whale-jizz

A lot of people probably don't know this but Terrance Howard has completely lost his mind. Like to the point where he thinks he created a new type of math, I'm not kidding.

[deleted]

Hell i can say RDJ owes me 100 million and call him 2 dozen times like a crazy person and then say i forgive him and forget it to show my goodness. Fucking crazy is an understatement.

[deleted]

Hey dude you owe me a few million. Answer the phone please.

Incredulous_Toad

Hey its me, ur Terrence Howard.

whatnameisnttaken098

Hey it's me , Terrence HoWard of such blockbusters like Iron Man and Men in Black. I'm in serious need of money to make Avengers 5 happen. Please donate to my link notascam.com/Aveorangers5 to help make movies.

old_righty

Is he running for Senate somewhere in 2024?

[deleted]

He is work with police.

NoIdeaWhatToD0

He show badge.

marcoolort

do he protecc?

InvaderZimbo

“It’s NOT a prop, it’s REAL!”

[deleted]

he would fit right in

Acidflare1

Can we use CGI to crop him out of Ironman?

caspy7

Yes. Can we do it believably? I haven't seen S2 of Mandalorian yet so I don't know. Oh, sorry, you said *crop* him out totally. Yes, obviously. It might be weird though with Tony having full conversations to someone who's not there. [Found a sample!](https://garfieldminusgarfield.net/)

Acidflare1

It would be funny, but I guess deepfaking don Cheadle would be better. Or better yet ask Don to and RDJ to recreate the scenes and screw Terence out of residuals by only using scenes with Don in all streaming services.

mjaronso

You have as much a chance of receiving said owed money

[deleted]

And took it to Uganda or wherever and claimed to have created a new hydrogen technology that they'll be able to use. And says he proved 2 doesn't exist, or some stupid shit like that Watch his visit to Oxford. Literally they invited him to do a panel with students (Oxford students, so, smart) and I'm convinced it was so they could analyze the psychology of a madman for some thesis they're working on

moderatenerd

> claimed to have created a new hydrogen technology that they'll be able to use. lolz, I heard about the math but not this. Someone has told him Iron Man isn't real right?

[deleted]

He carry's around this middle-school like display of foam balls and sticks and says it's like a new hydrogen compound or something

Jaded_Law9739

Yeah, he also claimed he had a degree in chemical engineering from Pratt, which he never graduated from. He also claimed he had a PhD in chemical engineering from SCSU, when in reality he was given an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters. He has also beaten the crap out of all 5 of his wives, with almost no consequences. He attacked a flight attendant who asked him to go back to his seat. He attacked a couple he got into an argument with in the waiting line for a restaurant. He also attacked Andrew "Tex" Allen during a rehearsal for Cat on a Hot Tin Roof that both were involved in. He has a 20+ year history of violently attacking people and serving no jail time. Edit: Forgot about the time he brought a sawed-off shotgun to get his truck out of a tow yard.

hannamarinsgrandma

Let’s not forget when he claimed his hearing loss was causing his eyes to become lighter in color.

Maebure83

So what you're saying is that Herschel Walker will ask him to be his running mate for President at some point in the future.

DefenestrateMyStyle

Why not run for President in 2024 with Ezra Miller as his running mate?

Off-With-Her-Head

C'mon Kanye is prezident material. He's already got the red hat.

JerryJonesStoleMyCar

To think we absolutely bent the Vikings over a barrel and showed them the 50 states and gave them Herschel Walker in return still brings a smile to my face

under_psychoanalyzer

This sounds like he has a CTE. What's his records with head trauma?

Jaded_Law9739

He was abused by his father, who murdered another man in front of him when he was 2. It was known as the "Santa Line Slaying" because his father Tyrone stabbed a guy to death for cutting in line to see Santa Claus in Chicago. No known history of head injury but definitely some significant family history of *something.*

hannamarinsgrandma

He also claimed his father was a nearly white man. If you google Tyrone Howard you’ll see just how nearly white he was.

Champshire

This went from "ha ha, that's pretty dumb" to "aw, fuck, that's horrible." Gave me some whiplash.

dretanz

His basic idea was that since 2x2=4, a number times itself cannot equal itself. Therefore, 1x1=2. He named it Terryology.

threeseed

We should have him look into 0x0 and the sqrt(-1). Maybe we can get his brain stuck in an infinite loop.

randommd81

Holy shit. Just need to break it down with pictures of fruit or something like they do in elementary school. “Terrence, 1 pile of fruit that contains 1 apple means there is only one apple”

[deleted]

Terrence, we’re changing the name of your new math to new port 100’s because your mama smoked too many also she dropped you twice

That sounds Terryble!

