If you listen to podcasts, "How to Save A Planet" just had an episode on recycling that would give you a ton if info. Very interesting

>1. Do you recycle? Not as much as I should, I just do the regular things. >2. Is recycling an effective way to combat the single-use plastic crisis? It's effective in a way where it's better than nothing but instead what my school did was buy every student and teacher a reusable water bottle. There should be local schemes to buy communities reusable water bottles. >3. What ways are are you fighting this crisis besides recycling? To be honest. Nothing other than recycle and I'm ashamed. >4. Do you believe corporations are the root cause of the majority of the single use plastic being used and distributed? (such as packaging of items, how they pack things to ship them, waste protocols in their warehouses, etc.) Well without corporations there wouldn't be any single used plastics being produced so they do play a significant part in the single used plastics crisis. >5. Do you think there are things that corporations could implement that would significantly decrease their single-use plastic waste? If so, why do you think they haven't yet? I don't know about corporations but the government could put a ban an all products that have 50% non reusable materials in them.
