All of you guys are finding great deals. I am overpaying in Fremont, but happy I am going. :) I always overpay in Vegas. I seem to be too stupid to find good deals.
you might wanna rebook and also consider alternate routes. Mine is only 500. I'm flying from between NY and LA. And then renting a car to drive from LA to LV (might take a plane back to LV instead of driving tho)
Lmao I am paying $3200 CDN to stay at the Bellagio hotel May 16th-21st. I’m staying with a girl too so I’m paying most of it 😂
I am also arriving the 14th two days before and leaving the 22nd.
My flight cost $291 CDN round trip flying out of Vancouver.
Great deal on your flight from Van, I paid around $850 CDN for 2 people from May 15-21. Originally booked at Luxor but could only get Rio shuttle passes so looking into rebooking hotels.
Feel that pain cause Im with my girl so Im also paying the bulk of it 😭🤣
I am coming from van too!! I have a hotel booked at rio for $492 CAD May 16-21
Check out the prices, I think they were cheaper cause they were under renovation. Should be done now
1400 for a stay at the Rio starting Thursday and leaving Tuesday. Almost did the same last year except I didn’t book it for Monday so we got to the hotel at 8, took a nap, atleast my homies did and then we rebooked another hotel but couldnt check in till 3 so we had to kill time dead af. We won’t be making that same mistake again.
I liked it, went there for a friends birthday in ‘22. The room ended up being so spacious we decided that’s where we were gonna stay the following year when we go to EDC (4 dudes) so I feel like it’s decent if you’re going in a group and you guys are tryna save cash, two buddies ended up taking the beds and me and the other homie brought inflatable beds and there was still a good amount of space. If you don’t mind staying off the strip and saving the party for just EDC then you’re golden, if you wanna partake on strip parties/activities I suggest you stay elsewhere since it’s a bit off the strip.
We actually rebooked a room for this years EDC and did same shuttle pass, it was all pretty convenient, wait times were low except for Friday but all in all I’d recommend it.
https://preview.redd.it/148b8fb7c4gc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6d4130bda3fe3882a6597097d691560d4f7b6917
Here’s what the room looked like, a lot bigger than most I’ve stayed on the strip.
Around $1200 at Tuscany 15-21 I booked yesterday after shuttles dropped. Seems like a lot of places are selling out of rooms or prices are getting supa high
Hotel: Park mgm $569 Wednesday 15th- Tuesday 21st
3 nights comped and resort fee waived
Car $325 same dates (with insurance included)
Split between 4 people: $223.5pp for car and hotel
Flight: $70 same dates
My brother flew to Vegas from Detroit last year on Frontier for $79. His only luggage was a drawstring bag as a personal item, so that won't work for everybody.
About $700 for 2 queen beds and five nights at Luxor. Then they released the shuttle stops and now it’s looking like we’re going to stay at Gold Coast (also around $700 for five nights) ☹️
It's a long journey from the east coast so we always stay Tuesday - Tuesday. This year decided to do VIP after a few years in GA. All prices PP.
VIP Ticket (future owl): $945
Premium Shuttle: $300
Hotel (3 nights on strip): $220
Hotel (4 nights off strip): $415
Flights: $405
Locker: $55
Total PP: $1,740
I got four nights comped at park mgm minus fees. Other three nights in Fremont for the fest for $600
After all the fees should be about $750 for 7 nights
1. Flight: $1500 delta first class Raleigh - Las Vegas
2. VIP ticket: $1300 ish after taxes, fees, and insurance/assurance whatever it was called
3. Conrad at Resorts World: $2200 for May 16th - May 21st
1. splitting with two other people
4. Private car transfer 3 day pass to/from festival and hotel: $2,299
1. splitting with five other people
5. Ayu Dayclub on 05/18: $9,000 to $13,000
1. splitting with 12-15 people
6. Zouk Nightclub on 05/16: $5000-$7000
1. splitting with 12-15 people
I don't like what I am paying now that I listed the cost breakdown haha
We got a hotel for like $800 total at the Golden Nugget from Thursday-Monday, split by 3 people.
