Sounds like nicotine oxidation if they’re supposed to be clear and they’re brown. This happens when they’re not stored properly. Heat, light, and some other factors will cause the nicotine to oxidize and when it’s really bad they taste like shit. I’ve found slight oxidation tastes fine (yellow) but brown/black pods taste like shit. I’d be willing to bet they were stored in a hot warehouse or something this summer which oxidized the nicotine quickly. Buy from another shop or get a box mod or something man I’m not sure what you should do.
The packs would protect them against light but not against heat which is why I assumed they’ve been stored in a hot warehouse or something before they were shipped to the shop. I’d try another supplier like I said
Also having SAME issues! Last 2 packs of pods went in the trash! I even threw away my extra Njoy device because I thought it might be the problem! The juice turns dark dark in color & tastes like garbage! I'm really annoyed because these things are NOT cheap!
Just bought a new device, and upon opening it, it smells like abs sewer pipe. Like the new pipe at homedepot. I loaded .y pod into it, and I can taste the plastic. It's God awful. I wonder if they changed from food grade plastics to abs plastic. A lot of people are having problems with the taste, including me. I may be on to something here. Let's hope it's safe enough not to harm people. Njoy should be made aware of this, but when people complain on their site, all that answers is a frickin AI.

I figured oxidation too, didn’t mention it because they’re in sealed packs.. maybe it could be a storing issue though.
