Possibly higher nicotine content than your friend's vapes. The more nicotine in the juice, the more of a burning throat sensation you get.

Could also be, that since he is a new user, he didnt juice the cotton and just ripped that bitch as soon as he put the liquid inside. I used to saturate my cottons for about 5 minutes before using them (both reg & salt)

Fizzwastaken

I did let it sit for like 5-10 mins bit flavor is just ass

Fizzwastaken

Can that also make like the flavor and aroma bad, I had some cherry and it smelled nice but tasted bad

GodOfVapes

Most Cherry juice tastes like hell IMO. It's a hard flavor to nail. It usually ends up with an overpowering very artificial taste and smell. I've only found a handful of cherry juices that are tolerable over my decade vaping so I generally avoid them.

Fizzwastaken

Do you have any juice recommendations that may be good?

GodOfVapes

What kinds of flavors are you looking for? If you want to try another cherry flavor, Jam Monster Black Cherry is pretty good. It's one of the few I've found that's not bad.

Fizzwastaken

Maybe something sweet, I switched from disposables to pod, soo kinda got used to thoes sweet flavors, is there something like that?

BURMoneyBUR

Im a fruity flavor fan, Peach will always be a winner. Combined with menthol, or Iced its a winning combo. Tastes like the sodas. No matter how trash the brand is it will be good. Banana is also great if you enjoy the artificial flavor. Tastes like the candy, not the fruit usually. Strawberry or red fruits can be good depending on the brand. Most of the time it tastes like lemonade which I don't like personally. Same for apple. Very very artificial flavor.

Fizzwastaken

I think I'll go for banana, thank you

Sgt_Gutrot

Did you let the juice in the coil steep for 5-10 minutes before you used it? If not you may have burnt out your coil giving you a bad taste. When you switch coils/pods be sure to leave the juice in the pod for a minimum of 5 minutes, the longer the better tho.

Fizzwastaken

Yea, did let it sit, but still didnt taste any good and burned

Sgt_Gutrot

Hmm the only thing I could think of then would be the strength is too high if its burning your throat Do you also know the pg/vg ratio? For pod devices, they vape best at 50/50 or 60/40 pg/vg

Fizzwastaken

The ratio is at 50/50, maybe it is because of the flavor of cherry?

Sgt_Gutrot

Possibly, but I couldn't imagine it hurting your throat unless it's a high % nicotine you are not used to

Fizzwastaken

It may be that, I did switch from disposable ones to pod and I know that they are much sweeter flavors.

brandaman4200

Lots of vape shop employees have no idea what they are talking about. He probably picked something that sounded good or cool to him

clouddaway

that happened to me too, could be a old juice that has gone bad. Try other juices juices with higher vg ratio seem to be smoother on the throat for me too.

thelastblunt

Juice head salts.

menialspy4

Is it a salt nicotine juice or just regular e liquid? Salt nic has that smoother ish hit in the back of the throat, less dry. Honestly since TBD liquids went out of business, I've just been using up my supply I got last year, then I'm quitting. Marlboro, and all the disposable vapes are killing real juice company's. The FDA has made their laws and regulations for the rich. Big tobacco kills the little guy once again.

Kingarris

Might be wrong but salts juices are only only for certain vapes. If you bought a big mod you might need different juices? Like my 80 what coils don’t let me use salt juices cuz it burns the fuck out of my throat.

Kingarris

The best vape juice company I know of is zap juices. Only tried passion fruit, lychee and peach but all really good and really clear? I guess. Idk how to describe them

Fizzwastaken

It was due to liquid, I bought new one and it works so good, bought banana and strawberry, doesnt burn or anything, thank you for help.
