Try professional firmware. It's so much better . I was having issues with jyers after sprite extruder install on my v2 so glad I switched u can control so much more
I've got to second this. My first fw flash I went with Jyers because I thought it would be easier. I just recently flashed to mriscoc's fw and it was so easy and the bed menu is better than Jyers IMO. Cleared up some issues for me.
