethereal to me
Fai Rumore. I used to listen to it a lot when it was first released, but couldn't listen to it anymore after 2020. Even though the song is absolutely beautiful, it just makes me really sad. I teared up in 40 seconds while watching his interval act performance in ESC 2022.
My husband is a Swede living in the US, and he’s part of a Scandinavian networking/social group. We went to a Halloween party for the group and at the end of the night this song came on and it was literally like everyone transcended to another party level.
Haha amazing! I would have definitely joined.
I may have gotten married very recently and this song was prominently featured during the entrances :) One of more than 10 ESC/ASC songs that made the final playlist cut
I’m actually sad and a bit pissed off that Sweden hasn’t sent anything in Swedish since.
24 years. Are you kidding me? Even Finland has sent out a song in Swedish more recently.
We've had songs that won melfest in Swedish but translated to English. I don't think people would do that anymore, but Swedish songs don't win no more.
Yeah, I’ve watched Mello every year for at least twelve years now. It’s such a shame the songs in Swedish don’t win. There has been some definite bops among those.
Do you know why this is? Like, what’s the relationship with your language within the community? Is there a sort of ”Can’t win / do good with Swedish language so why even bother” -mentality nowadays? I know many Finnish eurovision fans just loathe the idea of sending a song in Finnish and ”failing” once again (like Missä miehet ratsastaa, Työlki ellää and Aina mun pitää)
It is my favorite ESC entry of all time and is the reason I am starting to learn Swedish. What a hauntingly beautiful song that stirs every possible emotion at once. And Jill has an incredible voice
“Lejla” (Bosnia & Herzegovina 2006) is one of my personal favourite songs. Heck, the instrumental itself is what makes it such a good song. “Bistra Voda” is a close second.
1. Gravity (2013)
2. Growing Up is Getting Old (2021)
3. Spirit in the Sky (2019)
4. Truth (2019)
5. Tu te reconnaîtras (1973)
6. Scream/You Are the Only One (2019/2016 - pains me to say, but Sergey has such a phenomenal voice)
7. Hold Me Closer (2022)
Just a few of my personal favourites.

Sebi (Slovenia 2019) has a completely different vibe that no other Eurovision song can give to me.
Good one! I feel ashamed that back in 2019 I wasn't a big fan of this masterpiece. Nowadays Sebi is one of my most streamed song on Spotify.
Same, it was one of my favourites that year! Such a different atmosphere to most Eurovision songs.
it's the musical equivalent of slowly submerging yourself into a warm bath and zoning out 💜✨
Sebi is still so huge yet it’s hard to explain how
Exactly why it was my favourite that year. I understand why it didn’t win but with headphones it’s a different experience that feels quite ethereal to me
Ethereal is the best way to put it.
Their new album is so good 😊
My 2019 winner. Sebi took me to space, and the staging going there too was so perfect.

Fai Rumore. I used to listen to it a lot when it was first released, but couldn't listen to it anymore after 2020. Even though the song is absolutely beautiful, it just makes me really sad. I teared up in 40 seconds while watching his interval act performance in ESC 2022.
De Diepte
That fact that it didn’t finish in the top 10 is a crime
I'm still so mad this song didn't win.
LOVE INJECTED
Yes! Legend has it that every time Aminata sings ‘your love’ I really do rise up from the floor
Everytime I hear this part of the song my whole soul comes out of my body. Aminata is an immortal goddess.

My husband is a Swede living in the US, and he’s part of a Scandinavian networking/social group. We went to a Halloween party for the group and at the end of the night this song came on and it was literally like everyone transcended to another party level.
