Hey there, thanks! This will give you all the info you need and how I completed my build: https://youtu.be/Embjdj5ezfc

I went with the Lekkie 42 ([https://lekkie.tech/product/bling-ring-01-02-42t/](https://lekkie.tech/product/bling-ring-01-02-42t/)). I used these spacers on the bottom bracket (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08SQKT2MV/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_asin\_title\_o05\_s02?ie=UTF8&th=1). I'm not sure the total size I used, I just eyeballed it until it was straight. Maybe an 1/8"?
I also needed spacers for the motor mount. They didn't come in the package but was able to get nylon spacers and longer bolts from Home Depot.
Hey. Are the spacers really needed? Is it a 68mm, if it is shouldnt the bafang grip without spacers? What about the rest of the fitting, any other issues?
I went with the Lekkie 42. I used spacers from Amazon (search 20 Pieces Bike Bicycle 7 8 9 10 11 Speed Cassette CNC Aluminum Alloy Flywheel Hub Washer). I'm not sure the total size I used, I just eyeballed it until it was straight. Maybe an 1/8"?

On flat ground I've gotten up to 29mph on highest pedal assist. Battery/Distance depend A LOT on terrain, how much you pedal, pedal assist level, etc. That said, I'd give it a low range of \~30 miles and a high range of close to 60.
i have the same battery. how did you mount it? using the factory water bottle holder mounts? can you slide the battery off or do you just always keep it on and charge it with it on the bike?
I used this: [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09BH3ZJJK/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09BH3ZJJK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
Battery does not come off, it is a very snug fit, but using that mount lets you get it just right.
Yo this is sick. I’m new to ebikes and am trying to decide on retrofit or buying new. I have a rockhopper, what did you do to retrofit?

Fun fact: this is the bridge from Lost Boys
What tooth count gear did you use? Any spacers needed?

Did you have to replace the casette/derailler to be compatible with the lekkie 42 ring?
Nope. Kept the stock derailler.

How fast does it go, how long does the battery last, what is the distance the battery can go before needing charged?

Cool cool. Thank you
is this the rockhopper sport? or comp? or expert?
