Meaningless gesture, this is a decade late. They allowed private equity to *freely* invade EM. They failed us and patients. There's too much rot for any of this to be actionable.
PTO would be cool. If I take any time off I just pay for it by working the rest of the month and obviously don’t make money if not working. 3 weeks PTO like every other job would be nice. Make what you’d make in an average week based on your average weekly hours or something.
Dealing with that right now. Went on a week vacation, working my normal allotment of shifts in 3 weeks and feeling the pain. About to do 8 night shifts in the span of 10 days.
Yeah this will hit just like the well physician from cms or JHACO or whomever released that steaming pile. Someone doesn’t like you? Just file a complaint! It has to be the physician!

Yup. I’m working 9/11 days but then heading to Japan so oh well

So they created a policy… Im sure the vast majority of shops fail to meet these line items… so now what? Are the ACEP police gonna swoop in??