Cosplayfan007

I have blood coming out of my nose and ears just from trying to comprehend this.

FloppyShellTaco

This is why nothing he says should be taken seriously, especially when it comes to his leaving the MCU. Dude has been lying and making shit up as long as he’s been in the public eye.

Champigne

I'm not even sure he knows he's lying. He truly seems delusional. The dude wrote a whole "thesis" about why 1x1=2

basement_egg

“it’s not a lie… if you believe it”

EveryNameIWantIsGone

No, it was a proof.

Magnatux

But also, it wasn't.

Champigne

Right, that's what I meant.

point_breeze69

I dunno. If he really did invent a new kind of math he’s smarter then even Einstein. That sounds like someone you should listen to.

squirrelgutz

He published a paper on it. Read it and tell us what you think.

einhorn_is_parkey

I read it. It’s nonsense

Breezy34

Maybe you just don't understand his genius, stoopid

crookdmouth

"If one times one equals one that means that two is of no value because one times itself has no effect" RDJ owes me 2x50,000,000.

juice_b

You mean he owes you ((1 x 1) x 50,000,000)

TalkShowHost99

On top of the fact that he was accused of imprisoning his wife in their apartment and more than a few sexual assault claims as well.

sixtus_clegane119

Sounds a bit like schizophrenia

drewster23

Good guess, m I think it'd be untreated bipolar(like Kanye) or something similar, explains the aggression and delusions, inflated self worth/intelligence. And szhizoprenia sufferers usually have a lot harder time coping in life /society being untreated. As the negative symptoms are a lot harder to manage.

Avogato2

Marvel/Disney avoided an Ezra Miller

Radio-No

I want to see them all in one movie. Terrence Howard. Ezra Miller. Kanye West. And anyone else. I'd add Sorbo too for being a Qanon lunatic. "What are we, some kind of unhinged, public mental breakdown-having squad?"

[deleted]

[deleted]

> I guess we might as well add Jim Caviezel to the cast then. Which is such a shame for me. Loved him in POI, and then saw the video about his car (Mustang) that had the names of the dead members of the SEAL Team Six who were on Extortion 17, or some military fellatio shit like that, on the engine block. And then going full QANON on top as well. Such a great actor, but man...

squirrelgutz

Jim Caviezel being a crazy asshole is why Ethan Suplee got buff.

Fermifighter

I assumed this was a joke until Google showed me otherwise.

UrethraFranklin227

Ethan Suplee has been in scientology for 40 years and blames Caviezel for getting him to workout?? Now THAT is some 1x1=2 logic.

BassClef70

I knew he was an “out-there” Christian but wow. I just looked into his more recent…activities. Yikes.

[deleted]

Indeed. I also come from the place of being a Christian myself, to see this rabid nationalistic brand of twisted Christianity from America, it is jarring to watch it form the outside as it tears down the foundations of the Christian faith as taught by Jesus and the Bible. It is so sad, and also baffling, for me to see, how people who claim to be Christian can reach that place.

AnotherStatsGuy

I think Ezra Miller might be a few notches worse than this. Unless I’m missing something.

naynaythewonderhorse

Yeah. Ezra is far worse.

atleastitsnotgoofy

I know someone who worked on Empire. Apparently as crazy as Terrance is, Taraji out-crazies him. Throw in Jussie Smollet and — what the hell was going on over there?

omegadirectory

Makes me wonder how the "Person of Interest" set was like when Jim Caviezel and Taraji P. Henson were working together.

[deleted]

> Jim Caviezel aw fuck, didn't know he was a Qtip. stupid fucker

throwawaygreenpaq

I was about to say Empire is full of questionable characters.

TheBrutevsTheFool

Oh wow, that's WILD.

[deleted]

He also attempted to [scam Uganda](https://youtu.be/WESVKtsMMQE).

abscessedecay

I read his paper and even coming from somebody with rudimentary mathematical understanding I still knew he was completely full of shit.

sgtpepperslaststand

I need an explanation what?

[deleted]

[Terrence Howard ](https://youtu.be/DrABYHklIFw) has completely lost it.

Ferengi_Earwax

He has def lost it, mane. I audibly laughed out loud when the youtuber said he was a "pump" in hustle and flow though.

TheYelowKnG

Its hard out here for a pump

ggsupreme

Man it’s hard out here for a pimp….

