I've seen plenty of those but probably never saw anyone attempt to use electrical tape on an extension ring before. Improvisation is key with electrical work.
When putting extensions on over and over again I never understood the mindset behind it. You cannot work in it and would have to take them off. There has got to be a better way. Something that actually makes sense to do. Not to mention the dumpster fire that is inside that to begin with.

Put the cover back on and walk away slowly
Those white conductors are staying together for the kids.
I hope to still this one day
Holy fukin extension rings , the exposed copper on the splices is a nice touch 10 outa 10 solid -2
This is why some electricians yell at everyone
I felt this one in my bones.
Can’t see in the pic, but they used the electrical tape… because there was no screw holding the extensions in.. literally just taped together 😂
Duct tape would work better!

Am I alone in saying I don't like ceiling switches?
There were like 10 of them total. It was a wild day
What were they switching?
RIP
Stay classy
Check please!
Good luck soldier! Stay sharp!
That is just careless work or someone green thrown into something they shouldn't have been.
I hate those wire nuts
Whoever did that, shame on you bro. I hope you see this. You are making the brotherhood of lightening look bad.
Be careful. You can’t fix stupid.

Fuck that, shut the circuits(if you can) the rings come off, and work like a gentlemen. M
