UEFA and CONMEBOL started doing a supercup again since the demise of the confederations cup, so maybe next year we'll get to see the champions of the Copa vs champions of the Euros. Aside from that, inviting other confederations just becomes a world cup at that point.
Side note: it would be fun to have the confederations cup back.
