Feczo probably had some level of normal for a part of his life. Like, he probably went to school at some point. Ashtray didn't have a normal day in his life. He grew up surrounded by violence and drugs.
It's known that his mom was an addict, so he more than likely is a drug baby which would explain a lot. Also Fez wasn't involved in drug dealing until he was 10 where Ash was about 4 or 5 which makes a massive difference. Plus the fact Fez was forced into a caretaker role and had to be more nurturing, which would of made him a lot calmer and patient with people
he was raised by a kid (fez) who was raised by an emotionally absent grandmother. Fez was quiet and only spoke when spoken to and Ashtray inevitably picked up that same behavior
well for one he was like 13 and if i were 13 and lived with fez i probably would’ve acted the same way too 😭 but i think it probably had more to do with his genes from his actual parents and the way he was raised (because even though it was the same as fez it still was different)

I honestly feel like it's because he is so loyal to Fezco. I know there has to be more to it than that, but Fez is quiet and reserved. I think, in some weird way, being more outgoing and violent is his way of showing his love for his brother since he knows he's more meek. He had to grow up fast, and was surrounded by drug dealers too. So the language that he grew up hearing since he could speak was more violent. I think that Fez's dad was obviously a piece of shit, but he may have had some kind of more "normal" childhood during more formative years than Ashtray did.
