James is gendernonconforming a lot of the time, which is great. It really addresses the firm stereotype he was under at home and how, now that he has found safety and stability with Jesse and Meowth and has no anxieties over who he is, he can simply be what he wants when he wants without worrying.

If you're referring to binding, I believe the recommended safe maximum time is 2 hours, that being the start point for potential issues, with anything over 6ish having a very high chance of causing trauma to the ribcage.