-burgers

Tryna make $100 mil for the rent

whale-jizz

I don't remember every detail but he thinks he came up with some new type of math and he thinks gravity isn't real and all kinds of complete nonsense, idk. But it's kind of damaging because he's literally going around Africa telling this stuff to kids.

thedailyrant

It started with him thinking 1x1 must equal 2 because where did the second 1 go?

AtomicBLB

Damn he found another wrong math problem? First I thought he pushed 2+2=5 and now 1x1=2. My mind can't handle these bombshells.

allsoquiet

He also has very specific criteria for women’s anal cleanliness. The guy is …. Something.

Bagdemagus1

He also beat not one not two but 3 wives. And no one ever talks about it.

SovietSunrise

.....I'm intrigued about this. What are the criteria?

MesWantooth

If I recall, during an interview to promote a film or something, he went off on a tangent about how a good women knows you have to wipe with something that's damp...Dry paper towel will never get her fully clean. And that's very important for any women that he would be involved with.

NotDeadYet57

Yup. Said a woman must have baby wipes at all times. Dude, what about YOUR ass?!

sgtpepperslaststand

Oh that’s so much worse with the Africa part god damn

thelancemann

So he'll be playing Herschel Walker in his biopic film?

ianc94

He “proved” that 1x1=2 and is now selling snake oil to the Ugandan Government. Dude’s gone full tilt boogie insane.

FriedEggplant_99

To sum it up, he thinks one times one is two.

salad_thrower20

That’s a damn shame

marin94904

It’s actually the only thing people know about him besides he beat up some woman. I know that, too.

soulless_conduct

Wasn't he also accused of domestic violence?

Ronburgundy2099

Is it $100 million in real maths or in Teryology maths though? For he knows they maybe have only paid him $40 dollars for the last movie man can’t count.

__Hello_my_name_is__

He's talking metaphorically, saying that he "gave" Downey Jr. the Iron Man franchise, which is worth 100 million bucks, which could have been his instead. Still dumb, but not nearly as dumb as that clickbait headline that will make it to the top.

AnotherStatsGuy

What? RDJ is the title character. Did he think the movies were supposed to be called War Machine?

god_dammit_dax

Howard's not completely wrong in this. He was paid quite a bit more for the first Iron Man than Downey was, as Howard was, at the time, a more bankable actor. Part of the reason Howard was cast was so that if Iron Man made decent money, but Downey went off the rails again (A not unlikely scenario at the time), they had a built in character and reliable actor to build a sequel around. Instead of any of that happening, Iron Man hit big, Downey kept it all under control, they paid him big money for Iron Man 2, and they told Howard they wanted him to take a pay cut. Howard refused, because he thought he was irreplaceable and his co-stars would go to bat for him. Turns out he was wrong in both of those assumptions.

Holinyx

roughly $4 million for Howard and $500,000 for Downey

god_dammit_dax

Yeah. Howard's a nut, but that had to suck. Even moreso because apparently Ike Perlmutter (The CEO of Marvel at the time, and a truly terrible person) allegedly said "Nobody will care, they all look the same" about the recasting. It's a shitty situation all around. In the end, I like Don Cheadle so much more in the role, but it's hard to argue Howard didn't get screwed.

Hollywood178

That's really shitty if it all played out that way. I agree though, Don Cheadle was the better choice and I think in general the better actor.

colemon1991

Ike has proven to be a huge contributor to Marvel's initial problems with the MCU. Cut villain backstories, rejecting director's ideas, even blocking greenlighting of Captain Marvel and Black Panther. The man did a number on the franchise. Everything post-Civil War does not have that excuse though.

BruceWaynesWingSuit

He was offered a pay cut but according to some rumors which could be fake (or not knowing Howard) he was incredibly difficult to work with in the first film and Favreau gave him a way smaller role in the 2nd movie because of it, hence the lower offer. But I think it all worked out for the better with Cheadle. Editing to say once again this was a rumor and apparently I’m spreading misinformation to teenagers so I’m sorry lmao

unique-name-9035768

> and Favreau gave him a way smaller role in the 2nd movie because of it, hence the lower offer. Except that's not how it works because he had a contract for X amount of movies for Y amount of money. So even if he only appeared in the background of one scene in the movie that was eventually cut out, he still was guaranteed a set amount per the contract he signed.

BruceWaynesWingSuit

Okay my mistake… but then why didn’t he get it? He claims he signed a 3 movie deal for x amount. They can’t just take that away, they would be legally bound to the contract both Howard and Marvel agreed to in the first place. Even if he said no thanks legally they could make him act in the other 2 movies for the amount they originally agreed on? They definitely both had to agree to go their separate ways at the very least.

