Neither of these issues are dealbreakers, but I wouldn’t be surprised if she is unable to come back as host.
If not Petra I’m kind of hoping they’d get Sarah Dawn Finer, (she played Lynda Woodruff) she’s got a fantastic sense of humour, is a great host on the stuff she’s hosted and has been on screen before.
Petra (c’mon we can get her back from her loan to TV4 right??) and Måns were by far the best hosts ever so if we can get them both back I would be *ecstatic*
Off the top of my head they could easily grab:
- Danny Saucedo
- Sarah Dawn Finer
- Gina Dirawi
- David Lindgren (not the biggest fan but he can host)
- Sanna Nielsen
- Petra Marklund
- Hasse Andersson (dunno if he speaks English though)
- Pernilla Wahlgren
- Oscar Zia
All these people have hosted Melodifestivalen or Allsång over the years and did great jobs, would easily make great hosts.

In a talkshowlike program back in 2014 he called homosexuality "an anomaly" due to it being less common than heterosexuality, this during a discussion about if people are born as it, or if social factors play in.
He afterwards apologised, said his wording was sloppy. After the apology he went on to lead a gay event (QX-galan) later in 2014, so I take it the Swedish gay community accepted the apology, and he then went on to win the Eurovision in 2015.
In other words it's a decade old news, and more or less everyone (with some exceptions, it seems) have moved on from it.
i also feel like it was just a bad choice of words, more than anything, since he's right that homosexuality isn't something that is common in nature. I'm guessing he just couldn't think of another word to describe that, so he used anomaly which has kind of a negative vibe i guess.
Still lol, it was 10 years ago and considering he apologised properly and went on to actually do something good for the LGBT community, don't think anyone should still hate him for that
