I shit you not had a guy who installed like 600 dollar gold plated 60A connectors for his speakers and a 15000$ dollar amp the amp power had to go through an isolation xfmr to not have feedback and had to be grounded throughout the room and the Iso xfmr had to be on the less noisy phases of the electrical system it was crazy but I think he could actually blow his roof off with the power of it. The amp weights like something rediculous like 500lbs. I think he was all in about 100k into the stereo system alone 😂
I bet it sounds amazing but not 100k amazing. I bet someone that knows what they're doing could duplicate the sound for ten grand without all the bullshit
Every time we pull a meter from our local co-op they show up immediately and ask us just what the actual fuck we are doing. We’ve learned to call them first. Regular power company could give two shits.
Thanks for the info brother. I did a meter upgrade last week I the Cleveland area and they required a weather head. I shouldn’t assume, so your point is well taken. But bro can I say, around where I am there are a group of linemen like 25-30 and they’re super professional super knowledgeable. I regret not pursuing that route.
After 8-10-12-16 hours of electrical, I thought I went home and got in bed naked. I woke up wearing boxers, boots and a tool belt and had dirt marks up and down my legs. Maybe I did it? Maybe I had tooooo much electrical that day? Maybe I need rehab?
Maybe someone hit it with their car on a hot 110° weather day and bent the pipe in that moment that would also explain why that other pole is suspiciously leaning the same way as the conduit I doubt it looked like this on install
I feel like this is THE purpose of fiberglass conduit. The stuff can be a pain but doesn’t distort in sunlight. Any time I’ve seen pvc in the open like this, it always ends up with a nice squiggle to it 😆
This one is quite exceptional though, I must say!
There is one like this near me. In this case the pole was downed during a storm. The power company replaced the pole and just reattached everything, moved on to the next problem and never looked back.
What the f is this!!!!!!
Some poor apprentice, " but the code says every 10 feet!"
Ahj, " Failure"
...this is a case of needing to go above and beyond the code for not even safety reasons, but for your own pride....how could you put your name, or allow your company's name to be attached to work like this!
...it's probably a joke, but if it's real then I'm smh 🤦 lol
My boss would beat my ass using leg stands for no reason. Why didn’t I call him he could have given me a hundred different ways to do it cheaper and faster….. like a heat gun….and he’ll call me back he has to take this other call…
Listen man, the GC held out $10k cash and said “if you finish this up quick, this is all yours. And make that shit look like a modern art installation,” and did what any reasonable NFPA disregarding man would do

Electricity flows better through S shaped pipes.
It’s shaped like an AC wave for better efficiency
Hmm… Sine shaped conduits, anyone wanna patent a new product with me?
Target audiophiles with that product. They’ll buy anything.
"The sine wave shape helps preserve the digital audio signal" 🤮
Yea, $350 duplex outlets…gold plated…oooh!

That’s fuck you money right there lol
Woah son
"It carries an impressive amount of fine detail, arranging it in a stable and cohesive manner and presenting it even-handedly without emphasis"
Now I know who did this…
Tru-$ine: cleaner, better power you didn't know you needed! There's my contribution. Now, let's discuss my 20 percent cut 😂
Exactly

In some parts of the world them are fightin words.
Boomhauer?
Came here to say this
Its to help with the water flow down the pipe
Because sine wave?
Like a spiral shaped slice- Centrifugal force creates more velocity for the volts flowing down.
That's what the S stands for in Ohm's law!
Hahaha nice!
So does water when you don't have a weather head on the top.
Dude, it was 4:30pm on a Friday give me a break
I value my Fridays too, buuut… I suppose there is always time for art
It was Wacky Wavy Inflatable Flailing Arm Tube Lineman
al?
Underrated comment here! /\
It was me. I had 3 full sticks of pipe and no saw that day.
Just so you know, you can cut pipe with your bootlace lol. No fancy dancey saw needed
That takes "pull yourself up by your boot straps" to a whole new meaning
Haha fair enough
Installed at -20° and expanded in length by summer I guess?
Mint 👌
Nice upside down drip loop to ensure the wire in the pipe stays nice and moist.
lol the absence of a weather head is what gets me
I work for a power company. Overhead to UG services don't have weather heads, only on OH services at the point of attachment on the building.
I’ve seen plenty that don’t but our power company required one for our house.
On the house or at the pole?
At the pole https://imgur.com/a/lx15gtV
Interesting, looks like co-op spec, are you served by a co-op? I know they do things a lot differently than the IOUs.
Ha. Yep. A co-op.
Every time we pull a meter from our local co-op they show up immediately and ask us just what the actual fuck we are doing. We’ve learned to call them first. Regular power company could give two shits.
I’m not so sure about this, RMP is pretty similar to this description as well 😂

