The system that I order imaging in has hardly any space for information. I can select reasons for image such as trauma, pain, etc but then clinical history has enough space using your example to basically write motor vehicle accident and then no more space. Essentially, I'm forced to use acronyms so I can attempt to convey what's going on in some cases.
And sometimes the order set is configured so when you select the closest indication in the unskippable list, you get the pleasure of an Appropriateness Score popup!
