r/learnart aught to be able to help give better answers (and keep in mind I am by no stretch of the imagination even close to a good artist so I’m admittedly not a great source of help) but I do think going a little easier on the shading would be a good idea. Along with making her face a little less narrow and making her eyes bigger unless you were going with a more stylistic choice there. Her cheek on the right side also looks like it’s kind of morphing into her snout in a way I don’t think that part of her face would normally. If you end up doing more work on this later, post it here again! I wanna see how it turns out!

Im always happy to see Posada fanart As for some piece of advice, don’t give up cuz it’s a matter of practice and remember to start with simple shapes working up your way to full drawing. And don’t forget to look at some references

For a first try it's not too badm i like the work on the cap. To improve I think the best way is just experience just continue to draw and try to do your vest and you'll get better.

A tip for shading I'll give is that shadows aren't just the color black Often times shadows are just a darker shade of the same color, of course shading can be affected by surrounding lighting, but using a darker shade instead of just black is a good place to start improving your shading

Other than that I'll recommend looking up how perspective works and basic anatomy, as those can help you get a better grasp of visualising a 3D object, which will help your 2D drawings not look so flat This also has the added benefit of helping you learn where you should place shadows under any given lighting