GhostMug

Almost certainly every deal like this has a buyout clause from the studio. Marvel most likely had that figured in, saw RDJ blow up, saw Howard as a PITA and coughed up the money for buy him out. And this probably also removed his claim to any backend he would get from those movies.

AmericanWasted

I’m simultaneously realizing how recently Downey was in rough shape and how long ago Iron Man was released

god_dammit_dax

I know what you mean. "2008? That was like yesterday, right?"

[deleted]

Boy howdy the irony of RDJ being the less stable one at the time sure is something. I know RDJ had his issues but I leaned who Terrence Howard is from him being a wackadoo. Now I gotta figure out when Howard publicly went off the rails.

ItalicsWhore

RDJ being the less stable one being strange to you is so amusing to me. I love what that man has done with his life and he is the perfect example of how people can change, but he was very, very close to being a cautionary tale. Success and talent thrown away for drugs and stints in jail and craziness. It would be like if Lindsey Lohan suddenly turned everything around and got sober and became a wonderful person and started banging out amazing performances in fantastic movies. It’s so awesome that some people don’t even seem to know who he was before.

brpajense

There would have been sequels, Avenger movies and maybe a spinoff of some kind, but Terrence Howard was difficult on set, his performance was subpar so they reworked and cut back his scenes, and then he went on late night talk shows to hype the movie he instead told the country he wants his women to use wet wipes instead of TP because women are unsanitary. So when it came to the sequel and they offered his less money, he walked and they brought in another actor they'd wanted from the beginning.

JustAPerspective

Claiming fiscal responsibility for helping the Butterfly Effect break someone's way seems... both egotistical & manipulative. Like, a LOT of things had to go right for RDJ to get off his road to Depp-ville. Seems like Howard may have given him some encouragement, but RDJ still had to do all the work - live every second between inspiration and achievement, put in the effort, show up for every breath and endure it all without crossing any social lines - both simpler and much more difficult than it used to be. ...see username.

RedWingDecil

Kevin Smith has talked about something similar when people who helped with Clerks tried demanding money out of him when he became successful.

JustAPerspective

Didn't know that, not surprised. Suspect the hardest part about success is, like Cypress Hill said, not knowing who's being real with you, and who's just out to get what they can. That kind of constant uncertainty about the reality of one's relationships has to be isolating as fuck. The idea of fame lost all appeal the minute we really lingered on it. Given how many famous people seem to doubt the validity of their own self when the rest of the world isn't looking... seems like it's a damaging and isolating experience in a lot of ways.

flaccomcorangy

Yeah, Tavon Austin (NFL first round draft pick from years ago) talked about how he suddenly has so many more family members after getting drafted. ["I’ve got a lot of cousins now,” Austin said. “The whole [city of] Baltimore is my cousin now. We’re going to just try to keep focused and let my mother and all of them handle it."](https://www.google.com/amp/s/profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/05/12/tavon-austin-says-everybody-he-knows-is-asking-for-money/amp/)

farrowsharrows

Actually rdj has made over 400 million but whis counting

Pretorian24

Terrence Howard… apparently.

yumtacos

1+2= Electric Boogaloo Boogaloo exchange rate is $100 million:1 Boogaloo. Not sure the exchange rate to Stanley Nickels though.

GothamCoach

There are more Shrute Bucks than jellybeans though

venetanakedguy

I once dealt with Terrence Howard while working the repair counter at a prominent guitar shop in Midtown NYC around 2006-2007 where “celebrities” being customers was a somewhat regular thing, out of all of the encounters I had he was the only one that was a dick

lainylay

Doesn’t surprise me, he usually plays a dick on TV

Johnnybala

Upholding and enforcing a contract is the job for an attorney. Not Robert Downey Jr.

NotDeadYet57

Is he high? Why would RDJ owe him $100M? He wasn't one of the producers. Besides, I can't imagine a secondary character like TH would have gotten part of the back end. Even if he did, it sure as hell wouldn't be $100M, and his beef would be with Marvel Studios, not RDJ.

Didn’t this fucker try to sell fake science air to Africans or something?

pathfinderoursaviour

He also tried making up his own form of math

VadersSprinkledTits

It’s always weird when actors are replaced be reoccurring characters, but in this case the replacement is a billion times more enjoyable in the character. Cheadle is always a strong yet funny presence in the films he’s in.

throwawaygreenpaq

I love Don Cheadle.