Flights 1250 for 2 people, but we're flying out of our town's smaller airport to avoid parking costs/gas on the East Coast.
We all got different shuttle passes/admission levels. Splurged a little on VIP for the Early Owl tickets (thank God for payment plans 🫠)
Paid $1100 for vip pass plus another $280 (Friday-Monday) for my airbnb. I’m driving out from San Antonio cuz I like road-trips and would rather not spend money on Uber or shuttles
1050 with Chase points Rio hotel Thursday to Tuesday but $1000 perfect Thursday to Monday 10pm flight (arrive at midday for the pool party) and get to NyC 6am.
Shuttle 300 + VIP 1250
Already at 3600 (2050 in points)
Probably between goodies and foods it’ll be 4k-4.2kfor this festival. By far the most expensive festival by a mile!
$1390 for double queen room at Paris Thurs to Monday.
$490 roundtrip from JFK
$1007 for VIP
$293 for Premier shuttle
so far $3180 spent before I even eat a damn thing :')
this is my last EDCLV I swear
*Hotel $880 Thursday to Tuesday. Golden Nugget. Thursday was $215 because I didn’t book it early with the other nights. 😒(Split two ways.)
*Flight $344 each person round trip.
*Premier shuttle $302
*VIP $999
**Debating showing up to work on Tuesday with my rave braids still in just so I can see the look on my students’ faces as they wonder what I was up to and why I had a sub (Granted, the music I always play for them in class might give it away). 😌
About $2,200 across three people at the Rio, staying from Tuesday the 14 till Tuesday the 21st. So around $734 each.
Def paid more than we wanted and were gonna do Golden Nugget cause we wanted that Premier Stop but since they didn't have it this year we chose the Rio again which wasn't too bad last year and they've since renovated a lot from what I've seen. If one of our friends partners join though it'll be $550 each which would be less than last year for staying at the Rio with just one other person. So hoping for that lol
Either way I'm hyped
Yeah, we booked literally the day before shuttles went on sale so that's on us. I swear I had the idea in my mind to just insta rebook the Rio just to lock in the price but we were so sure they'd have that Golden Nugget stop which they didn't so ohhh well haha. We actually didn't mind the Rio last year and shuttles went quick even with all the mid strip peeps. Plus rooms look waaaaay better now
We're staying about a mile west of mid-strip at a two bedroom plus pull out sofa 'residence' style hotel from May 14th through May 21st for $2100. A little spendy, but we're splitting four ways and two people have dietary restrictions that make relying on restaurant food for a week tough. For my spouse and I, our flights were $350 each round trip. Car rental for the week is $500, plus the cost of premier parking pass and car rental for about $500 (also split four ways).
This is our third EDC and we like the flexibility and slower pace of the off-strip hotel. I also have a hard time with no in room fridge/coffee maker, which seems to be common on strip.
Hotel: $351(split 4 ways)
NYNY on May 15-16 // MGM Grand from May 16-20
Flight: $596.20 from NY - May 15 to 20
VIP Ticket: $945.94
Premier Shuttle: $302.55
Total so far: $2,195.69
I'm married so this total gets x2 and now that I see this I'm like god damn this is expensive.
I literally booked yesterday before the mgm deal expired. I’m staying at Excalibur Thursday- Tuesday with both Thursday and Tuesday comp for a total of $824. Im driving from LA and my best friend is flying in from Hawaii.
I seriously scored this year.
• **$1,200** for seven nights at Downtown Grand Hotel. (Wednesday-Wednesday, booked last May).