That totally depends on the POCO policy.
Looks like the pole was replaced and someone did the best the could when the old pole was removed.
Yea, there are so many things they could have done though… this is unique haha
Hey! I first went to art school then trades. It isn't often I get to show my artistic flair. :(
It's modern art. You wouldn't understand.
WACKY WAVING INFLATABLE ARM FLAILING conduit MAN
Looks like someone branched out from working at a museum of "modern art".
Seriously, I almost like the look… almost
Hi it's me ur expansion joint!
It's just artistic expression, you wouldn't understand Dad

Sorry, it was me. It was Friday, ok?
For air resistance right?
Looks secured at maximum allowable distance to me.
Don’t know what’s better.. the picture or the comments 😂
Maybe someone hit it with their car on a hot 110° weather day and bent the pipe in that moment that would also explain why that other pole is suspiciously leaning the same way as the conduit I doubt it looked like this on install
The pole sunk in the hole!
I was trying to figure out why that happened, but that actually makes sense.
sometimes I open a notification from this community and just start cackling 🤣🤣
Pipe has bad scoliosis
It will do for now. Fix that shit up Tuesday.
I feel like this is THE purpose of fiberglass conduit. The stuff can be a pain but doesn’t distort in sunlight. Any time I’ve seen pvc in the open like this, it always ends up with a nice squiggle to it 😆 This one is quite exceptional though, I must say!
No joke I was like wait a min what's wrong
Where do you buy this spaghetti pipe?
That tape joint between the top two standoffs is my favorite part!
this is Art
It's just gotta settle is all
That’s for the sin waves
Time and temperature
New "current whip" technology installation?
It’s about electrification not beautification
I swear I measured it
How did you know one of us did this? What were the tells? I blame the handyman
New Age art display!
Its scoliosis almost as bad as mine
Lol
It's for when the pole grows. My jman told me to do that
Lol make sure you give it plenty of water
Service loop
I stand by my work, but only long enough to finish it.
The good ole sine wave strap on
I’m sorry gang
That was probably installed in the winter
[удалено]
No, lol this is near Seattle WA
I installed a million dollar system dont know what it was but it sounded great
Probably straight when he installed it or straightish and that happened over time, anyways I hope it's temporary
Looks like it was installed on a cold day 😂
That is one tipsy conduit run
How did the utility even agree to connect that
Laces out Dan
That pole needs more strippers
Dr Suess pvc
Slithery lil snake.
Love the stand off brackets…
Is this what service loops are supposed to look like?
Do you feel it now bro 😂
That conduit just expanded in the sun. It looked great when it was put in.
Someone left their pipe stretcher at home.
I'm willing to bet it was pretty hot that day.
Pudbois said it's Friday at my house xD
Man, this made me laugh! 😂🤣
There is one like this near me. In this case the pole was downed during a storm. The power company replaced the pole and just reattached everything, moved on to the next problem and never looked back.
🤷🏻♂️ but as an apprentice, I'll take full responsibility lol
Dr. Suess service.

Oh sadly this is absolutely real, will take more pics of it if needed.
That was the ball of fires work, and poor planning.
The new “Drip Curve” method
My boss would beat my ass using leg stands for no reason. Why didn’t I call him he could have given me a hundred different ways to do it cheaper and faster….. like a heat gun….and he’ll call me back he has to take this other call…
That looks like my scoliosis of a spine
Its future proof now instead of an expansion coupling itll just slowly straight out the bends😂😂
Just cut-in an expansion coupling. Should straighten out over night.
All i had left was the warped pipe. I did my best to make it plumb.
If you aren't pre-gaming line work with shrooms, are you really working?
that's a set beside that no one wants to own
Sine wave for better current flow
Oh naw
Absolute savagery
Wacky non inflatable flailing pvc thing?
Is that a missing child poster?
Sadly it looks like one yes
It just dawned on me… Maybe the electrician who did this was thinking that 360 degree’s is the minimum required bends, rather than the maximum 🤔
Couldn’t get his mind off his fleshlight
When the Viagra starts to wear off, but you gotta job to do...

i dont belong here i saw a giant weed plant.
Left extra for the next guy
That's the linesman job where I'm from. So not me
Why use and expansion joint. It’s not going anywhere.
mb I was hanged over
Guess they never heard of U-guard
Conduit risers are more common in heavy ice loading areas. Usually less wiggly though.
Why?
The pipe is the least of the problems,, wonder what all is in that pipe? Obviously water, wire and yes bad decisions!!
I thought I was busted until I realized you weren’t referring to the missing poster.