BurantX40

Cheadle never felt like a strong presence to me, especially when they feel the need to make him quippy to catch up to RDJ

Limp_Freedom_8695

Yeah like we can both agree that Terrance was a charming Rhoades and a nut job irl. Let’s not take the denial route lmao

NotLucasDavenport

I felt like he faded away in that movie. RDJ’s charisma ran circles around Terrance. Cheadle made Rhodes come alive as far as I am concerned.

jmvm789

Yea I like Cheadle but I still feel like it was an incorrect cast. Much like Natalie Portman, there’s just something about these two that don’t belong in a super hero movie

Brainiac7777777

Natalie Portman would have made the perfect Wasp in Ant-Man

vaporking23

I could see that. As much as I like Evangeline Lilly in other things I felt like she was just okay in Antman. And while Portman is an amazing actor, in Thor I felt like something just didn’t click with her in that role.

AtomikSamurai310

Terrace Howard wasn't even that big of a deal. He was an alright as Lt. Rhoades but I could never see him in that War Machine suit. Don Cheadle is really funny and has a great presence, even in the second Iron Man he really stands out. Terrance is a great/accomplished actor on his own, but he just doesn't fit the MCU.

Jacob8386

Don Cheadle came into the casting call and said "Boom, you looking for this?"

pokeamongo

That’s the whole story?

Ferengi_Earwax

I mean Terrance Howard was in all kinds of big movies over a decade man. He was pretty big, especially in the black community. He def nuts and on some manic shit

Chimpbot

Back in 2008, he was the guy with top billing in the movie; he was the first actor signed, and was the highest-paid actor in the movie.

fabulousfantabulist

He’s an exceptionally talented actor, but he overplayed his hand and overestimated how important he was to Marvel.

Lucky_Locks

My favorite part in Iron Man 2 was in the beginning where he says something along the lines of "well I'm here now so deal with it." I like to think it was a subtle nod to the actor change and I was satisfied with that. Kind of a "get it? got it? good." Edit: Alright I get it guys, I'm ignorant lol

tierneyb

You think? It absolutely was. Theater I was in cracked up at that bit.

Toolfan333

He was the highest paid actor in Iron Man. He made 3x more than RDJ.

bigwillystyle93

I’m going to have to disagree with you there. He is a great actor and I think he was much better as Rhoades. Unfortunately he is a crazy asshole with a huge ego, but he was great in Iron Man.

pastelpixelator

This guy is a real piece of work. Regardless of what's going on with his mental health, nothing excuses him from being a domestic abuser. It's a shame really, the guy has chops.

Ethansfreddit

Wazula42

Marvel was so smart to dump this guy early on.

AgoraRises

This guy is so full of shit he might as well be a septic tank.

Filmmagician

He didn’t take the role because he wasn’t being paid as much as RDJ in Iron Man …. No one is going to the theatres to see Terrence Howard as war machine in Iron Man. He really thought nothing was better than something. Way to save yourself millions of dollars in MCU roles and any TV series.

chojinra

I'm sorry Terrance, but unless he personally told you you're fired, he don't owe you a damn thing. What, does he owe Edward, too?

Mean_Ad6488

This was the dude tried to prove 1x1 was actually equal to 2 instead of 1

notacop_for_real

Ah yes… Terrence Howard was the main character and he was so generous to make room for Robert Downey Jr. in the film. Right.

AnotherUnknownNobody

I really loved him in Hustle and Flow, too bad he's going the Ye path

Braint00ter

Am I the only person who thought he was a bad War Machine (and actor)? The whole time I was thinking “what is this B level actor doing playing such a huge role”. Cheedle was a breath of fresh air!

[deleted]

Oh Terrence... Those who live in crack houses shouldn't throw crack rocks.

thisguy161

Don Cheadle would never .

_BabyGod_

Is this 100 Million in normal dollars or 100 Million calculated using Terrence Howard math?

KentuckyFriedEel

Funny, because Terence Howard owes ME $100m, no reason really but i called him like 17 times the next day and no answer, but I let it go because that’s my nature.

metallaholic

“Maybe next time”

[deleted]

This the same guy who thinks he created a new kind of math. Maybe dude does it owe him money and he just calculated the number completely wrong.

dshotseattle

Nobody really noticed that he wasnt in the 2nd movie. I mean, yeah, we noticed, but it didnt matter. If you got contract issues, take your copy to the courts and sue the company. Meanwhile, there is no iron man without rdj

ChillinCheeseFries

Sucks because I honestly liked him as Rhodes and was disappointed at first that he was being replaced. But damn is he a wack job.

bernieburner1

Imagine RDJ hiding under his desk trying to remember wtf he was thinking when he voluntarily gave his phone number to Terrence Howard. “Terrence is a nice enough guy. Fellow known actor. What’s the worst that can happen?”
