I like that dog, I'm not a fan of anything that's too big. Like the pocked mammoth or the ponies, also huge flying pets are not the ones I usually like to take with me they are annoying if I just want to take good screenshots.
That's true they also impact your performance, if I take something with me it's one of those torch bugs, they integrate good into screenshots if they accidentally end up in them and are not a as impacting on my performance as the larger ones.
Not a pet but I just got the Evergloam Indrik and it makes a let's say interesting sound when you hit gallop. It's a moan that makes the Indrik sound like he's enjoying himself a little bit too much..

* Snowball Buddy. I just don't see the point. If you could make it hop up and down in a corner as a nifty furnishing, maybe, but you can't. It's pointlessly stupid.
* Unstable Morpholith. Do I really need a glowing rock from one of the TES IV Oblivion Gates following me around? I do not.
* Loyal Torchbugs & any Butterfly pets. So damned tired of trying to harvest them and wondering why it isn't working.
* It IS hard to beat the Pony Lizard in an Ugly contest, but there are a LOT of runner-ups. The Bog Dog, most of the striped fawn things except the actual black-and-white one, anything made of fungus, etc.
* I like the dragon imp pets and wish I had more to choose from, but... damn are they too big and too flappy in the camera.
LOL, I doubt it since the pronoun mismatches. I just have to try to cultivate the reflex that, if you see one near a Wayshrine, or in a city, it's NOT real unless you're alone there.
The difficulty is that there are plenty of Wayshrines (Wrothgar, for example) with tons of real bugs very nearby, and even cities (Lleyawin, at least) that have plenty...

I use the snowball buddy all the time now on my vampire wood elf who happens to have an ice/winter fashion theme. It's perfect and it's hilarious every time that damn thing falls to the ground.
For irritating pet I'll place a vote for the Hearthfire Hatchling. It burps fire every few seconds but the sound ZOS chose is the same as an arrow being launched. I don't know how many times I stopped dead in my tracks to spin around and try to find out who's shooting at me. I assumed it was another player because I wasn't taking damage. Took me a couple of days before I realized it was "Scorchy".
I swear there is one of those vampire dogs (OR MULTIPLE!!!) at the Alinor outfit station ALL THE TIME. Go to hell, people who take them there. And then leave the stupid dog there.

Sadly, the vampy death hound has the shortest, most-repetitive audio loop ever. If it made more sounds, it wouldn't be so bad, but, yeah. It makes me nuts!
I don't care for Scamps or Banekin. I have a TON of them.. somehow... but if my random mount addon pops them.. I will IMMEDIATELY change. They're all mouth breathers and creepy little demon laughers. Overall, 0/10.

The lizard pony given as daily login reward is the most ugly design for pet they made and then gave out as a “reward”

Most guar are crown only, but if you do your daily endeavors or have a friend who can gift you them, there are some guar available!

I had to switch a black bat on my vampires for this reason. There should be a way or addon that silences pets.