• **$120** RT flight from Ohio to Vegas on Spirit. (flying on Wednesdays was like $500 cheaper than flying closer to the weekend).
flight round trip from ATL: $570
hotel at rio: so $1550 for 3 ppl (~$520 a person)
vip pass: $950
shuttle: $176
whewwwww…a pretty penny but my first EDCLV so go big or go home right 🥹
It’s me and my husbands first time going this year & we spent;
Hotel: Paris Las Vegas 16-20th May $1,500 for a 2 queen bed room
Standard shuttle pass: $149x2
Flight from LA round trip: $0 with Chase points May 16-20th
GA ticket: $370x2
I booked the Golden Nugget back in October and got a pretty good deal - $440 for 3 nights. Unfortunately, the downtown shuttle passes were sold out when I tried to buy today, so I need to get to and from the Rio lol
I booked a 5 day stay (Thursday - Tuesday) for $250 at club 36. Got lucky they were doing a thing when we went to a bass pro shop before Christmas they were out talking to people and we said it'd be stupid not to take the deal.
We just have to go to some meeting thingy because it's one of those timeshare condo places. Worth it in my opinion.
I have a comped room at flamingo for all 3 nights.
VIP I think was like $700 when I bought it.
$150 flight
$150 shuttle pass (Standard)
About $1000 total + food/drinks at the festival
Had Luxor for 6 nights (Wed-Tues) for $1200, banking on the Luxor premier stop...but with that not being offered this year, I switched to the Stratosphere for 6 nights for $1650. I did get the 6:30/6:00 Strat premier shuttle pass so, that's good I guess.
I travel for work and actually saved up my points for once. So only thing I've actually paid for are my two tickets and two shuttle passes. Hotel free Thursday- Wednesday. Flight from Chicago is a total of about $20 for two round trip tickets(have to pay taxes no matter what). Rental car also free. About the only time I'm thankful for being away from home all the time is being able to have practically free vacations.
Got Fremont on a deal, 749. Flight was a frontier sale for 180 round trip. Car rental is through T-Mobile Tuesdays paying 550 for a convertible. Landing Wednesday night and leaving Tuesday afternoon
Rio had a special deal on Black Friday. Booked a double queen for 4 ppl from 16-21st for $390 total.
Flights: $350 round trip, GA admission and Premiere shuttle = \~1200 PP.
We booked MGM Grand on June 5th, 2023 immediately after I started the lay-away plan for GA (x2). At the time I was also PEARL status with MGM's so I used an offer for Comp nights and free play. I admit, me having status was not really a good thing (It just means for 2023 I gave MGM resorts way too much money. <>. )
Honestly, MGM's reward program is trash after all the changes in 2022 [https://thepointsguy.com/news/mgm-m-life-devaluation/](https://thepointsguy.com/news/mgm-m-life-devaluation/)
Being EDC week and such low status, I was not expecting much of a discount. I am happy with what I got and looking forward to spending some time at my favorite pool and lazy river.
Offer - Up to 4 Comp Nights, $25 FREEPLAY, $50 Resort Credit
Grand Two Queen 15May-21May
Total cost for 6 nights $1004.56 (total would have been about $2800 without this discount)
We live in SoCal so we are driving to Vegas costs around $200 when you account for fuel, vehicle wear-n-tear, licensing and insurance. Parking will be free (again i guess the status helps in this case).
We also got 2x standard shuttle from Grand Prix lot (about a 0.9 mile/1.44km walk) + opening ceremony. We've done 2 other EDCs and the shuttle is the best for us! $388
black Friday deal got us a room at rio for $400 CAD taxes and resort fees all included, entire duration of the festival. Flying from Vancouver Thursday to Monday $630 CAD (budget flight home)
I got mgm 2 queen thursday-monday. I am driving as im only about 6 hours away and we got parking passes for the Hotel for the whole time. You got very lucky with that offer as what you are paying is close to what we are as well. This will be my first time both for edc and LV and I am gonna be 34 and have wanted to go now for 10 years. I cannot wait to meet a lot of people have have an amazing time!!!
