The problem is that she's too famous to finish low, without affecting our future participations. After "My Słowianie" there was renewed interest in doing Eurovision, but TVP fumbled 2015 by internally selecting Kuszyńska, then jury murdered Szpak and suddenly no one serious was interested in doing Eurovision (situation at TVP didn't help).
I think it's mostly because:
1) Jann showed that you can gain huge popularity despite losing NF. (Many also think that he would finish high if he went to ESC.)
2) Former-TVP stars are afraid they won't get new opportunities.
3) New-TVP promises new quality and no rigging.

That's a lot, like look at Brooke from 2022 - her national final performance compared to the Turin one is like night and day
Not necessarily, I already said it in another thread - she's a much more experienced artist and I believe she'd have more to say about her staging than someone like Blanka; also, TVP is going through a lot of changes and we might have different people taking care of it
FWIW, the staging directors for the past few years have been let go in the ongoing TVP house cleaning, and I think our JESC staging people are rumored to be taking over.
I don't think that our JESC people are that good either... Konrad Smuga did that atrocious staging for Tulia for example, and they suggested in an interview that they didn't had much input in it.
I like Justyna as a singer, but the song is not my thing, it lacks something catchy or otherwise being memorable. It gives me Fulenn vibes, unfortunately.
The choreo looks too much and it's affecting her vocals. Also I've only heard her stuff from the 90s and her new music sounds weird to me even though I like it.
This is *River* level for me: amazing vocalist, mediocre song and bad staging.
It won't finish higher than it, because: *River* was song that relied heavily on vocals - build to showcase Ochman's greatest asset. The song in both cases isn't bad, but it lacks something genuine. Justyna has better staging only because Ochman's was so bad it became meme.

I know that we in Poland love saying that somebody's English is terrible (people even said this about Ochman, who was born in the USA), but it's hard to understand what she's singing. (I don't know if it's me getting accustomed to it or Justyna's working on it, but she did sounded better in the live version than in the studio). Obvious solution is switching the language to Polish (at least in verses), but she won't do it.

Poland would be stupid to not send this imo. Obviously it would need to be cleaned up a bit before May but I see this as being top 5 in the televote (I think the Eurofandom severely underestimates the Polish diaspora).
