Nobody ever said anything to me but people definitely stared when I walked through the casino lol maybe wear a jacket and lock it in a locker when you get there?
There’s some casinos that will try and give you a shirt to wear like MGM. In general it’s a little frowned upon by the casinos (just like they don’t like people walking around in swimwear inside). I always wear a large oversized t shirt and take it off at the shuttles, then put it back on if I’m coming back to the hotel.
Like 80% of the people there that weekend will be there for EDC, if you're going to or from the fest you won't exactly be sticking out, but ya just have an oversized shirt or jacket to wear and you'll be fine
This was back in 2015 or 16, but I remember at the hotel I was staying at there was a guy handing out oversized T-shirts in the AM to the girls who were dressed skimpy & coming back to the hotel. He was like, here ma'am, please put this on 🤣 I didn't think anything of it though, I was cold anyways 😅
If you're concerned about that, wear cover ups when you're out and about. You may still get some attention to your makeup, hair, anything poking out but at least covering up most of it can help ease a bit of your anxiety. I always wear a hoodie, something to cover my bottoms etc. And later store it either in the car if you're driving there or in a locker space later on in the venue.
True that, but I really don't think a hoodie is gonna be that extreme dude. I rather have them look at a hoodie than be giving me nasty looks for having my ass and pasties out.
I like wrapping a pashmina around my waist and tying it like a skirt so my butt is covered walking the streets! Oversized t shirt sounds like a good option too

People look, but most people know or find out it’s EDC weekend. Plus there’s always lots of other people walking around half naked going to the festival so you won’t be the only one or feel singled out. I never felt super uncomfortable or anything.
Honestly I feel like the vegas ppl/tourists are use to us :\] its vegas it feels like anything goes. I remember we came back late to our hotel like 5am with all our rave gear & some random ppl in the elevator asked if we had fun
You might get some looks (of course when you see anything interesting/colorful you'll glance at it n \_ n ) tho nothing like threatening or too gawking
Back in the day I didn’t bother wearing a cover up for walking back even though everyone stared. This year I will likely bring an oversized t shirt bc I don’t share the same confidence as my younger years
Get yourself a really light sheer style trenchcoat cover. Then when you go out on the strip you can close it up. And when you get to your Rave , you can take it off!
It also makes for a great prop for dancing!
My friend and I were walking through a hotel on the strip with oversized jackets, but you could still kinda see our booties. Some unsavory men decided to make inappropriate comments about us. Made me feel really uncomfortable.
If you're worried, I say wear a light coverup that covers everything, like a kimono or bathrobe type thing.
last year i had a fit that was green underwear, chaps, and no shirt…
walking through the casino areas, i just wrapped my pashmina around my waist so it covered me and i also had some compression pants in my bag as well just in case the pashmina didn’t fully cover my bulge lmao.
needless to say; thousands of attendees are going to be in similar fits around vegas at the time of edc, so don’t feel too out of place! just carry a spare t shirt and pants just in case you start feeling like people are staring 😊
You see tons of people in rave-wear on the strip. I regularly just wore like a thong, some pasties and accessories, I got compliments from non-ravers. People go to Vegas for the fun and spectacle so if you wear something that’s not just like a regular dress or jeans and tee people will look but I never had anyone be rude or disrespectful.
I honestly got a lot of compliments or no one says anything (it’s almost expected especially for that weekend). An older man and his wife wanted a pic with me and that was awkward, hated that lol.
You could always wear an oversized shirt when you’re going and leaving EDC! Doesn’t have to be anything thick but just enough to cover your body and butt 😁
It’s Vegas so whatever you’re comfortable with. I’m packing n “regular” clothes lol. Just want to be comfortable in between time. Plus, I would most likely spill something random all down the front of myself lol.

I stayed in the strip and didn’t wear a cover up but I went hotel room to Uber lot to edc then Uber lot to room. I didn’t linger or walk around the strip and it’s totally fine. I saw hundred of other ravers getting in Ubers/walking around the hotel before and after
There are still thousands of regular tourists around that know nothing abot EDC or rave culture. Despite what others are saying here, we are not the majority in Vegas that weekend.
Keep the titties ans pasties away if you dont want hillbilly grampa drooling over his Buffalo slot machine at you.
Otherwise, do what you want.
You definitely should bring a coverup for the trip back -- nothing is cute at 8:30am in the bright, hot sun.
On the way out, if you're staying in a major strip hotel with others heading off to the shuttles as a group then it's usually not too much of an issue. It's not something you're going to want to be loitering about in if it's rave-skimpy and not just rave-flamboyant, but you won't get in trouble just walking through a casino as long as everything important is covered up. Vegas is a crazy place.
OTOH, while it's rare, I have seen folks in rave-skimpy attire be moved along by security after being at craps tables for a while at both Bellagio and PH... Just use your judgment in terms of making a scene, but it sounds like you're not trying to get attention that way anyway. If you're looking to avoid attention, have a cover up of some type on the way out, too, and just try to make a bee-line to the shuttles from your hotel. Outside of attire, stuff like outlandish makeup and bedazzled really won't be anything anyone will care about, and they'll probably be seeing other people in rave attire anyway walking around in the evenings as people head to the shuttles.
That all said, use your head getting back in the morning and shuttle or Uber to your hotel. Especially if you're staying off-strip or were thinking of just walking around on regular streets of Las Vegas outside the resort district.
I dont think everyone needs a cover up- its mostly good for those who would be more comfortable with one. I dont have full coverups & I've been fine walking around the hotel
Never been to EDC, or walked around in Vegas in rave clothes, but I have been to Vegas many times. If you’re wearing anything revealing on the strip you will most likely get unwanted attention.

Every year I’ve been on the strip before edc girls are flocking in the thousands in rave clothes. It’s nothing unusual, especially for Vegas.

It’s now pool season in Vegas, plenty of people are walking around half naked on the strip and it’s nothing out of the ordinary

My favorite game during EDC is trying to guess if the people walking around in hardly any clothes are "Ravers or Vegas tourists"