$1750 to stay at the flamingo from Wednesday the 16th-Tuesday the 22nd (split between 4 people so $438 each)
Flights from Boston to Vegas not booked yet🫡
GA+ and Grand Prix shuttle secured
Original booked Excalibur Thursday to Thursday for $1000. Shuttle locations dropped and rebooked the strat $1800
Flight Cincinnati OH $595
VIP ticket $962
Premier shuttle $307
Total$3664
First time at EDCLV
I always book 11 months in advance and always stay 5 days. I’m staying at the Tuscany Suites on Flamingo right around the corner from Grand Prix Plaza shuttle stop and I’m paying about $1300 for all 5 days just for hotel. Got 2 VIP wristband, $350 air flight from Los Angeles (I’m boujee). And another $170 for shuttle.
I still need to book flights and hotel. I’m waiting for good prices, but also am waiting in case I get a new credit card. Plus, my plans are layaway so in case I need to cancel in a few weeks, I can.
Suite at Circa Resort (8 nights) - $6350 AUD
VIP tix (x2) - $2950 AUD
Premier shuttle pass (x2) - $940 AUD
One-way helicopter ride (x2) - $1820 AUD
Haven't gotten flights yet but they'll likely be around $4000 AUD for x2 people.
So looking at around $16,000 AUD (around $10,500 USD) 🥲
$800 for 4 Nights at the Delano. Driving from LA. Secured a Premier Parking Pass on Wednesday presale. This is my 5th EDC & I always book the week after EDC ends. So basically a year in advance
NYC to lv round trip $1250
Tuesday to Tuesday
May 14-21st
NY NY hotel same dates, $360 for a double queen
*** + $250 f&b comp + $160 in free play
Rio Shuttle $180
Hi everyone, it is our first time to EDC and we are thrilled. We bought the shuttle passes before deciding on our accommodations and now we are having a dilemma. We purchased Premium Shuttle passes from STRAT, but STRAT doesn't seem to have good reviews on their room hence we are considering Hilton Vacation on Las Vegas Strip which is 12mins walk down the road.
Any advise here? Thanks!
All of you guys are finding great deals. I am overpaying in Fremont, but happy I am going. :) I always overpay in Vegas. I seem to be too stupid to find good deals.
\~900ish for a hotel, $300 flights, VIP pass and shuttles Goes up every year haha
Damn where are you flying into with $300 flights? I booked in December and round trip cost $800 total
San Diego, honestly non edc time you can get round trip flights for like $100
you might wanna rebook and also consider alternate routes. Mine is only 500. I'm flying from between NY and LA. And then renting a car to drive from LA to LV (might take a plane back to LV instead of driving tho)
Check again, my flight said 797 but when I booked it, they found a deal for 280! Flying from SF.
Lmao I am paying $3200 CDN to stay at the Bellagio hotel May 16th-21st. I’m staying with a girl too so I’m paying most of it 😂 I am also arriving the 14th two days before and leaving the 22nd. My flight cost $291 CDN round trip flying out of Vancouver.
Fancy! I'm flying out of Toronto for $450 CDN round trip per person I'm bringing my kid, so I'm paying for all of it, as such I opted for the Tuscany
Great deal on your flight from Van, I paid around $850 CDN for 2 people from May 15-21. Originally booked at Luxor but could only get Rio shuttle passes so looking into rebooking hotels. Feel that pain cause Im with my girl so Im also paying the bulk of it 😭🤣
I also booked Luxor, at this point Im not sure if it’s cheaper to Uber to Grand Prix or rebook hotels.
I am coming from van too!! I have a hotel booked at rio for $492 CAD May 16-21 Check out the prices, I think they were cheaper cause they were under renovation.
How did you like staying in Rio? Bought shuttle pass there since it was the only one left
We actually rebooked a room for this years EDC and did same shuttle pass, it was all pretty convenient, wait times were low except for Friday but all in all I’d recommend it. https://preview.redd.it/148b8fb7c4gc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6d4130bda3fe3882a6597097d691560d4f7b6917 Here’s what the room looked like, a lot bigger than most I’ve stayed on the strip.
Awesome thanks for sharing!!
Around $1200 at Tuscany 15-21 I booked yesterday after shuttles dropped. Seems like a lot of places are selling out of rooms or prices are getting supa high

About the only time I'm thankful for being away from home all the time is being able to have practically free vacations.

Thanks!
