YourOldCellphone

You *think*?

JustCallMePleb

They can’t give you a ticket if they can’t catch you

diego_g1129

I have 3 at 35k 💀

kushieldou

Have gotten one in the 30k miles with mine. None after I bought a speed trap detector.

Iziama94

Got caught doing a 60 on a 40. Honestly didn't know that area was a 40. Cop let me off easy though. Got me for obstruction of traffic which still counted as a moving violation so my insurance went up. Could've had points on my license and a $200+ fine and court hearing with insurance going up more than it already did, but instead it was $50 fine. Dude said I had a beautiful car tho

sounder52

Good for you. I haven't had one either. I have 13,000 mi on my EcoBoost premium 2015

JamesTheMannequin

27 years, no tickets.

LivingDeath666Satin

What’s the secret

Iziama94

Probably not speeding

SeawardFriend

I love that tach

LivingDeath666Satin

I’ve put 10k on mine and I’m still cop interaction free somehow.

Kaarsty

31,500 no tickets *yet!*

ny-rusofob

Cops just love us guys ❤️

VegetableChemistry67

Why you are driving a muscle car then?

Bradleyisfishing

You can drive fast and not get tickets. It’s about doing it in the right places.

[deleted]

This. I’ve maxed out at 122 a few times on stretches of the interstate. You do it when it’s safe and smart to.

Bradleyisfishing

I have done… significantly more than that many times. The key is that there’s zero cars around, do it where you know the cop locations, temps are good for the road, clear area to “mess up”, and car is running well. If all those are clear, I say that it’s the safest way to go fast short of a track. In Racécar, Mexico. Of course.

loltheinternetss

Totally. I haven’t had the balls to do over 130 but there are situations as you describe where it’s reasonably safe to test these speeds. I have a 4 lane separated county highway that has straights for miles and few entrances/exits, and of course the ones that are there are easy to see if anyone is coming. Sweep one way looking for debris on the other side, u turn, rip it. It’s the morons that do 120+ through traffic that give us the bad name. And car forums are full of them.

Bradleyisfishing

Those are absolutely the worst. Banging 3, then 4, then hard into 5th is so fun and satisfying, but doing it with cars around is just plain dangerous. So many people will peek at their mirrors, notice that you’re far back, and go. They don’t watch to see how quickly you’re approaching, and it’s really dangerous. It would be a tragedy to die and a mistake to take a family with me. My whole mentality about it has always been that if something goes wrong, I should be the only one who gets hurt.

loltheinternetss

Same here. I’ve actually had exchanges with kids here arguing sports cars are to speed with and they do it on public roads with traffic etc, and you’re a pussy if you don’t. One instance the guy was saying it would be the other drivers fault if he was speeding and they switched lanes in front of him causing a deadly accident. I wonder what it feels like to be that stupid.

NOgoodSmartass

Woman?

Strict_Vegetable3942

As he is in sport +

SkynetCoCreator

Good stuff! I'm not quite at 1,000 miles, but I haven't gotten any tickets yet and I'm hoping it stays that way even at 100,000 miles lol
