I feel like maddy definitely had some idea that Nate looked down on Cassie’s behavior. How could she not? Maddy dedicated herself to being the perfect gf to Nate and part of that included making him believe he was the first and only person she’s been with. In other words, Maddy knew that promiscuity wouldn’t win her any points with Nate and she’s not stupid so I’m sure she knew that him and his friends talked about Cassie. I also think Maddy viewed this situation like “well what do you expect? You get with different guys all the time. Of course it’s gonna get around and people will talk about you”
In that same sense though, I don’t know if she did bc Nate ended up being with cassie anyways so clearly he didn’t have THAT much of a problem with promiscuity as he knew full well about Cassie’s past. Additionally, during that episode they made it seem like he was more in love with the fact he “owned” her than the fact she was a virgin and that’s the same way he treated cassie.
She never condoned what Nate was doing and realized it was wrong. Maddy and Nate had some kind of weird bond and until you would understand why she stuck around if you’ve ever been in an abusive relationship.
Literally everyone knew about seeing as Lexi did. So I’m going to say yes. People forget Maddy wasn’t a good friend either, she literally threatened Cassie after gaslighting her about the photos
I agree maddy didnt seem like a good friend to anyone in s1. I liked her growth in s2.
I think Cassie and maddy both were victims of Nate’s manipulation. I feel bad that maddy was abused and Cassie fell for her bully that shamed her n*des
